History

Established in 1971.

Leonard Snr is a Savile Row trained, master tailor. He moved his bespoke tailoring business from London to NYC in 1991 and has resided in midtown ever since. Along with our true bespoke suits (hand cut personally by Leonard Snr), we offer custom suits, custom shirts and custom ties. We are also the US representatives of Hilditch and Key, the world renown bespoke shirt-​makers from Jermyn Street in London, established in 1899.

Business Owner

Leonard Snr is a Savile Row trained, master tailor. That means that he personally hand-​cuts client’s bespoke suits right here in our midtown showroom. He established his bespoke suiting business on Carnaby Street in London, in 1971 (at age 21). In 1991 he relocated to «The States», after marrying an American woman he met on a business trip, and has since resided in NYC. His skills are not only put to use on the cutting board everyday, but are also used to oversee the rest of the custom department, which offers custom suits, custom shirts and custom ties. His knowledge and years of experience in the menswear industry are almost unmatched, especially in The United States.
