Manhattans only IHOP Location. Huge space. Service was friendly and the fod as good as we know it from other IHOPs within the US. Food delivery took a while but was still acceptable. We will come back!

went there after a night out with friends, 4 am on a Sunday morning. Sometimes(usually after drinking) what I really, really want is chain diner food right in the middle of manhattan – and their chocolate chip pancakes loaded with syrup and whipped cream really hit the spot. OH and p. s. they have free pancakes for national pancake day coming up – will definitely be hitting that again. :)

Oh you delicious crepes call to me. You perfectly layered dreams of goodness and joy. Shared over friendship and truth. Playing around in my plate drizzled with a sort of heavy vanilla cream, and just a joyful speck of whipped cream to accent them as a hat would to to the finery of noble ladies of year past, crepes you call to me! Crepes which joyfully and bound fully serve my sweet palate. Oh the joy, of crepes.

I went in here on Valentine’s Day, and the host was just rude and had a nasty attitude. She came in with a bottle in her mouth, and honestly, my thing is, don’t come with an unprofessional stank attitude, if you don’t wanna be here. Just quit or suck it up yknow? The waitress Adele was a sweetheart, I adored her the whole time, so kind and sweet and always checked up on us. They were out of the cheesecake pancakes, but other than that, the food was good, clean place, very quiet, homey, the bathroom needed a quick pick me up but other than that, I love this place.

Service sucks, slow and mean waiter, under staffed. Coffee didn’t come and and waited and waited until your diabetes symptoms come and maybe they will give you something.

What can I say that other people haven’t? the service is slow, and the server gave my friends cold coffee yuck! To me the food is mediocre here, as if the pancakes tastes like it’s watered down and it shouldn’t be that why. I do have to say that its a good thing this Ihop location is 24hrs that’s a couple points up, but the service has to be worked on and food preparation… there has been many times where I’ve received my meal cold. I think I’m being too generous by leaving 3 stars, but hey it is 24hrs

This was my first IHOP experience, as in I just wanted to try it. I stumbled upon this particular one, which looked and smelled like a motel. The menu is generally pricey, but at least our orders were filling. I’ve tried a variety of pancakes(from McDonald’s to my neighborhood cafes) and I think I’m qualified to say that IHOP’s pancakes are not that good. I ordered a blueberry pancake, and when I cut it open, wow what an ugly mess of excessive blueberries inside. I could barely finish my stack because of the overwhelming and unnatural blueberry flavor. Also, I ordered chicken fingers and Belgian waffles, which were tasty, thank goodness. EDIT: a few months later, I had the ham & egg cheese melt sandwich. SOGOOD. Presentation of food was also above average.

Went here after a long night of hanging out and drinking. We got seated quick but the waiter didn’t seem very interested. I’m not really a huge fan of IHOP to begin with so I didn’t expect the food to be anything better than okay. It just so happen this one was less than okay due to the fact that my pancakes were disgusting!!!

It was my anniversary belonging to the IHOP fan club. They sent me an email for free pancakes. Be advised if you go to this location they now check your ID. I don’t mind, but did not want to take the chance of having my identity stolen. The manager understood and looked at my drivers license at the table where I could see what she was taking down. I’m going to have to make a decision if I’ll take advantage of this offer in the future. Plus on my birthday too I get the same offer! I’m not sure it is worth the risk of having my identity stolen. This is a generous gift from IHOP. Maybe they need to consider making it $ 5.00 off, or a pot of coffee with your meal. Maybe free desert or something less costly. It’s unfortunate that people try to get over on them and ruin it for the honest people like me! Well enough of that! The pancakes were awesome. I had the pot of coffee which hit the spot! My service was top notch from Jasmin! She was very patient and understanding. They have an A in the window and the bathroom was clean! I’ll be back as soon as I can. The Harvest Grain and Nut Pancakes are the best.

SHAMESHAMESHAME that I came to expect top/good service. Upon entering the shop, We noticed once worker on her belly behind the glass partition texting or sleeping. There was no body at the front desk — The bus boys noticed us and informed the Management after 1 min or so. We were seated and welcomed by Oliver who was very cheerful and pleasant to with around. She got our order perfect. While we were eating, Tim and I Noticed the same girl who was«sleeping» and walking about. When it came to paying our bill, This worker was caught sleeping around behind the glass partition. Manager or Owner should have a proper place for Slackers. The pictures of this Co-worker are posted on Facebook«Sam Cch»

The only reason why this got 1 star it’s simply for this review. I just came from there and it was horrible, keep in mind last time I came here was 4 months ago and that wasn’t a good experience either, but this time just put a stamp I WILLNEVERCOMETOTHISLOCATIONAGAIN! Not only was my fork DIRTY but my eggs look like they had mold on them. On top of that the manager was arguing with her employee in the middle of the floor. This ihop needs to go under new management, new cooks and new dish washers.

I always come here during the early mornings so there isn’t any wait time. The service here is good, but the food is not worth the price they charge. We sat near the kitchen door and this weird smell just lingered around our table. They had different flavors of syrup, but they were all overwhelmingly sweet.

So what if I eat at a chain restaurant in NYC I absolutely LOVE this place after drinking all night. Plus, the after hour(midnight and onwards) characters(including myself) that hangout there are a HOOT. The service here is top notch and they are very accommodating with special requests, like heated syrup. It is weird that the NYC locations do not provide heated syrup without a formal request but I digress. For the most part, the restaurant and restrooms are clean. The only thing that bugs me about this location is that they do not make waffles after 10pm. I mean sometimes you want to «treat yo’self» to a nice waffle loaded with strawberry syrup.

I’m going to keep this short. I should’ve read the reviews for this location before heading inside, but me and a few other friends decided to come in spontaneously two months ago after a long night at Webster Hall. I was absolutely disgusted when I saw my pancakes with a small bug on it, alive too. The manager casually told me that a new plate will be made immediately, acting as if a situation like this is not uncommon there. Never coming back to this place again. Luckily, I didn’t have too many drinks that night, otherwise I probably would have ate the pancake + bug combo without discovering it. My phone was charging at that time, so I could not take any pictures.

This is my second trip to this location, I always visit more than once before reviewing. Great, clean service first time! This visit was horrible… poor service, dirty sticky table, I requested no butter on pancakes and of course the waitress brought them with a big glob of dripping butter on top! My mug for tea was filthy… the water kettle had lint/fabric hanging from the spout. Each time I complained the waitress thoroughly examined the food or mug before replacing it. There was never a smile/apology/pleasantry of any sort during my visit! The management needs to brush up on service and cleanliness with it’s staff. The two stars is for the location/bacon/ice water. Good luck on your visit if you dare!

I actually liked the location. It’s not a lifestyle hotspot obviously, but you know that before going to a chain like IHOP. If you are in the mood for a huge stack of pancakes and like to have a choice, this is where you’ll find it. I always order the buttermilk pancakes, since I think they are the best. I would recommend the respberry version of them. Service was nice and I also like the atmosphere at IHOP. What can be more American than a diner serving pancakes, hash browns and coffee with unlimited refill? The most popular syrups can be found directly on the table, what actually is a very nice touch. I think this is an experience for every tourist going to the US.

We went to Ihop after the man bought an amazon local voucher. Having been in New York for 6 months and favoring the independently run restaurants, we thought it would be fun to give an all american restaurant chain a go. Plus we thought it would be a quick meal to grab before going to see Jurassic World. I went for the egg white omelette and he went for the chicken club. Service was not as speedy as we had hoped but the portion sizes were definitely bigger than expected. My omelette was ok… a little bit bland as it was 90% egg whites with a couple of mushrooms and a few leaves to spinach. My side fruit salad contained 10 pieces of pineapple, 4 pieces of rock melon and 1 segment of orange. Not too inspiring. The club sandwich was quite nice. Would have been great if it was toasted. The side of fries were nicely seasoned. It took them an age to bring out our check… to the point that I had to leave to go get our cinema tickets while Tom paid the bill otherwise we would have missed the screening. The one other thing that surprised me was how expensive it was. Obviously it was a lot cheaper but my omelette and fruit salad usually costs $ 13. I know so many other places where I could get a much better meal for that price or less.

I know, I know. What kind of self-respecting New York resident goes to IHOP of their own volition? Especially when it’s not actually cheaper than real diners in town. All I can say is that a couple times a year, this Southern girl and her Virginian cohorts develop an inexplicable craving for chicken fried steak. And as it so happens, this is about the only place in Manhattan you can find it. So, a couple times a year, IHOP it is. The place is huge, so you can usually get in and out pretty quickly. And thankfully there are plenty of «real» NY spots nearby, too, so that you can go «atone for your sins» at somewhere more authentic once you’re done: p
