Holy Name of Jesus Church

Gorgeous church. I go here sometimes for Mass in the morning. Lots of regulars. No pressure place to find a few minutes of grace and peace.

This is a beautiful church — very beautiful. I’m recently trying to reconcile my spiritual/​religious beliefs (or non-​beliefs), so I haven’t been to mass in a while. But when I was walking to the nearby Whole Foods, I heard the bells ringing, saw the doors open, and parishoners entering. So, I felt like I wanted to go in for a quick nod.
It was a Spanish mass, which I did not know until I got the handout. But I stayed for the mass and the Priest gave a lovely mass. I was caught up in the beautiful church and the Priest’s uplifting voice and gospel of the day. Since it was a Spanish mass, it went pretty long; so I left early.
Their Stations of the Cross around the inside of the church are large, detailed, and beautiful.

The church has beautiful arch wood ceilings and wooden carved statues showing scenes from the passion line the side walls of the church.
