Update: I was contacted by IvyExec’s customer service today asking how they could make amends. I asked to have my account and data deleted from the site, and I rejected an offer for free use of their service for a limited time. They were very quick to delete my account/data today — I’ll give them that much. They also said that they never received the three requests I had submitted to them via their website. I’m improving their rating by one star because of their prompt efforts to rectify once they are aware of an issue, but I’m still generally unsatisfied with how they got my data and how long it took to get their attention.

After seeing a job on Ivy Exec, sending a resume and brief note for the job… IVY EXEC wants me to join and pay a large fee to finish out the application and send it to the actual job source!

Any employment agency that charges fees to get you a job has SCAM written all over it.

This employment agency is not helpful and does not provide any real support to job seakers. It is a scam that just charges your credit card after your ‘free’ trial is up, with no path to cancelling other than removing your credit card. The ‘hand picked’ jobs that were sent to me averaged 11,000 a week, which is not exactly helpful. Stay away, just a big scam.

DO NOT CREATE AN ACCOUNT WITH THIS COMPANY! I tried to apply to a job position on their website, it asked for a credit card, and I was charged $ 254 for a «membership fee»! I have requested my account be deleted and have contacted my credit card company as this charge was not approved nor was I notified. This is a total scam!

You can’t even apply to positions on their job boards with out giving them money. I find jobs on other job boards that I am right for but when I select apply it brings me to their site. I sign up for an account but elect not to have the paid service. I get an email saying that I am not a «qualified candidate to use the site»?
I email the company listing my extensive qualifications and I am told I don’t meet their standard. I am truly convinced the only way to use this site is to buy their service, there is no free job submittals.

I first applied to the free trial membership and now the company just charged me an annual subscription fee automatically.
However, Kevin Ko, customer service rep was fast to respond and promised to five the full refund to me. Great job!
