Kristen Sasser, Labor Support Doula

Kristin Sasser is amazing. She is an absolute godsend. The first time I met Kristin I could sense her warmth, comfort and calm. I knew she was exactly what my husband and I were looking for in a doula. During my pregnancy she was always available to answer any of my questions and put my mind at ease. During my labor and delivery she kept me calm, explained everything that was happening, helped keep my labor pains in check and generally provided incredible encouragement and support. After delivery Kristin was there to make sure my little one latched on properly which was a huge concern of mine. And when I got home from the hospital Kristin checked on me and she has continued to be a wonderful resource for a me as a new mom. I highly recommend Kristin!!!

I wholeheartedly recommend Kristin Sasser as a labor and support doula. I cannot stress how crucial Kristin was to my having a positive birth experience. Kristin brings years of experience to her work and she has attended literally hundreds of births.
I was very anxious about birth and Kristin’s demeanor, skill and guidance helped me get to a place of calm where I was able to be fully present and actually enjoy the experience of having my daughter. She also supported my husband in a way that allowed him to be fully present and to support me far better than he would have had we not had her guidance.
In addition to her support at my labor, she guided me through many aspects of my pregnancy and was often better able (and more willing) to answer my questions than my OBs were.
Kristin has no agenda and will support whatever you choose regarding natural vs medicated birth as well as all other aspects of your birth. I will certainly use Kristin again should I have another child and she will remain a part of our lives regardless.

Kristen Sasser is an amazing labor support doula. We used her for both of our children’s births and each time our doctors and NYU hospital staff were very impressed (as were we). She coached me to give birth naturally after being induced with pitocin both times, and was the right mix of assertive and supportive throughout the entire process. I highly recommend her to anyone hoping to have a natural birth without pain medication.
