Never have I found a more loyal cleaner. I got my graduation gown cleaned here and delivered to me within a day. The owner herself called me with updates, knowing I was on a time crunch. Rest assured I had the gown pressed properly for my big day. I also left a coat here for a YEAR and they still had it waiting for me when I finally called about it again. So if your worried about property loss, don’t be! They rock and they’re very clean too. Character count is cutting my gratitude short.

Expensive, slow, and poor customer service. 4 days to dry clean a blanket (not even a comforter). Can’t wait to see the cost. Regular wash and dry takes a couple of days, is very expensive, and when they lose things they make no effort to find them. Fine to use this place if you’ve got time and money!

I visited the Harlem location, because it’s in my neighborhood. I paid $ 25 to cut off the bottom hem of a dress which I personally think is too much. it’s not like it was that much fabric to cut or that difficult of a job. I paid the price they asked for and the dress seemed to be okay. I was satisfied, until I wore it. Every seam at the bottom of the dress burst. There’s holes upon holes upon holes. It’s really disgusting for the price I paid. I will never go back there not even to get something cleaned.

Well, they’ve moved around the corner to 23^rd st. The sign outside sez 30% discount. THEY LIE. Same prices as before. I’m not coming back.

DESTROYED MY SHIRTS, FAILED TO DELIVER THE DAMAGED SHIRTS AND THEN WANTED $
I gave Legacy cleaners two of my finest custom made silk shirts and they returned them back to me with the collar and cuffs damaged. They failed to used the right treatment process after i made it clear that these must be taken care of with special care.
Secondly, their delivery times are unreliable, I had to reschedule with them on THREE different occasions.
One excuse was we rescheduled you from 10AM to 8PM and when asked why no one called to tell me that they said we had made a mistake. The next mistake comes when I asked them to leave my shirts at my door after giving them security access they still failed to do so. When I asked them why they did not leave my shirts after I told them to, they said it was the decision of the owner.
Frankly for the prices they charge, which are 10 bucks for a shirt, I will NOT recommend you bother using their service but instead to the the korean place across the street.
ONE STAR IS GENEROUS — it’s a dry cleaners, how can you mess up such a service in so many ways?
6 months later, I am getting my shirts back.

I’ve lived and/​or worked in this part of town for over five years, have tried quite a few dry cleaners and tailors, and have found Legacy to be the best all-​around. Friendly and efficient, I may be bringing my maid of honor dress to them next month as I trust them to alter it skillfully.

Legacy Cleaners has a large, poster-​sized letter in their store letting you know that they are a family business and take great care when dry cleaning your clothes. I believe the poster, but I also believe they put this up because they recognize their competition is much cheaper.
It was $ 12.50 to clean a sweater/​cardigan and $ 10 for a blazer. I think that’s a bit steep.
They did do a good job, though. So I suppose choosing a dry cleaner might depend on your desire to support local businesses.

Nice lady behind the counter is about the only good thing about this place. Prices are way above the quality. They lost two of my shirts (one being my favorite). They offered $ 100 credit for services there. Why would I want $ 100 dollars credit to a place I don’t even want to go to anymore.
There’s literally 15 dry cleaners within a 3 block radius of this place. Do yourself a favor and go see Chin over on 26^th in between 2^nd and 3^rd. You’ll save about 40% and he does a faster, better job.

The staff is super friendly and their prices are great. The stellar customer service is totally what you’re paying for here… and it’s well worth it.
24 hour service has been great in terms of dry cleaning. For hemming, sometimes they ask for more time. But I’ve had a few available same day!
Well worth the time and the effort.

I use legacy on a regular basis and they consistently do a good job. they are a little pricier than others but in my experience that have excellent customer service. I walked in today to get a dressed repaired for a party tonight and they had no problem doing the work and delivering in tonight.
