Have been a client for over a year… Started with a groupon and stayed. I’ve had several areas treated and results are awesome. Practice is professional, easy to book and get to, staff is always pleasant and helpful (Marve is the bomb). Highly recommend for laser hair removal.

Dimpal was my technician. She’s friendly and will talk to you throughout the entire time. I’m very happy with her service. The only problem is with the front desk when you have a schedule change (I remove 1 star for this reason). Most likely, the front desk would mess up if you call to reschedule your appointment (like still remind you about the cancelled appointment and forget about the rescheduled appointment). Make sure to have your own calendar and don’t depend on their reminder.

Taking care of my skin is vital after having been immersed in the beauty industry for 12 years. I came to Laser Touch Aesthetics for the microdermabrasion procedure for the overall upkeep of my skin. For my initial consultation, Martha was fantastic! Made me feel at ease and well taken care of. Working with private clients as a professional makeup artist I have been able to recommend her services to my clients as she goes above and beyond for hers.
As apprehensive as I was, she also convinced me to get laser hair removal which I am now so happy I did! I will definitely continue to visit Martha for the microdermabrasion procedure along with other services that she offers. Thanks Martha for your killer service!

After my pleasant laser hair removal experiences with Martha, I decided to finally do something about that little bit of fat (ok, a lot) around my navel upon recommendation. I tried CoolSculpting and LOVE the results (for more information on the procedure:
). It really works and I feel like I found the holy grail of fat removal! Thanks Martha and LaserTouch team!

THEY GAVE MY LADY BITS AN ASYMMETRICAL MOUSTACHE
First time I went for a brazilian was great. She talked me through the process, got every bit of skin, I walked out with a great experience and after talking to her and the hair taking forever to grow back considering having everything lasered.
Second time the lady missed most of everything. Completely forgot the back even when I reminded her she said she got it. Skipped half of the front. Skipped the entire inside. Do you have any idea how awkward it looks when hair is growing out of the inside but not the outside? It’s weird. Everything looked so weird in fact that my boyfriend couldn’t stop laughing. For a month.
I say for a month because I wanted to give her the benefit of the doubt. After all some hairs take a really long time to fall out.
So I waited.
And waited.
You know how I mentioned it was great that it lasted forever?
Imagine how bad that is when it’s done badly and you can’t wax it.
I went to Brazil. With a five o clock shadow over half of my lady bits because I have very fair skin and very dark hair.
When I came back I finally called. The girl apologised and made me an appointment with the lovely (eastern European?) Woman I’d had the first time. She said I probably wouldn’t be charged for the visit.
Umm. My lady bits are lasered like someone was painting camo print down there. But whatever. I figured it would all be sorted out when I arrived.
Unfortunately the trains were abysmal that day and between the delays and having to change trains I eventually ended up late and to get to their office would be another 20 minutes if Google maps was accurate which on a weekend in New York is not very likely.
So I called and got voicemail.
So I called the other offices.
Also voicemail.
So I left a message with this office explaining the situation.
No follow up email.
No call back.
Finally back in the city again. Going to try to call again tomorrow but right now I’m seriously disappointed by their customer service.
In short. If you get the sweet I think eastern European woman who draws grids on your lady bits and tells you how to breathe then congrats you’re going to look great down there. For a really long time.
If you get the bored looking American lady I got. Well walk out. If you didn’t, stock up on razors and have a sense of humour when your boyfriend can’t stop laughing at your bizarre and very expensively trimmed patchy pubes.

If there was a no star option, I would have definitely given it to this hideous place that doesn’t respond to customers!!! I emailed them to ask about a Special advertised in January for carboxy treatments for $ 199. Merve responded «yes, we do have a special for $ 219 going on right now» so I inquired further «are you not honoring the $ 199 as advertised on your site?» Crickets… I emailed again and again to no avail. Ana responded «yes we can honor the $ 199» then finally Merve — Mr. Magic man surfaced «yes we can honor that» I was turned off at this point as he was trying to pull one over on me. Once he saw Ana’s response, he decided to take over again as he probably realized he was going to lose a customer. I emailed both back saying «thanks, but Ana responded first, when can I come in for a treatment?» crickets again. I called the number listed on their site and got forwarded to a 646 number! Emailed again — CRICKETS!!! Lol, this is as unprofessional as it gets!!! Merve is a piece of work. Don’t go to this place. They will try to rip you off and are highly unprofessional!

Martha is amazing at what she does. I have been going to her for hair laser removal and i am very happy with the results. Every session i have with her i see less and less hair grow.

I wake up every day, look in the mirror and I am amazed by my face! Yeah, vain much? Well yes I am. I take pride in how I look and having beautiful youthful skin makes me happy!
Dr. Vafa is my go to guy with all the answers. He can make miracles outta mole hills if you can just let down your tuff city guard and put your scarred face/​hairy body in his well schooled hands. He’s a pro at what he does and it shows.
Treatments I’ve had here last for a long time and has residual effects. Been coming here for many years and honestly the service offered is commendable and on point.

I had my first session today. Dimpal was great. Spoke to me through the process to take my mind off of it. I was in and out in under a half an hour

Note: I did not have a treatment. But was so angry at the time wasted that I have to complain.
Purchased a treatment on groupon. Tried to book an appointment, which involved being passed around between different people who weren’t able to access the booking system. Finally ok, made an appointment, told them groupon and face treatment.
Turned up and found my time was wasted. Waited a while before anyone was on the reception desk. Told that I actually couldnt get my treatment in my appointment time as I had to wait for the MD not aesthiatician as it was a face treatment. I’d booked a face treatment. And told them specifically it would be on my face. what exactly did they think was going to happen.
Then I get told that my groupon was worthless. As it was a face treatment and the MD has higher rates, credit card only (this must be an invisible term and condition that neither the company or people doing the booking tell me or groupon about, only the patient when they’re already time-​committed and arrived at the office).
Yes, I will get a refund from groupon, thats fine, I dont care about cost. I’m just angry for the time wasted, which noone at LaserTouch seemed to give a single care about.

I have been with LaserTouch Aesthetics for 2 years. The service is wonderful, prices are very reasonable and you can buy a package; that will be way cheaper than at other Manhattan Salons. And the location is very convenient. Thanks a lot to Dimpal! She is the best.

Pretty hurts. Beyonce said it, so it has to be true.
I started coming here though a Lifebooker deal, and continued after my LB sessions were over. I’ve done carboxy therapy here, laser hair removal, and microdermabrasion. All are somewhat painful treatments, but necessary for a woman interested in inching towards flawlessness. I’ve requested Dimpal when I make my appointments, and so I get her professionalism and experience when I go in.
For the unaware, carboxy therapy treatments require injecting carbon dioxide gas directly into the skin. I do it to treat stretch marks. Apparently some women use it to treat cellulite. The nature of this treatment means that there is occasional bleeding. Dimpal makes an unpleasant treatment into something tolerable for me. She’s thorough, but works fast, and above all– has a light touch. I’ve had carboxy from 3 other technicians previously, I prefer Dimpal’s style.
The studio has high tech machinery. This helps. As a client of LHR, I can attest to the fact that the new generation machines are much more gentle on the skin while being just as effective. Their LHR machine sprays a rain shower of laser beams as well as frost to keep the skin cool and avoid burning. I’m a caramel colored Black woman, I need a YAG laser, they have that.
I’ve seen from the brochures in the waiting area that the studio offers anti-​aging treatments for the face and body. So I guess I’ll be coming here when my beauty issues switch over to maintaining a youthful look.

This place has completely changed my life in a sense… I no longer shy away from skirts or wait until I shave to wear skirts… The technicians are amazing and super friendly… Dimpal is one of the best in my opinion. Prices are reasonable… And the location is ideal if you commute or work in the city…

I purchased a lifebooker for Carboxy Therapy. I wasn’t sure what I had gotten myself into. It was similar to laser hair removal pain. The technician explained to me that I should have at least 3 sessions in order to see results. I didn’t want to pay even more money, but the technician checked and had me purchase another lifebooker deal and a regular session. Overall, it’s almost half of what the normal prices are. WTF, I see results. RESULTS people. My skin isn’t blemish free or perfect, but it looks better than before! I like the technician who does it, she is very friendly, works quickly, and most importantly does a thorough job. Normally for groupon or lifebooker, I know better than to expect a thorough job. This woman is great. I love that they are open late, as someone who travels every single week and isn’t out the door by 5, it’s a huge bonus.

I do not recommend Dr Vafa. Dr Vafa gave me a very questionable diagnosis and I am just glad that the damage he inflicted wasn’t worse than it was.

I couldn’t resist a Lifebooker offer posted from LaserTouch Aesthetics ($ 99 for 2 LHR Brazilian Bikini area sessions) so I purchased the deal and booked my first appointment. Their office is clean, they offer flexibility with scheduling (late-​night hours are available for working bees) and their Candela GentleYag performs well, yielding effective results (and a happy customer in me).
The technician who worked with me both times is very good and stayed with me patiently as I winced in pain and waited as I took a few seconds to recover before giving me the next zap. Small chit chat was made, but I was usually in and then out of the office.
My only gripe about them is how far out of the way they are … Each trip took 1.5 hours out of the work day because of the subway commute there. They are close by a few subways, they just aren’t very easy for me to get to from the Flatiron.
At the conclusion of the second session, the laser technician offered me some specials which were pretty good in terms of pricing, but Deify Laser + Beauty Lounge is much closer to me and has the same machine so I prefer to go there instead to save on time. If you’re in the area nearby Central Park, I definitely recommend paying LaserTouch Aesthetics a visit.

The strangeness has subsided somewhat since the initial experience. The owner, nice guy by the name of Mike, called me on my cell the next day to explain he was away on business and apologized for not being able to get back to me sooner. He expressed concern and confusion over how the technician did not explain everything upfront, such as being charged for all 6 treatments up front. He also explained that with the Unilocal deal they were honoring, it comes out to around $ 110 a treatment, which is supposed to be a great deal. I appreciated the effort he made to explain this isn’t normally how they do business.
Another example of the odd exclusion of information was the technician tossing in a post-​treatment lotion after the first meeting. This would be find, except she didn’t tell me that it was $ 28. I would have considered buying it from them, if they would have just told me up front, again, of the cost. They did the refund for this once I returned it unopened.
In the end, the owner gave me a refund for the unused treatments, and charged me for the one treatment at the discounted Unilocal price. This could have been far more unpleasant. If you come, just be sure to ask about everything up front.

I purchased a Lifebooker deal for a diamond microdermabrasion, I figured I’d give LaserTouch a shot since there was a ton of positive reviews.
The diamond microderm was awesome and my technician was very sweet, I had a pleasant experience overall and really did want to come back.
I noticed the microderm deal on Lifebooker again and figured «Hey, let’s see if I can use this again!» Now, I do realize businesses need to make money and Lifebooker does take a cut. however I do read the fine print with how many loots a client can purchase. I decided to call in and see if I can still take advantage of the loot deal.
This is where this place loses two stars. a man picked up and I asked him about if I can still use the deal to which he proceeded to not answer a direct «yes» or «no», but instead tried to haggle with me. Ummm. I informed him that there was a limit of two deals per client and he replied «It’s for new clients only and you’re not a new client» even though the deal description did not say ANYTHING about the loot being for first-​time clients only. The whole exchange was just unpleasant and he made me feel like I was at fault for asking about the Lifebooker deal.
The whole experience was kind of awkward and I did not like to feel like I was being mislead, so I don’t think I’ll be going back anytime soon. What a shame too. :/​
If you buy the Lifebooker Loot for the microderm, get the 2/​max per client. It’ll save you an uncomfortable phone call later.

Waiting area is clean, modern and inviting. When going to a new salon or laser center, you never know what to expect. I am impressed and was pleasantly surprised to have found such a great place.
Sahar is just wonderful, I cannot say enough about her. She was very patient with any questions that I had and really went the extra mile to insure that I was comfortable and was having a good experience. The center is busy, but Sahar never made me feel rushed, she is so thorough and gentle. I will be going back for all of my future aesthetic needs.
