Inn New York City

Unfortunately this hotel was booked solid for valentine’s day weekend but with it being rated one of the most romantic hotels in NYC my boyfriend decided to surprise me by celebrating early and took me to Inn New York City for a couple nights. Although we both live in the city, it was a nice change of scenery for the both of us, and we were able to fully enjoy each other’s company without any distractions.
We stayed in the Opera Suite, which is just breathtaking from the moment you step over the threshold. From the baby grand piano, to the crystal chandlier, to the exqusite fireplace it’s hard to acknowledge which feature was my favorite. If those things weren’t enough, our suite had a private balcony off of the bedroom (unheard of in Manhattan), and the bathtub even had Jacuzzi jets! I constantly found myself ooohhhing and ahhing because everywhere I turned there was a another surprise awaiting me. There was an assortment of pastries laid out for us on the counter, as well as a healthy looking fruit basket, and a complimentary bottle of wine waiting for us in the fridge. Little candy dishes on end tables held their own little treats of individually wrapped chocolates and candies.
I don’t know if it was the sheer size of the suite, or perhaps the location but it felt very private. The staff made themselves available to answer any questions we may have had or to fulfill simple requests and they never made us feel like it was an inconvience. With the frigid weather in NYC, we took full advantage of the fireplace both nights, which the host started for us.
It was an absolutely memorable experience and I can’t wait to come back!!!

Stayed here the night we got engaged and it is amazing — huge bed and jacuzzi and every possible chocolate and soap and lotion you could ever want. I don’t know the price and probably don’t want to, but it was a once-​in-​a-​lifetime place. It’s run by two sweet older ladies and has that crazy old, very cool, English aunt feel.
