I don’t usually post reviews– good or bad but I had to write something special about Dr Jacquie. We have visited 4 orthodontists in the past 6 months trying to find one that would work well with my 9 year old daughter and we finally found the perfect one– Dr Jacquie. From the second we walked in the door her team made my daughter feel at ease about her visit. Dr Jaquie was a burst of happiness and energy and made her feel comfortable and at ease with her examination and her various x-​rays. As a parent, she also made me feel so much better by clearly explaining the process of expanders, retainers and braces. She was the best of all the orthos we visited. We traveled from New Jersey to see her and she was well worth the trip. Thanks to her and her entire team my daughter is actually looking forward to getting her expander! A miracle! I highly recommend her for your kids. I might even look into getting Invisalign to fix my teeth;-)

Got teeth whiting on Groupon .I was excited because this was new to me. During my appointment I was told that I was the 4^th or 5^th whitest shade and that I should go up but never to the Whitest because no one does and that it was a gray color so it is undesirable: (.Whatever .I sat through all 4 session and the didn’t fee pain until the 3^rd session. after my appointment I was told how white my teeth was And that it was the second to whitest shade blah blah blah. I for 4 days I stayed away from anyone other than white. Thats 2 days longer than they suggested .My teeth didn’t seem whiter than it was before whiting .the only difference was white streaks that began to fade .By day 7 the white steaks were gone and my teeth looked the same not whiter at all .I called to tell them that I didn’t see results and they said there is noting they could do about that and that it doesn’t work the same or last as long for everyone. Thats true but it should at least be a difference .I told them that if I wanted half white teeth for 3 days I would of went to the supermarket and bought strips there .I would never go back here and suggest you don’t either because it doesn’t work .Its a teeth whiting system there should be a difference regardless

I’m really excited to be starting my Invisalign treatment with Dr. Jackie. My friends and I made a decision to go to four different orthodontist for a consultation. Thereafter, we’d each talk about our experience with each doctor and decide who’d we go to. I found Dr. Jackies website through Invisalign’s top 1% dentist. I emailed the link on her website, I was shocked to receive one back at 9pm that night. Filomena was extremely helpful and knowledgable about the services I requested. Being that I’m studying for the MCATS and help run an entire program at a hospital, I can’t really find time to speak on the phone. Via email, Filomena was able to verify my insurance, receive all required documentation, find out exactly what I wanted, make an appointment and how much it would cost. On my first consultation I was so impressed by the staff, they were on top of everything, there were no grey/​gray areas, we covered how long my treatment was and exactly how much it would cost. Being that my friends and I decided we would not make decisions until we all decided on a dentist, I could not help myself, on the first consultation we did everything (impressions, x-Ray’s, and financials).
I’m excited to be starting my Invisalign journey with Dr. Jackie, I recommend Dr. Jackie to anyone who wants the facts and great personality about their dental outcomes. I recommend her to all my staff at the hospital and also my college peers.
The office looks really nice and most importantly CLEAN !!! The staff are very helpful.

I am fairly displeased with the service I received with Dr. Jacquie’s practice. I purchased a Zoom teeth whitening Groupon and immediately made a reservation at the East Islip location. I was told I had to wait two weeks for availability in East Islip. I was okay with this and looked forward to this date with some trepidation (I heard the procedure was painful for those with tooth sensitivity), so I was actually pretty thankful that I had a couple of weeks to prepare with Sensodyne.
I received a call the day before the appointment, confirming the time and place with me, and then the day finally arrived. I took two Advil just in case it hurt and I showed up promptly at the East Islip location (inside a Cactus Salon). The receptionist informed me that no one from Dr. Jacquie’s office was there yet. So, I waited. And waited. And waited. The receptionist told me she tried to reach her office for me, but couldn’t get a hold of anyone. So, I called them for myself and left a message saying that I was waiting for them and wanted to make sure everything was okay.
I finally got a voicemail from a dental assistant saying that I had an appointment in their Dix Hills location and had now missed it. Um, what? I don’t live anywhere near Dix Hills and never would have made this appointment there. I told her as much and even double-​checked that the confirmation email and voicemail I received said East Islip. She called me back and apologized and said that my appointment WAS in East Islip and they would be there in 20 minutes. Fast forward something more like 30 minutes and they finally arrived. After another 15 minutes of set-​up (mind you… roughly an hour and a half after my original appointment time), I was sitting in the exam chair, placed inside what I believe is a massage/​facial room inside of Cactus Salon. Since their set-​up is portable, the chair was very uncomfortable and I constantly felt like I was sliding off of it. Anyway, the moment arrived and I started my first round of treatment, trying my hardest not to slide out of the chair. It wasn’t too bad and I made it through two additional rounds (both of which were 10 minutes instead of 15). And then was ushered out because the next appointment was waiting right there in the hallway.
I should note that throughout the treatment process, the dentist said I should have come to their Woodbury Office, as their East Islip one is merely a satellite. Then why do you even have it if you’re not proud to be operating out of it?
The results? Well, they were pretty lackluster. The whole process was pain-​free for me, however, my teeth looked like I used maybe half a box of whitening strips… the color was lightened a little bit, but nowhere near the white I’ve seen in before/​after pictures. I feel like between my minimal improvement and the fact that it suspiciously didn’t hurt, I was not given the proper teeth whitening experience (this is not to say I WANTED it to hurt, I just found it suspicious because I’ve been in a decent amount of pain using OTC whitening stuff). I believe that it should have been 4 rounds, 15 minutes each. But since they were running behind due to their own negligence, they skimped on my treatment time and perhaps the whitening solution. I assume that since I was using a Groupon with a reduced price, they felt justified in doing this.
These are all assumptions, however, I have no desire to find out. I feel like this office is a disorganized mess and I refuse to do any further business with them. A few days after my treatment, 6:45AM on a Sunday, I received an email stating that I made a dental appointment with their Woodbury Office at 8:30AM on Monday. At this point, I became familiar with a lot of the negative reviews and I was suspicious that this was an attempt to get me on the hook for an office fee. I very quickly called with a voicemail and made sure to note that I did NOT make this appointment and will NOT be coming to their office. I have not heard from them since, with no explanation or anything, I hope to never hear from them again.
All in all… my teeth aren’t damaged, I’m in no pain… my teeth are slightly lightened. Not worth the money I paid, certainly not worth the money I WOULD have paid, but it could have been much worse. Be wary of this office.

My reviews for her have been filtered and I feel awful for others out there not getting to see my horrible experience with her as well as the many others in the filtered section. She should have her license revoked and I would like to help make that happen.

The staff here is amazing! They are always sweet, honest and helpful. The office is clean and spa like, it feels so upscale. They are quick and professional with all services, I have had a consultation, cleaning and traditional braces installed. I love coming here, even for getting my braces tightened, which is unpleasant usually. They always want you to have a great experience, so always be honest and tell them what you want.

I wanted to give an update because Dr. Jackie did reach out to me after this review and try to make things right. I could tell she really does care about her practice and her patients. While you will usually be seen by her associates, she does do all the measurements herself. Does it change the fact that my final checkup and 6 month followup were both with two different dentists that I was meeting for the first time (before writing this review)? Unfortunately not. Perhaps some patients may not find this important to them, but I was very upset by this because I do believe in some sort of continuity of care. At the very least, I felt it important to be able to go over the final results with Dr. Jackie herself. Finishing treatment that day made me feel as if I had been churned out of a factory line. However, I give her a lot of credit for caring enough to see me again. She really does want every patient to be happy with their results and in the end, I would still recommend her to my friends.

Dr. Jackie is an amazing orthodontist. Her office is right in midtown so it’s super convenient to make those morning visits before work. Her receptionist always greets me by name and is very efficient at getting people in and out as quickly as possible.
Dr. Jackie has a couple of assistants that help her out with minor things (x-​ray pics, etc) but she’s always there to do the big stuff and is SUPER nice. I was nervous since I’m really not into the dentist, but she made me feel at ease. Her offices are also equipped with TVs on each treatment chair so you can chill out and watch while you’re waiting.
She’s obviously very knowledgeable and I think she’s toured around talking about Invisalign (she’s a specialist) and when she’s away, her replacement Doctor is the best. He’s super nice and friendly as well.
I would recommend this anyone out there!
