I love this Kate Spade store especially the little stationary spot they have near the entrance of the store! However, I was looking at the bags with my mom and the security guard seemed to have trust issues. He followed us (thinking that we would shoplift) as we looked at a bag. Most likely won’t come back to this Kate Spade store.

I love kate spade and this one in SOHO was amazing. The floor was very spacious and easy to look around. The customer service was excellent! They are happy to help you with what you are looking for. I have always adored kate spade but this store made me fall in love all over again.

I’m not one for boutique stores but I with this one I have to say I’m impressed. The friendly colorful atmosphere makes one want to keep returning and stay for an extended amount of time (at least to this location). For me personally I love the mission or message that it seemed to give off for me, «Own what you own with free expression and make it valuable with its value to you.» I focused more on the little messages and constellation signs on the accessories, and the services that they offer to customize their products to your liking, it all screamed «find yourself in our stuff!». I like a store that basically tries to identify with you whether or not that was the intention. Even tho most of the stuff isn’t really my style, if I wish to spoil myself once in a while and I’m in the area, I’d pay this one a visit.

The staff at this store is amazing! I was so impressed by how friendly everyone was and eager to help me find the perfect wallet! I was on vacation here a few weeks back and the gentleman who helped me was AWESOME! I am one of those weirdos who has to test the zippers on everything I buy, and he was so patient to help me find the perfect wallet and let me test every zipped until I found the perfect one! I was even more impressed when he remembered my name when I was leaving the store! Everyone should shop here!

Everybody was helpful, they had great sales, and I overall had a wonderful experience. I also spent way too much money but, hey you can never have to many handbags

I rushed from Wall Street to soho I wasn’t sure what store to pop into to do my Mother’s Day shopping but for some reason I ended up walking straight to Kate Spade and I got there 30mins before they closed. The employees were very helpful and not rude and didn’t rush me to pick anything and plus the Store was pack with allot of shoppers but the ladies made sure I had someone helping me. The store is beautiful and I need to make a trip back to shop for myself. Such great service 100%

I dig their style. Its extremely on par with an urban lifestyle. Many cute purses in desireable color combinations, embossed leathers and easy to carry styles. This beautiful merch is surprisingly affordable. Good price points. The items on sale are oftentimes marked with hefty price reduction which makes me happy.

I’m a total sucker for the whole Kate Spade aesthetic. Sadly my (usually Target brand) pocketbook can’t afford a lot of it. But that doesn’t mean I don’t love investigating and window shopping (and sometimes pulling the trigger) at her shops. This is one location in particular that I love.
This store is one of the larger KS stores I’ve been to so browsing is fun. Clothing, jewelry, watches, stationary and office supplies, and of course handbags are all represented here and come in a cavalcade of colors to choose from.
The best part is the sale section. Since it’s a large store it’s got a lot of stock so there is usually a good variety of sale items to choose from. Just an FYI though – if you see something you like in the store check the website too. One handbag I really liked was a good $ 30 cheaper online (+you get a coupon for signing up for their mailing list). Not sure if that happens regularly but better to be safe than sorry if you’re being thrifty!
Staff here has always been really helpful and not pushy. I don’t feel as if I’m being judged for browsing but if I do have a questions they’re happy to help.

I would visit this Kate Spade location ANY Day over the Madison flagship store — the service is just so much friendlier and less «sales-​y.» The reps here are more genuine, caring, and less pushy when it comes to following you around or trying to sell you on the latest and greatest item. I’m already a Kate Spade fanatic as is, but the fact that the sales reps here always make me feel at home is a nice added bonus. My most recent purchase is their black Becky coat (the first clothing purchase I’ve made at Kate Spade) and I am in heaven whenever I wear it outside in the cold. Quality, design, durability, visual appeal, and excellent customer service — it’s EXACTLY what I look for when shopping for name brands!

One of the joys of moving to NYC; finally being able to shop at the mothership in person. KS has been my favorite designer for years; classic designs, quality products, and worth every penny.
This particular shop had an okay selection, and the staff was very friendly. My favorite part was when the manager offered me a job because I seemed to know more about her products than her employees (I referred to each item by their proper names.)
I know I’ll be back again, but I’ll have to check out the selection at the shop on Madison.

I absolutely love Kate Spade and it’s beautiful, bright colors! Service here is helpful and welcoming. There’s a huge selection to choose from and they keep their sale items toward the back so don’t forget to take a look because they are quite fabulous finds.

Nice store with so so sales associates. When i was finally offered help, the girl was super friendly. But it took them 20 minutes to approach me for help! They will only help you if you look like you’re going to buy something, otherwise they won’t give you the time of day!

I was looking at bangles when a staff member approached me asking if she could help. I asked how much and she went and found me brand new ones so I could see the «non display» ones and gave me prices. When I decided on the ones I wanted she took them to the register with my name on them while I continued to shop.
When I was done shopping and approached the register, I was greeted by name and my beautiful gold bangles were awaiting me!
The wrapping/​packaging are half the fun! It’s like Tiffany’s — well done Kate Spade! A round green and turquoise box complete with a brown bow and a fun bright pink bag with tissue paper. I loved carrying it around the city.

Aside from Fifth Avenue’s Tiffany’s, this flagship store Kate Spade on Broome Street exhibits impeccable customer service. The associates demonstrate superb communication skills and upbeat personality to go above and beyond for customers. I was even greeted by the security guard who also serves as a door man.
I love their simplicity for stationery, business card pouches, and wallets. Their clothing states quality amid the high exorbitant prices. I would love a Kate Spade 8.5″ X 11″ leather portfolio but all I can do is dream…

This is supposed to be a ‘flagship’ Kate Spade and I went quite out of my way to visit it on a recent trip to New York. I was looking for several things, including a small leather wallet made in their trademark green leather.
I was very disappointed by the size of the store, as well as its merchandise selection. The Mister took a lap of the store and asked, «But where are all the purses?» He had a point. The fact of the matter was, there just wasn’t that much in the store at all. I had money burning a hole in my pocket and I’ve always been able to spend it at Kate Spade, but not this store. About a third of the floor space was taken up with clothing, but most of it was… well, kitsch holiday sweaters and mittens with clever sayings. The handbag section seemed to focus on fads, not the classics Kate Spade does so well.
I guess I just expected more from a ‘flagship.‘
As far as customer service goes, well… we didn’t encounter any. Several girls in sweaters too small (and not in a flattering way, but more of an optimistic way) rushed past with boxes and bags, but no one made eye contact or offered help.
I ended up getting what I was looking for from Kate Spade, but at Nordstrom.

How I love your classic designs, your reasonable prices, and quality items. I’m serious. Some of my KS bags are 10 years old and look brand spanking new.
This store is always on my list of go to places when I’m in NYC. The staff is very friendly, and will try to find you the items you’re looking for, even in other stores. A few years ago I wanted a specific necklace (trust me, it’s a beautiful necklace. It was worth tracking down.) and this store was the only one who had it. Since I live in Maryland, I asked if they would hold it. This was on a Thursday when I called, and I wasn’t going to get there until Saturday. But guess what, they held it for me. Most stores won’t do that, but they did.
That is how you create customers for life. I don’t care if I’ve relocated myself to Tokyo. I will still fly back to buy things from here!
