Description

Specialties

For almost 20 years, Judge Roy Bean has been dubbed Midtown Manhattan’s «neighborhood bar» where everyone knows your name — literally. Whether you are a first time customer, or a JRB regular, we always treat our guests like family. Our customers are apart of the JRB family — and make up the very fiber of what our establishment is all about.

From the burger patties, to the garlic mayo and the hand-cut fries — we pride ourselves in a menu built with ingredients closest to the earth. No suprises here. Just. pure. goodness.

With 24 beers on tap and 50+ in bottles at all times, we take pride in giving our customers a variety of hand-picked beers for every taste and preference with a variety of classic and seasonal brews.

JRB is also the perfect place to watch sports! With 6 flat screen TV’s — we do our best to make sure everyone gets a view of their hometown teams.

History

Established in 1995.

The original Judge Roy Bean (or as we like to call it — «JRB»), was opened in 1995 and after 19 successful years and we decided to do a face-lift over the summer 2014 and really bring in the theme of the historic Judge Roy Bean back into the vibe of the bar.

At Judge Roy Bean Public House, we have incorporated a lot of time and effort into the design of the establishment. From our rustic 1800’s dairy farm barn wood, 1920’s railway track foot-rest, 1892 45-star American flag, upstate water piped beer taps and Brooklyn family made raw iron stools we kept our tradition of working with local craftsmen! We have also added some new customized architectural elements including our hand-made industrial edison bulb chandelier.
