History

Established in 1954.

My father, Frank Montagnese, started Glen Painting on Long Island in 1954. He built a company entrenched in family tradition with roots dating back to the turn of the century in Italy, when my great grandfather was an artist specializing in church restoration.

Glen Painting grew as my father was a craftsman who took great pride in his work. His commitment to professional and personal service resulted in a great amount of goodwill and many loyal clients. Under my father’s tutelage I also became a skilled craftsman and in 1986 I purchased Glen Painting. I was poised to carry on my family’s painting legacy and planned to add my own expanded vision. I changed the name to Glen Painting & Contracting Inc. We began serving Manhattan and added more services including power washing, carpentry and general contracting.

In 2013 Glen Painting evolved into iPaint and Contract Inc. Today iPaint embraces its heritage while moving into a new modern era!

This includes more crew leadership, streamlined estimating, intelligent scheduling, superior products and a full time office staff. The iPaint business model is designed to exceed expectations making it the première company for all contracting needs.
