I had an amazing first time experience with Kae Lee’s pick up and delivery service. I just moved to a new place and got really lazy about laundry, so I ended up having them pick up a whopping 34 pounds! They were on time, super fast, and absolutely the friendliest people. Everything is clean, folded perfectly, and arrived just in time for me to go to work.
I’m very happy with this service and will probably use it again in the future.

Had a great experience with their drop off and laundry service. I arranged for pick up around 5pm and had my laundry there by 6pm.
The next morning, my clothes were dropped off by 9am. Nicely folded, fresh but not an excessive smell of detergent. My Unilocal check in deal was acknowledged without a problem and the laundry bag included is very sturdy.
No complaints for this place, great price for overnight service, and friendly workers.

They have some shady relationship with Trrigr, where neither will issue a refund and will say to call the other.

I use them in my trrigr app and they have been great so far. Nigel, the owner, is a very friendly guy and exemplifies what great customer service is. He comes to my apartment to pick up my things and has delivered them back within the next day. For all working people who have trouble making it to the dry cleaners I recommend using them on the trrigr app.

Kae Lee has been in the neighborhood for ever, and is very trust worthy.

Nigel provides some of the best service that I have received here in NYC. He is not only nice to customers but takes the time to get to know everyone and genuinely cares. When customers came in, he knew all of them by name. I got dry-​cleaning and tailoring done and will be back!

Couldn’t agree with Tracey more– what makes this place so wonderful resides wholly in Nigel, the owner. His enthusiasm and friendly vibe instantly cheers up the most dreary of patrons entering his establishment. When you ask Nigel how he’s doing, he’ll always smile wide and say, «I’m blessed!» And you can tell he really means it! As Tracey said in her review, he is a dedicated family man who never forgets a face or a name. He even knows our registered phone # by heart! I willingly pay more to get the service and commitment to quality that Nigel commits to every time I drop off my clothes. Whenever we point out a stain or spot that needs extra attention, Nigel or a member of his staff will tag it and remove it, as requested. That might not sound like much, but I’ve been to MANY a cleaner in this city where that doesn’t happen and I pay just as much as I do here. Give Nigel your business! Kae Lee is the kind of place that makes me love living in NYC. You just can’t get that kind of thing anywhere else!

–I went there to have my jeans fixed (hole where the fabric is used). I had them fixed once before by my previous cleaners in Providence, RI where I lived. I was able to compare. What a poor job they did here!
–I had buttons to be replaced on a leather jacket. Being leather, each button had to be sewn to another button at the back. I gave all original buttons.
They did not used the back buttons (left them in the pocket). I asked them to redo the job, which they did, expect for one button, where they used an ugly and larger white button (they left the correct one in the pocket once again– They find the other ones but not that last one?).
I never went back, and now go to Aspen Cleaners.

The previous reviewer is correct that the owner is a doll. However, the prices here are almost always higher than many of the other close-​by options. And they had a sign in their window for over ten years saying they were offering 40% off for their 40^th anniversary – then for a few years it said 40% off for the bad economy – it seems to have come down recently, but I don’t like that kind of «advertising” – it leaves a bad taste in my mouth. Try the more understated and totally reliable Shu Sang Lee around the corner at 107 West 86^th St., north side of 86^th, just West of Columbus.

The best part about this place is the owner, Nigel. Such a nice guy with 4 kids. A dedicated family man who runs this local, neighborhood business. He knows every customer’s name, their kids’ names and their address by heart. Dry Cleaning is incredibly expensive in NY and Kae Lee is actually reasonable. Not cheap. But more reasonable than all the others.
