Kitchen Coach NYC (William Kent) is a design consultant that customizes his services to your needs, from simply advice on how to get started through comprehensive design and project management. His background experience as art school graduate, graphic designer, chef, carpenter and contractor uniquely qualifies him to coach you through the maze of remolding or building a new kitchen.

History

Established in 2006.

After many years of taking on remodeling projects in NYC, doing all the designing and most of the construction work on my own, I decided I would dedicate my services to «design» only. That is not to say I don’t still roll up my sleeves and do some of the work when needed.

I graduated art /​design school. Worked as an art director for several years in the Midwest. I moved to New York to change careers and became a chef, opening my own catering service for private dinner parties. I later began building wine cellars in private homes and found myself being in demand to design and remodel residences. Due to my experiences in food prep I discovered I was particularly well suited to designing kitchens. making them both beautiful and unique as well as extremely functional.
