Complete sh’t hole. Don’t stay here! They lost my reservation even after I had Orbitz call them. Neighborhood is very bad & place is dirty and smells like feces.

Booked this hotel online with Hotwire for 3 persons, checked in to room to only figured it has 1 bed; General rule is such 2 adults may get one bed unless asked otherwise, but for 3 people it is always separate two beds. Person named Kumar, hotel manager, and his two other buddies at the reception, in somewhat rude manner said that 3 people in the same bed depends on personal habit only and refused to give sofa or temporary bed, suggested 3-​rd person to sleep on the floor. We could not stand such a blatant disregards and boorishness, so we called Hotwire, Hotwire called hotel only to apologize and immediately upgrade us to a much better hotel for the same prace. I’d suggest to keep away from this place simply for the lack of respect to american culture and customers.

This hotel is a solid 3 to 4 star. Here’s why. The price is reasonable. In fact, I stayed at the Radisson JFK the night after I stayed at the Lexington so I would be close to the airport. The Lexington beat out the Radisson on all levels except for linens. Stay at the Lexington 1) Subway just a short walk over the Van Wyck Expressway 2) restaurants and food in every direction 3) clean, I mean the bathroom was spotless 4) in room fridge 5) complimentary breakfast 5) flat screen TV 7) free WiFi that works 6) comfortable bed. Don’t worry about the neighborhood, it is fine! You will be happy here.

I have never seen such a dirty hotel. The bed covers have weird stains (is it blood? Is it marker? Who knows? Gross.), they have dead bugs everywhere (on the night stand, in the corners of the room, under the AC). Oh, and if you request a refund, the manager will accuse you of bringing in the bugs (undeniably offensive), complaining too much (uh, I just asked for someone to clean up the ants, and you can’t even do that??), being drunk (drinking alcohol is against my religion, so it’s a ridiculous statement) and won’t refund your money, even if you decide that an unsanitary hotel is not the place that you want to stay.

I have no major complaints about this place. However the guy at the front desk seemed to possess the aura of an asshole. I reserved a queen sized bed, smoking allowed via
and paid $ 152.67 for one night. I chose the pay later option which means the cash won’t be deducted from your credit/​debit card until you check in or check out. I was able to reserve the room 3 – 4 days before the actual check-​in date too. Unfortunately this place kept declining my debit card because it isn’t linked to a bank account. Prepaid cards aren’t recognized by the machine used to process transactions here. However, once I reserved a room online (pay later option) they had to hold it for me up until check-​in time on the day of. I was allowed to check-​in an hour earlier than the advertised time. So instead of having to wait until 3pm, I was able to go to my room immediately at 2 pm. Furthermore, I thought that to be very nice of the male receptionist (asshole meter dropped) who appeared to be of Indian descent. I thought the room was very comfortable and homely. We had a mini fridge, microwave, air conditioner, coffee pot with heater that you can either make coffee or tea with. There was 2 Lipton tea bags with packets of sugar and coffee as well along with small cups. The television is a flat screen with not so many channels but there’s a porn channel along with a movie channel amongst the available ones. There’s also a blow dryer in the bathroom and for once there were washrags, not just towels. Most places are sure to have towels but no washrags. I ordered from a Chinese food brochure that was placed in the lobby. The food was pretty good and it was delivered right to my door.

Rodney is right. Don’t go there. Place is run down. CHECKED In last week to room filled with smell of smoke, sheets had cigarette burnt marks, and room was dusty dirty. TOWELS placed on bathtub ledge and not towel rack. Called to complain and when I said I will call the city to complain the little stupid kid downstairs said he didn’t care. Room door 202 did not close so your safety is at risk in other rooms. forget about the train noise… dirty room was enough to stop me from sleeping. NASTY UNSAFE DUMP WITH NASTY SERVICE

This hotel is the worst the young guy in the front will piss you off and run behind the glass and call the cops .do not come here its not worth it noise is loud from all the trains. staff is unfriendly lots of young girls in the lobby .the day I check in cop were here .its dark under the train tracks and I don’t think it to safe
