I had a dress taken in, sides, armpits, shoulders, and a hem. Fit like a glove! A hem on a sequined gown, again, perfect. The woman who works (owner?) was sweet, accommodating and an excellent seamstress! I would recommend her to anyone for any kind of tailoring. As far as the price, it’s NYC, isn’t it?

I had a couple of shirts made there and had no problems they came out perfect to the fit! I would recommend them to anyone.

The tailoring here has been excellent in my experience. I’ve asked for multiple pieces on a rush order (which costs slightly more) and they have been perfectly on time. I would definitely recommend this place.

Two custom suits and three custom shirt package, and later two additional custom made pants.
I’m reminded of the saying, You pay for everything you get, but don’t get everything you pay for.
The suit and shirt package was a great deal. I still wear everything and it’s some of the most comfortable clothing I own.
Then came trouble. A year later I returned for a second pair pants to match one of the suits. The measurements were the same but not the fabric. $ 300 for pants that don’t match the suit I wanted them for.
A year later I return for a second pair of pants to match the second suit. Not only is the fabric different — meaning inferior. I’ve surely gained some weight but why does the original clothing fit but not the most recent? And after two adjustments. Nevertheless $ 300 for ill fitting pants of inferior fabric.

Expensive, but top quality tailoring done here…
Had to have some major (resizing pants and jackets) work done on a few suits after loosing some weight… Also had my girlfriends gown for my brothers wedding altered here. The proprietors take their time to measure your garments carefully where they lay on you, and they fit like a charm. My suits were done within two days and the supplied me with a brand spanking new garment bag to bring them home in. The price is slightly excessive, but the price warrants the good work they did… plus when dealing with expensive suits, I want to take them to a place that will provide that top notch work.
Proprietors are extremely friendly and patient. Would recommend for big and small jobs.

You get what you pay for. The custom suits are comparatively cheap at $ 800 because they come with a free custom shirt. On the upside, turnaround is fast at a week or two because the labor is local (not outsourced to China) and workmanship is solid (stitching, materials, construction). The downside is that the kindly Asian gentleman fails to design a suit/​shirt that truly moves with you.
My suit jacket and shirt fits fine when standing at attention with my arms down. Once I reach for the keyboard (or anything at all), the whole thing starts bunching up far more than it should.
So here’s the compromise: pay less than half price for one-​dimensional fit, or shell out for whats expected of a custom tailor.

I didn’t get much done here except a few buttons sewn back on my dilapidated coat.
A kindly Asian gentleman had it all ready in about 30 minutes (I said I would come back– may have been sooner. $ 12 for 4 buttons).
I asked about tailored suits. He told me they begin at about $ 750 for a unbranded suit. They also have a host of branded material too though. Small shop, could be worth checking out in future!
