My services range from talk therapy to mind-body therapy, and stress management in both English & Japanese.
My specialty is treating depression, anxiety, PTSD, and interpersonal trauma, including domestic violence, sexual assault, and childhood abuse.
Both psychotherapy and mind-body therapy aim to increase your sense of well-being. Depending on your needs and condition, you can choose either one approach.

Kaori S.
Business Owner
Kaori is a NY State licensed psychotherapist (LMHC #1 905 – 1) with MA in Counseling & Guidance from NYU. She has worked at a variety of settings including a non-profit agency, college counseling office, and outpatient clinics. She received additional training in psychodynamic psychotherapy, trauma-focused therapy, and mindfulness-based cognitive therapy. Her specialty is treating depression, anxiety, interpersonal trauma, PTSD, and stress management.
Another aspect of her life’s work is yoga. Kaori is a yoga practitioner and teacher, and completed 200 hour training at Integral Yoga Institute and the advanced 300 hour training at ISHTA Yoga in NYC. She completed additional training in prenatal yoga, trauma sensitive yoga, and restorative yoga.
Kaori has a strong interest and passion about utilizing my knowledge and techniques of yoga to help people achieve their physical and emotional balance.
Kaori is bilingual in English and Japanese.
