This unique two-​level space was designed exclusively for Harley-​Davidson of NYC to allow customers access and control of the latest in digital design technology. Featuring the world’s first and only Harley-​Davidson Powerwall; two multi-​touch kiosks allow customers to design, view and save their custom bikes on a movie screen sized display, instantly.

In addition to having all Harley-​Davidson model families on display and available for purchase, the Harley-​Davidson of NYC Tribeca showroom has its own line of custom bikes utilizing the Harley-​Davidson of NYC logo. Concierge service is available on premises, conveniently connecting your bike to our Service Department. Riders have the option of dropping off their bike, or taking advantage of scheduled pick-​up. The showroom also features a coffee bar, 16 monitor display wall, dynamic Glass Bike Lift suspended from the ceiling and a premium selection of exclusive accessories and apparel. Oh – and a New York state of mind.

History

Established in 2013.

Originally located in Manhattan, Harley-​Davidson® of New York City moved across the 59th Street Bridge to Long Island City, Queens to better serve our customers in 1986 and settled in our current home at 42 – 11 Northern Boulevard in 1999. Shortly after that, an alternate retail outlet for clothing was established in Manhattan on Lexington Avenue. Our main store in Queens is a full service destination offering sales, service, parts & accessories and clothing & collectibles.

For some reason Harley Davidsons around the country have a tendency to have really rude staff. I went there a while back and not a single person talked to me. I shopped around for a good while, found my own merchandise then checked out spending just over a hundred bucks on gifts and merchandise for myself.

Great place! I dropped by here while in town and what a unique Harley Store. Lots of bikes, parts and stuff downstairs, souvenir type items and a coffee bar upstairs with the best place to sit and hang out for a little while.

Had I not actually visited this store to buy a bike, I probably would have been impressed. However, I did not come for the coffee or for the friendly female staff. I came to buy a bike and what I encountered was the rudest, even by harley standards, salesperson I have ever met. I was initially greeted by a very nice salesman (and ofcourse I forgot his name when my blood started boiling over what happened next) who because of this I suppose, passed me off to their bulldog when it came time to negotiating prices. When I told this gentleman (and I use that term oh so loosely) by the name of Av***s that I was still shopping around but looking to buy by the end of the week, he quoted me an outrageous overinflated MSRP plus bullshit fees price (I currently own a harley so I know what’s reasonable) and barked at me saying «You said you’re still shopping around, that’s the best I can do». He then berated me for another 5 minutes both about the price I was looking to pay and the possibility of purchasing another brand without ever even making an attempt to meet me halfway price wise. I know this dealership probably thrives on the coffee consumed by the tourists and hipsters alone but when I’m about to drop close to 20k on a bike I expect to be treated like a human being not like some fanboy that’ll be bullied into an outrageous price because they just must absolutely buy a harley to park in their living room.

one thousand times better than the little kiosk that they have on Lex. This place is BIG. They have BIKES. Like a lot of BIKES. I ride, but don’t have a harley since they are so dang expensive, but this is a cool spot and everyone there was really friendly. I looked at some gloves and accessories and didn’t find anything I liked but it was a very pleasant shopping trip. I’ve been to many places where they’re just dismissive of women who ride, but here every single person was asking me to come back, to find me my dream stuff, to go through the sale racks for clearance stuff. Also, they have coffee… and couches for spouses. Check out the NYC mural downstairs.

This place is a funny concept. Coffee shop in a Harley Davidson store? I can’t imagine bikers rhapsodizing about Balthazar croissants and cappuccinos. But I could be wrong. Anyway they have Balthazar croissants! Which is enough of a reason for me to come back. I can’t give it 5 stars though because it’s a weird combo. A café in a furniture store would be much cuter.
As for the motorcycles I don’t really care.

The store is indeed huge, and the staff are consummate professionals and nice people in general.
I’m a new rider, and my first trip was just to browse the bikes and get some gloves and a helmet for my Motorcycle Safety School courses. I’ve since been back to order a jacket, a full face helmet and a bike. Morgan was great with helping me sit on all the bikes until I fell in love with the Fat Bob, which is now on the way from another dealer, with everything I asked for, after Matt and Carolyn in sales traded a touring bike for it.
I had a bit of weird situation with another dealer making me an offer that sounded too good to be true on a 2015 model, on par with an offer Matt had made me for a 2014 in an unpopular color. I told Matt about the other offer (like I said, already sounded too good to be true), and Carolyn sat down with me in her office and explained the ins and outs of the pricing on the different models and the trade they’d made for the bike I’m getting. This was really above and beyond in the customer service department.
In fact, everyone I dealt with seemed eager to actually help rather than just sell. I hate high pressure sales people who won’t leave you alone, but Matt, Carolyn, Morgan, Winston, Rose, Elizabeth and Cordell make this a place you actually want to go, even aside from the excitement of getting a new vehicle. I’m forgetting a couple of names, but I’ve been impressed with a large number of people considering that I’ve only been in the store three or four times. Thanks, and keep it up.

Longtime riders, enthusiasts or out-​of-​towners looking for the perfect cool NYC gift — all should visit the Harley Davidson of NYC store. The destination is three levels of pure awesomeness! Whether you are going to drool over the motorcycles, or pick up a part for your bike — this is the place to come. The shop has an extensive of line of apparel, accessories and perfect gifts (with a very attractive staff to serve you). And with the espresso bar on the main level, you can enjoy a delicious fancy latte to get revved up for your next ride.

Cool vibe. I’ve seen this place moving in, and today is the first day they’re serving coffee. They were also sampling some pastries from Balthazar so I took the opportunity to ask if they planned to offer anything vegan. (Doesn’t hurt to ask.) I gave him a card from Jack’s Stir-​brewed coffee, just in case they’re able to order anything from there.
The barista named Taylor (with an ironic handlebar mustache) served me an excellent americano, with soy. This is a cool place to hang out, and a couple of blocks from my last walk of the day. Excellent and awesome.
Oh yeah: they have bikes, too! As a matter off fact, I missed a women-​only event tonight about trying out bikes, getting a bike – even how to pick up a bike! Naturally, they also have an assortment of clothing and gear.
They plan to have musical events in the near future, so it’s likely I’ll be spending a good bit of time here.
