I am incredibly impressed by this store and the staff. I wandered in the store about a month ago on a business trip to the city and the staff was so helpful and professional. I ended up buying a custom suit which I just picked up this week. The quality of the fabric and tailoring is of the highest level. I am used to buying brands like Loro Piana and Cucinelli, but the Abboud suit is equal, if not better, than the leading Italian brands, plus it’s made in America. I was so pleased that I ordered another jacket and some slacks. All my future suits and jackets will be ordered here. Exceptional Italian-​like quality at a much better price and made in the USA. Tough to beat that combination.
This is a first class establishment with top level staffing. It deserves serious consideration from any guy interested in high-​end fashion.

The Joseph Abboud flagship store is a warm, inviting haberdashery of timeless elegance. It evokes images of the former location for Louis, Boston, where Mr. Abboud apprenticed for twelve years, rising from a part-​time sales associate to buyer and necktie designer in the 1970’s. Later he became an associate director of menswear for Ralph Lauren’s Polo collection. Joseph Abboud’s «trans-​Atlantic look» is Brooks Brothers meets Savile Row (Anderson & Sheppard) with a touch of Neapolitan sprezzatura.
Lila, my «wardrobe consultant,» is a sweetheart. She suggested the Joseph Abboud signature fragrance ($ 65). The bottle’s cap resembles a spool of thread; appropriate since Mr. Abboud’s mother was an accomplished seamstress in Boston’s South End. The cologne, like Joseph Abboud tailored clothing, is proudly made in the U.S.A.
