I forgot how good Krispy Kreme is! My coworker brought in 2 dozen glazed donuts today for the office. They were delicious! Normally a glazed donut is not my first choice but these were so tasty and moist. I could have eaten a whole box! I might have to stop there again on my way home tomorrow

Best doughnut I’ve ever had in my life. Melts in your mouth. Tastes amazing when heated up at home.

I came here for the first time for National Donut Day, and I must say, this is wayyy better than Dunkin Donut or any other donuts that I’ve tried. It was so light and fluffy, whereas the others tend to be more hard. Even though they were giving out free donuts, the lines went by pretty quickly too. I gave it four stars though because the flavors I tried were a tad bit too sweet. I got strawberry shortcake for my sister and glazed with lemon filling for myself. The lemon was too tangy for my liking and my sister felt like hers was too sweet. But we both agreed that the donut itself was fantastic. So I would recommend you try their original glazed instead.

I am a regular customer buying donuts from the Penn Station KKD for my colleagues. Most of my experience are positive but today is bad day. It appears that the staff who took my order did not his duty very well. After I reacted«six, assorted» three times, his coworker had to explain it to his ear as «six donuts with variety». When I walked out, I saw the un-closed box and flying-around donut in the bag. And there is no chocolates donuts as I asked. Here comes the good part, when I ask the girl to replace them with two chocolates, she used bare hand to take two back to the shelf and two new one in. I really do not want anyone touch my donut without glove.

Three starts overall, but five stars for their original glazed donuts! First time I had the original glazed donut and TIP: ask for them to warm up the glazed donuts) ITSGONNAMAKEIT10x better The glazed donuts are not too big and they are supeeeer soft when warmed up. I have tried their other flavours but it’s too sweet. Like the Oreo one with cream inside was WAYYY too sweet and the cookie dough one was WAYYY too sweet. I would come back only for their original glazed ones. The others are too sweet. Doughnut plant and dough donuts are much much better

Donuts & customer service are both stellar. Never a complaint except for the fact that Penn Station is a filthy disgusting hell hole, other than that though…

I love the Penn Station Krispy Kreme. I mean, it’s just like any other Krispy Kreme. Service is nice, fast, and efficient. Their donuts and coffee are great. I come here fairly often when passing by in Penn Station for a sweet treat. This is probably my shortest review ever.

We wanted a very late night snack and found the Krispy Kreme downstairs from MSG in Penn Station open for business Surprisingly they were hot and fresh even at 2am Just when I begin to think Duncan is the best donuts, Krispy Kreme pulls me back in and wins the prize Try this location for the ability to tell a cool story! NYC’s only spot to score Krispy Kreme treats — and totally worth venturing into the depths of Penn Station to get them. While they lack a «Hot Now» light at this location, the donuts are still always fresh-tasting and a delightful decadent breakfast(or dinner, or snack) to enjoy on your train travel out of Penn Station. Solid iced tea as well.

Solid glazed donuts! If you grew up with Krispy Kreme, these donuts are the sentimental childhood good. The glazed donuts are really light and not overly sweet. I can have multiple donuts in one sitting. The other flavors are just okay. And some are just too sweet. A drawback of this location is the staff and efficiency. You get a mixed batch of experiences with the staff because some are friendly but some are just plain rude. The ordering and line is also set up inefficiently and it takes you ages just to order and pay.

I had the glazed doughnut because it was free. I can’t say I ever enjoyed glazed doughnuts besides the one time I had it freshly out of the fryer. But this wasn’t bad. I can definitely taste the difference between a glazed doughnut from here versus dunkin dounuts.

Whenever I’m at Penn Station, I always have to stop at Krispy Kreme for one of their incredible doughnuts! Unfortunately there are none in NJ. :(So it’s a treat that I allow myself when here. My all time favorite is the basic chocolate frosted with the white cream filing. Damn tasty! :)

KK Donuts dominates DD Donuts. Enough Said. No competition. There are thousands if not tens of thousands of DD locations in NYC. but ONLYONE Krispy Kreme??? WHYYYYYYY??? And of course. it’s located right in Penn Station in a tiny little booth. –_– I wish I can magically change all the DD locations into KK. T_T The only donut I’ll ever need from KK is their glazed. Simple. Classic. Fluffy. Delicious donut.

I grew up in Boston, where there is yet to be a Krispy Kreme. Thus, I never quite understood what all the excitement is about. The only time I’ve tried these doughnuts was once in Japan(had a yummy green tea one that is probably far from the traditional KKs that people rave about) and another time when others brought them back from out of town(at which point they were already cold, somewhat stale, and not too desirable). Seeing as this is the only KK in Manhattan and I happened to be waiting for my train, I decided it was time to get some KK and see if I’d be blown away. After trying the original glazed and the cinnamon, I’ve decided these are some solid donuts. I agree they’re better than those at Dunkin Donuts. But they were cold and for 7am didn’t taste super fresh. I wasn’t a huge fan of how dense they were, I’d definitely prefer something more fluffy. Also, flavors were pretty standard. With all the new gourmet doughnut shops popping up in the city, I don’t know why I would go out of my way to walk through the madness that is Penn Station for a doughnut. On another note, prices are great! $ 1.20 each. I had two and that was enough sweetness in one morning for me.

What the heck, there’s a Krispy Kreme in Penn Station. Of all places. They sure get a lot of business though, which is great for them and great for donut lovers of Penn Station. Of course, Penn Station is extremely hard to navigate, but once you find it… you’re in love. They ran out of the salted caramel donut(sad), but I opted for the filled Krispy Kreme Donut with Krispy Kreme filling. The filling is basically frosting, but if you love frosting, I would not object at all. The donut is just much different from a Dunkin Donuts donut. It’s much krispier(haha, get it?) and definitely fried with a different oil. It’s certainly not a cake donut either, so if you’re into that, wouldn’t recommend it. Like I said, once you find it — it’s a gold mine.

Okay I’m from this south where krispie Kremes originated so I have had donuts right off the conveyor belt. But understand, it’s only the glazed. Krispie Kreme donuts are better than dunkin donuts and Doughs(19th and 6ave)… They are so compactable. Eating 3 krispie kremes donuts is like have one regular donut elsewhere… My only complaint with Krispie Kremes(KK) is there acronym. Since they originated in the south, I feel it’s an enuendo of some sort or a homage to the Klu Klux Klan… For this, I took off a star because it just doesn’t sit well with me.

Tucked away inside Penn Station on the Amtrak level is where you’ll find the one and only Krispy Kreme in NYC. It was a bit of a trek for me to find but once found, the choir sang its tunes at the sight of the yummy pillowy goodness called donuts here! The original glazed is by far the best, although others like the vanilla and chocolate glazed come in close. The experience of biting into the donut is an experience on its own. It’s deliciously magical, firmly crusted from the glaze yet amazingly soft once your teeth sinks into the donut’s core … It’s not to be missed for all foodies out there!

Cost me 11 $ for a box of 12… all hail THEBESTDOUGHNUTSEVER! Lol

Situated in the dungeon-like cellar section of Penn Station(if you’re a NY commuter, you’ll know what I’m referencing to), this Krispy Kreme branch has the dubious distinction of sadly being the lone franchise in the state(yes, what better location than Penn Station :(). Armed with a groupon offer of $ 20 for $ 10, I begrudgingly made my way to Penn Station to buy some doughnuts. Navigating the masses, I made my way to this lone doughnut oasis and quickly made my selections for two dozen doughnuts which comprised of various quantities of original glazed, sugar doughnut, cinnamon bun, glazed chocolate cake, glazed raspberry filled, chocolate iced Kreme-filled, chocolate iced custard-filled, and Brownie Batter. All of the doughnuts were tasty, the highlights were: 1. Brownie Batter: Listed as being a limited edition offering this was very tasty. I have a sweet tooth so the overall sweetness level was fine with me, but I can see where others would have a bit of a problem, considering the chocolate icing, the chocolate chips, and the chocolate ganache filling inside. Nonetheless chocolate lovers(like me) would love this one! 2. Chocolate Iced Kreme-filled: A nice milk chocolate glaze but the real special part was the«Kreme» filling that tasted so much like the cream filling in a Twinkie. That alone was pretty darn awesome. 3. Glazed Raspberry-Filled: Excellent doughnut. I found the outer glazed shell slightly crunchy from the glaze and the raspberry jam was sweet and not artificial tasting. Krispy Kreme’s doughnuts are very good; slightly better than Dunkin Donuts doughnuts which are pretty darn solid IMO. They’re definitely not to the quality of the artisanal offerings from places like Dough or Doughnut Plant, but considering price per doughnut/value you really can’t go wrong with Krispy Kreme.
