«High class» as they said on the telephone. We ordered a large amount of food and didn’t get anything free. 100 $ worth of food and couldn’t give us any fortune cookies or free sodas. They said they were too high class to give any of those promotion. The food was bland and the chicken was gummy. It was expensive Chinese food that tastes like regular, hood Chinese food. Disappointed!!!

A combination Chinese and Latino restaurant? Sounded promising. I ordered the sesame chicken, which is ordinarily one of my favorites. Unfortunately it was practically inedible, tough, stale and chewy, and tasted like it had been sitting around all day. I honestly couldn’t force myself to eat it, it was so tough.

This place is really bad. I got sesame chicken. It’s just congealed soy sauce over hardened chicken. For $ 13. It’s almost inedible.

First off, This place looks like a hole in the wall. However, the chicaron de Pollo is amazing. I believe it’s number 12 on the combo menu. Huge portions and good fried rice. The waiter was very friendly and accommodating. I do recommend this place for lunch or dinner.

Decent Chinese/Latin fusion food here. This place was doing fusion before fusion was cool. With that said, it also needs a complete overhaul. It looks old and dingy. Walk into this restaurant and you literally feel like you went back in time. La Dynastia needs to get with the program… Either that or get swept away by all of the innovation going on in the hood. Would suck to see them go but gentrification is real as funk.

One of my favorite spots uptown — love their food!!! You get the best of both worlds. You can never go wrong with Cuban Chinese food.

True Chinese food with a Spanish twist. Just a few bucks more than regular take out food, big portions, full of flavor and fresh!

I absolutely love this little gem. From the outside, it seems like a Chinese food take-out restaurant but it’s really a Latin/Chinese restaurant. Service is great and the food comes out very quickly. The portions are huge and everything is delicious. My favorite dish is the crackling chicken -$ 12. It is accompanied with rice and a salad. They give you chicken for days so there will definitely be leftovers if you don’t share this meal w/someone else!

Went in for dinner and it was AMAZING!!! My wife had the fried chicken(chicharon de pollo) with plantains(tostones). I had the house special fried rice with spanish style steak. Both meals were AMAZING! We also had their homemade iced tea which was GREAT!!! I recommend this place to EVERYONE.

Their food is okay. My mother really enjoyed her dish. What ticked me was that they took my order and made it the pricier option. I ordered shrimp, broccoli in garlic sauce with fried rice. After, explaining that it was a combination plate. They gave me shrimp fried rice. And, the second plate was not even a combination. You can’t up-sell, if you’re not actually«selling». I can’t stand when restaurants give me what they think I want and not what I actually ordered. I am unsure if I’ll be back.

This is a local neighborhood restaurant that serves cheap and good food. It is Chinese food with a Latin flare. Food: Their fried rice had great flavor and more ingredients in it then other Chinese restaurants. Crackling chicken was very juice and nicely marinated. My friends tried the ropa vieja and fried pork chops, they were both very tasty. Their latin food for a Chinese restaurant is definitely not bad. Service: It is really interesting how all the wait staff, they are all Chinese, can speak fluent Spanish. Very nice people. Overall I had a great meal at a decent price. Would definitely rather go here then any of those crummy fast food Chinese restaurants in the neighborhood for Chinese food.

I was so excited to try this place as it was advertised as Chinese food with a Latin twist. So disappointing. I ordered the fried chicken crackling, and either they misheard me or the crackling looks, tastes and is actually just fried chicken. The salad was rabbit food and the dumplings were average and overpriced. Not worth it.

This is probably one of the two Chinese food restaurants that I would even consider eating from in the area. The other being China Sun, I would still rather eat here because overall, their menu is edible. China Sun makes terrible fried rice, though I do like them for their mei fun. I think La Dinastia would be spot on if they included some noodle dishes to their menu, aside from just the lo mein. Don’t be fooled though, just make a really good lo mein! My boyfriend and I usually order the sesame chicken and beef broccoli lunch special. It comes out to about 18bucks after drinks, which is kind of overpriced. I would like if the special fried rice wasn;t over a dollar more per order. But, I don’t complain. I only eat here when I can afford it, and I have not once regretted it yet. For 3 bucks, they have a freshly made lemonade slushy. HUGE portion, can definitely be divided into 2. I have never sat in and ate, but have wanted to for a long time now. I have always order take out for pick up or delivery. Either way, they’re VERY fast. 15−20mins fast. Other than the tincy overpriced menu, my only other complaint is that they’re cash only and they aren’t on any of those online ordering website(ex. Grubhub). If they were, I would probably order far more often out of it simply being more convenient.

I went here for a quick lunch during the weekday. I had passed by the place often, and had overheard from others that it was«decent», but I had no idea it’d be this bad. As a place which touts itself as Chinese-Latin American, I went with little expectation. Even then, my hopes were dashed when I was served a plate of overcooked eggplant slop on re-fried sweet and sour chicken. The eggplant was so overcooked that I couldn’t eat it past a few ghastly mouthfuls. Served in large quantities, it looked like it had been hastily shoveled on the plate. Don’t come here. Period.

This place is one of the better restaurants in Washington Heights. It’s cheap, fast, and the food is edible. I like how this restaurant serves both Dominican food and Chinese food. The diverse menu puts this place ahead of Empire Szechuan Noodle House, but it’s not outstanding.

Best chicken fried rice I have had in a while, which is great because it is one of my favorite things to eat, and also one of the things I am pickiest about. I love that everyone speaks Spanish(they’re Chinese). The place is itself is all right, but not that nice. I only order for take out. I do agree with other reviewers that the food is slightly overpriced.
