I was thrilled when a health food store finally opened in this area. Unfortunately, while I do shop here on occasion, I can’t recommend Karrot as much as I would like to.
The selection is mixed, and focusses heavily on prepackaged items. There are no bulk bins for fruit, muesli, nuts, etc. The selection of tofu and fake-​meat veggie items is really small.
It’s definitely a good start, and a welcome addition that the neighborhood was definitely lacking, and I like the feel/​attitude of the place. But the selection and choices need to be a lot wider and broader before I can be really excited about it.
