I came in with low expectations, not knowing what to expect and came out loving this show! I really didn’t know much about Bruce Lee at all-​it tells about how his childhood was like (with SO many good flashback scenes with his dad, who was a GREAT actor in this show, btw!!). It talks about meeting his wife, his struggles with finding an acting part where he as an Asian doesn’t get a crappy/​stereotypical role and how he treats his own kids in comparison to how his father treated him.
There’s so many poignant and moving moments in this play that runs for 2 hours (with a 15 minute intermission). You’ll laugh, tear up and reconnect with your childhood… and you’ll empathize with him through his struggles and be inspired by his dreams.
