When I was looking for an apartment one year ago, my experience with brokers was tolerable at best. Some of them couldn’t even be bothered to return my calls. My move-​out date was fast approaching and I still hadn’t found a place yet. I was pulling my hair out, imagining cramming all my stuff in storage and crashing on my friend’s couch. I felt like I was facing off against the entire New York City real estate machine all by myself. I just barely managed to find a place and I still remember it as being one of the most stressful months of my life.
So when I found out I had to move again this year, I was dreading every step of the process. Luckily, I found Iris. I never felt like I didn’t have someone in my corner, trying to make this inherently stressful process as stress-​free as possible. Not only that, she’s a delightful person. Because she’s so laidback, pleasant, and easy to talk to, apartment hunting with her felt like hanging out with a new friend. Don’t even bother shopping around for brokers because you won’t find a better one.

My girlfriend and I were moving to NYC for the first time and thank goodness we came across Iris! From the moment I talked to her on the phone to walking all over NYC to signing the actual lease she was the most humble, genuinely honest broker that I ever came in contact with.
