Our certified professional barbers specialize in high and tight skin fades, full scissor hair cut, all and any types of fades, beard trims and shape-​ups as well as royal hot towel shaves which includes 2 relaxing hot towels, 1 soothing cold towel, 3 fortifying facial creams and a facial massage which guarantees to calm away headaches, under eye pains do to sinus congestion and migraines.

History

Established in 2006.

Before I took over the shop it was nothing but a plain photo studio. I took over the place with the intentions to offer the highest quality in mens grooming in chelsea and its diverse number of men with all types of hair all for an unbeatable price. It’s been almost 6 years now and were still going strong doing exactly that and plan on going for many many more years to come. This to me is not just a business it’s my passion and my lifes work.

So I can say that I have what I consider a pretty standard haircut but many other barbers have found a way to mess it up one way or another. Upon finding this gem in Chelsea, I can say that I will never go back to another barbershop again, so much so that I come in from 45 mins away in CT just to get my haircut here. Prices are very reasonable and the barbers take their time to make sure your haircut is just the way you want it. They also are open to giving advice on what to do with your hair if it is in an «awkward» stage while growing it out. Grade A shop, grade A cuts, grade A staff. All around a great place. Highly recommended.

NICK has been cutting my hair for about 2 years now. My hair is not easy to cut as its thinning and with some cow licks but I always get a quality cut from NICK and I leave very satisfied and fresh. I started out with just a trim-I’m now at a high and tight. Lol. These barbers really know how to give a great fade. I use Michael. He really knows his skill and I’ve never been dissatisfied with his cuts.

Been looking for a new barber for 6 months since my move downtown. Been to about a dozen different shops with no luck. Either the guys didn’t listen, didn’t seem to get the details or had the personalities of a wet blanket. I walked by Haircrafters on my way to another shop. The modern look of the shop caught my eye and the price made me walk on. Mark was my barber. He listened, explained what he was doing and took his time. He was beyond pleasant and a genuinely nice guy. He even tricked my hair out a bit which is not easy to do. It’s the best haircut I have had in months! I highly recommend Mark as a barber. Great skills and a personality to match.

I went about two weeks ago on a Sunday as I needed a quick buzz and have heard «some» positive things. I said to the barber (the only one there) I want a high and tight fade. He ASSURED me, ASSURED ME that he knew what he was doing. REALLY?!? A blind spastic chimp probably could have cut my hair better. It took him 30 minutes to just fade one side (and I use the term «fade» loosely). He had no, NO idea what he was doing, I don’t even think he was licensed. After almost an hour of watching him transform my head into some geometry test with lines everywhere, I just stopped him and paid and left, I couldn’t take it anymore.
So disappointed, fades are not their specialty.

Have been going there since it opened — was there the second week and have been going ever since — Michael, the owner, is a true «hair crafter,» as well as his entire staff.
Seems to be a lot of barbers opening on 23rd street in Chelsea — read reviews — as the other «new» places aren’t getting great reviews — at all — even one of them has the owner responding to Unilocal reviewers somewhat yelling back — wow — unprofessional.
Can’t go wrong here. Great location, great haircuts and great pricing.

Nice enough shop, looks up to date. Five chairs. Two barbers working at 8:00 AM today. My guy did a good job on my buzz cut. In and done in 15 – 20 minutes. $ 20 plus tip. I would go back.
Plus they are across the street from the Doughnut Factory :)
