I had a cellphone ticket that she represented me on. She said that if it wasn't a friendly judge, she would postpone the ticket. However, when I called her up the following day she said that we lost and I got 5 points as a result, and nothing she could do. If I knew she was that fake and incompetent, I would have represented myself and saved money and given myself a better chance at dismissing the ticket, because I wasn't even using the phone when I got pulled over. I don't advise anyone using her because she is a bad attorney with fake promises, nothing but a waste of money and a lot of points.

PLEASE SAVE YOUR MONEY OR GO TO OTHER ATTORENY , this attorney cant work hard for you, you pay for her attorney fees and you never win any violation tickets with her office.

RUN AWAY! Any other inexperienced lawyer will benefit you more than this firm. And, you will definitely get a better customer service! Very rude people!

I love Deborah Magee, She is an awesome lawyer to fight traffic tickets. I have known her for a decade plus. She surprised me one more time by having my tickets dismissed. I highly recommend her. Her prices are reasonable and most of all i don’t have to trek to the courts as she handled all my summonses in my absence.

I was dismayed by reading some of the negative reviews. My case was handled by Ms. Katz at a Manhattan TVB hearing. This was actually a revelation. Ms. Katz was warm, gracious, and extremely professional.
Ms. Katz met with me, went over my defense and evidence, and assuaged my trepidation and nervousness. She was very cool and calm in presenting my case to the judge, as well as her questioning of the officer.
In the end I was found not guilty, my case dismissed, and preventing points on my license. I can’t begin to tell you how great I felt. In my case, Deborah Ann Magee went above and beyond. I would recommend them highly.

Simply the Best. I was innocent and exonerated thanks to Deborah. My ticket was issued in NYC by an undercover cop who probably needed to make a quota. Deborah represented me in court and challenged the ticketwhich carried a fine of $ 350 dollars and 5 points. Deborah fought for me and righteousness and prevailed. I highly recommend and endorse her.

Worst lawyer ever. Lost my case, didn’t even tell me. Have fines and points to boot. Go elsewhere save your money. Horrible.

They lost a case in which, not only was the license plate number written incorrectly, but the alleged offense was recorded as taking place at a time when the driver wasn’t even in this country, nor has ever been.
They are rude and disrespectful. They are not punctual. They are clearly breaking the ethics guidelines they were hopefully taught in law school.
PLEASE have enough respect for yourself to take your problem elsewhere.

Save your money. This lawyer is very unprofessional and does not do her job. She will get you points and ruin your record.

This lawyer had been recommended by my cab drivers friends. They get tickets in Manhattan often and this lawyer is pretty efficient in fighting them.
Here is the catch: TICKETS IN MANHATTAN.
I retained this office to fight a traffic ticket in Queens. Big mistake. Never do this.
For Queens DMV (and perhaps all other outer boros) this firm retains a low quality per diem attorneys who have no interest in fighting tickets and do not understand basics of attorney-​client relationship.
In November 2014 I met one of their per diem attorneys named Jay at Queens South DMV some 15 minutes before the hearing. Jay was supposed to fight my ticket. I introduced myself and added that I am a client of Deborah Magee law office. Jay immediately displayed displeasure and responded that «You are not my client. I don’t work for Deborah Magee law firm. I don’t want to talk to you, you are not even supposed to be here».
Jay did not respond to my subsequent questions «Why am I not supposed to be at my own trial?» and «I paid legal fee upfront — that does not make me a client?» Of course this attorney got fired immediately.
I asked Debora Magee office for refund, it was refused.
You may want to use this firm for your Manhattan tickets. But do not expect any competent representation from this firm in outer boros. Waste of money.
