History
Established in 1984.
Halstead Property was founded in 1984 by Chairman Emeritus & Founder Clark P. Halstead and current Chief Executive Officer Diane M. Ramirez. The company quickly established itself as an innovative real estate firm in New York by being the first to introduce ground floor, retail storefronts as offices. Halstead Property was one of the first firms to open offices in key market areas of Manhattan by starting on the Upper East Side and then expanding to the West Side and Downtown. In 2001 Halstead Property joined a distinguished family of real estate-related companies owned by Terra Holdings. Today Halstead Property has over 1,000 sales and rental agents throughout New York City, metropolitan New Jersey, Fairfield County, Connecticut, the Hamptons and Hudson Valley, New York.

Manager
Gus Perry brings his professionalism and a keen ability to motivate to his position as Executive Director of Sales for Halstead Property’s Upper Manhattan and Riverdale offices. With nearly three decades in the real estate industry, he possesses a comprehensive knowledge of the business, savvy marketing skills, and an ability to inspire and maximize the potential of agents. This is evident in his previous experience where he built the leading real estate company in Northern Manhattan and in his personal experience as a property owner and investor.
In his previous experiences, Gus has negotiated all facets of real estate, including land, townhouses, sales and rentals of co-ops, condominiums, parking garages, air rights, and professional and commercial leases. He has coordinated all aspects of sales processes, including financing, legal and board approval, and maintained active troubleshooting and negotiating involvement through closing.
