Dr. Ellis is a specialist in orthodontics for both children and adults and is highly skilled in the latest technological advances in orthodontic care including ceramic clear braces, Invisalign, Invisalign teen, metal braces and digital imaging. Her top priority is to deliver the highest quality of orthodontic treatment possible while giving her patients individualized attention in a warm, comfortable and caring environment.

History

Established in 2006.

After receiving her Bachelor of Science degree in Statistical Sciences from the University of Western Ontario, Dr. Janine Ellis went on to the New York University College of Dentistry on a full scholarship and earned her Doctorate of Dental Surgery degree in 2001. She completed a one-​year general practice residency at Long Island Jewish Medical Center and received her Certificate in Orthodontics from Stony Brook School of Dental Medicine in 2006. Dr. Ellis has completed the Canadian Orthodontic Boards. She is CPR, NERB and Invisalign® certified.

Dr. Ellis was a recipient of numerous accolades and awards through her academic career including the American Association of Orthodontics award. Dr. Ellis served in a leadership capacity in the Alpha Omega International Dental Fraternity, Iota Chapter, where she held offices such as President Emeritus, President, Vice President and Class Representative. She was also a member of the dental student government throughout her training. She is currently a member of the American Association of Orthodontics, Northeastern Society of Orthodontics, American Dental Association, American Association of Woman Dentists, the New York County Dental Society and the New York State Dental Association.
