At Holographic Studios we make and sell holograms. Holograms make great gifts or gift certificates for that special person who has everything. We are the world’s oldest gallery of holography. We give unique fun tours of our historic gallery and subterranean laser laboratory. Its like a visit to Doc Brown’s lab from Back To The Future. Take one of our classes and learn to make your own holograms. Classes are great for kid’s science projects too!

History

Established in 1979.

Holographic Studios is located in a former blacksmith’s forge. It is the world’s oldest gallery of holography. We produce our holograms directly below the gallery in our subterranean laser laboratory.

Meet the Business Owner

Jason S.

Business Owner

Jason Sapan, known as Doctor Laser, is one of the pioneers of holography. With a career beginning in 1968, he has produced hologram portraits of Andy Warhol, Bill Clinton, Ed Koch, Pierre Cardin, Phillis Diller, The Smothers Brothers, Billy Idol, Phil Donahue, and Isaac Asimov among others. His work has been in the Museum of Arts and Design (MAD). Mr. Sapan has taught classes at the School of Visual Arts, New York University, University of Vermont, and the School of the Arts Institute Chicago.
