Dr Lee has CHANGED MY LIFE. I know it sounds dramatic-​but its true. I was SO afraid of acupuncture, but he has made me a believer and made it NOT scary at all! GREAT office-​and he is just a JOY to work with!

I’ve had morning sickness and nausea around the clock 24.7. I’ve spent all day on the bathroom floor retching and dry gagging and have been feeling horrible for the last week, progressively getting worse. I was desperate for relief. I’ve tried ginger, lemon, apple cider vinegar, seabands… you name it, I’ve tried it. I found Dr. Lee and decided to try acupuncture. When I went into the office, my nausea was at an 8. After the needles at certain points, it instantly went down to a 2, then a 0. After treatment, it remained at a 0 and it has been the most relief I’ve ever had the whole day and am actually feeling great. Loved the clean rooms with dimming lights, soft music, and heating lamp. Really helps holistically. If you are looking for a reliable person/​acupuncture place, you must book an appt here with Dr. Lee.

Dr. Lee was awesome. Very attentive and skilled at his craft. I went in with a cold and felt better immediately and was almost 100% better within 24hrs. The location is very convenient and the office is clean and you get private rooms (unlike some of the shared room practices).

Dr. Lee is AMAZING! Ansgar is very knowledgeable and makes you feel at ease from the start. I was in a car accident and had been seen by several md’s and prescribed many meds w/​horrible side effects. I had multiple therapies and there was talk of surgery. A girlfriend recommended I try acupuncture, and I decided to see Dr. Lee on her recommendation. I loved him from the start. After a few acupuncture with massage treatments I started noticing a difference in my symptoms, so I kept going. Soon after, I was able to completely stop my meds, so no more side effects. Fast forward 6 months… Neck pain is gone. Numbness in my arm, gone! Back pain is almost nil… Most importantly I’m post-​accident surgery free. My headaches have stopped completely, and I am sleeping better than I ever remember. I even notice I get sick a lot less since going to see him for regular treatments. I actually feel Ansgar has helped so many more things than I initially went into see him for. He really is a healer of body and mind!

So happy I trusted these reviews and got treated here. I’ve been struggling with pain and limited motion for a number of months due to arthritis in my neck and have tried other acupuncturists, physical therapy and a chiropractor. Despite all these efforts, there was no noticeable change until Dr. Lee put needles into me, when things seemed to loosen up immediately. He has a different system than other acupuncturists I’ve used and I trust it will continue to be helpful. I’d had no hope and was getting cranky so this was important. Also, he’s pleasant and delightful.

I first head about Dr. Lee from my neurologist. Upon her recommendation, I have come to learn that Dr. Lee is an incredible acupuncturist. He is compassionate and listens to the patient. He works diligently to solve the patient’s ailments and is not satisfied until the patient is improving to a state where he/​she is a thousand times better than when he/​she first met him. I would recommend Dr. Lee to anyone and everyone who is looking for either medicine to complement their Western medicine or as an alternative to Western medicine.

I have been getting acupuncture for sometime from Dr Lee and I have to that I am able to sleep better at night. I do not feel as irritable before my menstrual cycle. He is super attentive with all my needs

Dr. Lee is so helpful. I had issues with my back and neck from working out, he gave me a sports massage and acupunture. It was intense and the outcome was better than I expected. I Will continue to see him

This past Spring I decided to try acupuncture with Ansgar (Dr. Lee) on the recommendation from a good friend. I had been contemplating acupuncture to treat a woman’s issue that I had for a about 6 months. I was a bit skeptical at first but went all in with an open mind. Here’s my story:
Ansgar is the ultimate professional with very good bed side manners! His passion for eastern medicine is infectious and readily available to share his knowledge and offer readings so that his patient becomes educated about how lifestyle changes and balance enhances one’s health the natural way. I purchased a six week treatment and he prescribed Chinese herbs and a wash for two treatments during his care. The herbs are very potent and I would recommend on a pill format as opposed to tea because it can leave a strong aftertaste in the mouth.
Along the way when I would come in for treatments, Ansgar treated my coughing related to allergies/​Asthma if I were having a bad day and the cough would stop and I would feel my lungs functioning better. It was incredible. Another time, I was in a bit of pain due to foot pain and while treating me for my women’s issue, he relieved the pain on my foot by adding extra needles to open the energy in my body. The pain was immediately relieved and honestly, had someone said that to me – I would not have believed it, but having experience it, I am a convert to Acupuncture.
I returned to my gynecologist for my annual exam and she was impressed how well am doing and most importantly – the diagnosis came back as being cleared!!! THIS WOULD NOT have happened without the treatment from Ansgar– I know because my doctor tried for six months before without any luck.
What I like about Ansgar is that he is honest, direct, friendly and gets deep into your medical history like the internist doctor and explains along the way how everything is interconnected to energy and what treatment he will use to unblock energy. He goes the extra mile every time I see him and I HIGHLY recommend him to anyone who needs care.
His prices are beyond reasonable and the place is neat and relaxing. HIGHLY recommended.

My first experience with Ansgar (Dr.Lee) surpassed my expectation. I went there for women’s issue of severe cramps a while ago. At first, he thoroughly checked my medical history and symptoms and gave me an acupuncture treatment along with massage therapy. Ansgar is very professional, knowledgeable, and friendly! I felt instantly relieved after the treatment from him.
I would definitely come back for another treatment once I get a new insurance or perhaps as a cash patient. Unfortunately, my current insurance coverage for acu isn’t that good.

I started going to Dr Lee upon recommendation from my aesthetician. I was experiencing severe rib pain caused by my allergies/​subsequent coughing. I was on 8 different medications and had tried 14 different ones by the time I went to my first acupuncture appointment. I was frustrated because I was taking so many medications and didn’t felt better. I was ready to try anything and I was happy Dolma sent me to Dr Lee. After a couple of sessions my rib pain subsided and after a few sessions I was able to take myself off of most of the other medications I was taking for my allergies. Dr Lee is very knowledgable and has definitely helped me tremendously with my health issues.

Allergy season got nothin on Dr. Lee’s needles. I got married May 9^th, had all the runny nose, itchy red eyes, and that wasn’t gonna happen on my wedding day. Especially in front of the cameras. 2 days before the big day, my allergies were horrible. The red and itchy eye was the worse. Visited the place from a recommendation of a friend. Definately worth the $$$. I was hesitate about a random dude sticking needles in me, but the allergy medicine was not working. allergy medicine is pretty pricey too, so I thought y not give it a try, already spent like $ 50 on zyrtec, and it wasnt helping much. Went for a session, and it was a savior!!! No red eye or itchy eye on my wedding day. Best thing I ever spent my money on. Definately going back to hopefully get rid of everything permanently.

I have been coming here for massage and acupuncture ever since i was referred by my friend. I am currently learning muay thai and have accumulated many injuries that has not been properly healed. His acupuncture and massage has helped gotten rid of my pain and restored my movement in my lower back and neck which has plagued me for many months. I highly recommend him to anyone who is experiencing any pain!

Went there for seasonal allergy treatment. I have been suffered with red, itchy eyes and sinus congestion. It was so severe I wasn’t able to breath.
He needled on my extremities and I got immediate result from it. My eyes felt much better and my sinus opened up.

I went to Ansgar for some old injuries, and he was extremely thorough in his treatments. He always asks questions to gage where your level of pain is during each session, ensuring that progress is being made. He showcases his expertise and knowledge in his actual application of the needles, knowing where to target specifically based on the pain you’re having. He also uses other methods; massage or Chinese cupping to help supplement the treatment. I highly recommend him to anyone who is working to relieve old injuries or just day to day stress.

I just had my 2^nd session of acupuncture with Ansgar last week! I’ve always been skeptical about acupuncture. Wasn’t sure how safe or effective it was. However I’m still alive so I decided to write one of my very few reviews.
My back has been hurting me for years due to poor ergonomics. And I also developed pain on my wrist and knees. I’ve always been super scared of needles and the idea of needles staying in my body for more than a min was definitely pushing it. But my friend told me about this place and how you don’t really feel it and it WORKS!
So on my first session Ansgar explained everything to me about acupuncture, went through step by step what he was going to do, gave me «homework» (yes he have me homework) which were many different stretching excerises that would strengthen my back and arms. He would talk to you while working so it took me by huge surprise that he was already done! I barely felt it! All I felt was a flick! And then he would ask you if you still feel the pain. And it was like magic, the pain went away but I was noticing pain else where. He said that it was because now he took away the pain from the spot that was hurting me most so I feel the other areas more. There was a name for it… But I don’t remember.
Now after the 2^nd session the pain on my knees are completely gone, my wrist I still feel a little when I’m using it in a bad angle. (I work in a dental office). He says my back will take a few sessions because I have huge knots. (I’ve been told for years now by every masseuse I go to)
So I’m looking forward to my third session. He does a combination of needles and massaging. I’m still in shock how fast it works! But you need to be consistent with it. Can’t expect to do it once and voilà all gone.

Immediately upon walking in the room the first time, I knew I was in the hands of a trusted professional who truly cares about his patients. Dr. Lee has guided me back to balance and he has helped me overcome conditions that western medicine has never addressed. He always goes the extra mile and is very knowledgable about the human body, particularly women. His positivity and cheerful spirit always brightens my day, which is always a boost when you’re not feeling well.
As my first experience with acupuncture, I’m incredibly impressed with Dr. Lee’s ability to read the signs of the human body to diagnose and treat the issue. I strongly recommend Dr. Lee to anyone who is curious about acupuncture, has any health issues, or anyone just looking to maintain balance in their lives.

I’ve been a loyal patient of Dr. Lee’s for over a year through herbs and acupuncture. he had successfully treated me for back pain, ITB inflammation, tendinitis, sleep and digestion issues. I am a very difficult patient to handle in any of my doctors books as I bombard them with questions and details. Ive had a few health problems the past few years that led to multiple office visits and a lot of medication that didn’t seem to be helping. I went to Ansgar and he took the time to listen to my health history. Ive always been skeptical of acupuncture but decided to give it a try because I was tired of taking medicine. Im so glad I did because Ansgar explained to me how harmful medicine can be to my body in the long run. After a few session, i immediately felt a difference. Alot more of a difference than when I was taking medicine.

I’ve been to several acupuncturists and Dr. Lee is one of the best! I was really struggling in NYC before I left because I was trying to move and had a terrible pain in my hip flexor that even yoga was making worse. Each of Dr. Lee’s treatments were a little different, he explained, helping to resolve the problem from a different angle, and he gave me homecare instructions and how to strengthen the area to prevent future relapses. In only four treatments the pain was gone, and I really appreciate how he took the time to make sure I was cared for both now and later. My only regret is that I can’t see him anymore after moving to Oregon, but if you are nearby, I highly recommend him!
