Founded in 1985 by Jim Hanley and Rich Hafstead, Jim Hanley’s Universe revolutionized the direct market industry with well stocked, well lit and clean stores, and unparalleled customer service. Beginning in 2013, JHU Comic Books continues the legacy of Jim Hanley’s Universe as a new company with new ownership, and the same great staff and management that made JHU America’s best comic shop.
