Alexandra V. Tseitlin graduated from Barnard College, Columbia University, earning a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics in 1983, and a J.D. from Cardozo Law School in 1987. Ms. Tseitlin defended clients accused of crimes during her tenure as a Senior Trial Attorney with the Legal Aid Society, Criminal Defense Division, from 1987 to 1994. Ms. Tseitlin has been practicing criminal defense work in New York State and Federal Courts for 27 years.

The firm is also engaged in family and employment-​based immigration law practice. We file marriage and other relative petitions to enable clients to gain legal status. Ms. Tseitlin represents skilled professionals, athletes, artists and persons with extraordinary and exceptional ability seeking to obtain lawful permanent residency. The firm is filing H, O, P, F, B and other visa petitions and applications. Ms. Tseitlin has been defending clients against deportation before the Immigration Courts, Board of Immigration Appeals and in Federal Courts.
