H&M

I really liked the several floors of H&M with escalators that criss cross as you enter. After about 15 years, this location is unfortunately closing up. Recently, I stopped by to see they were offering 70% off everything including the discounted items. It was sad.

I love h&m and their clothing But I am very disappointed !!! Long story short the manger Carlos made a racial remark towards me. And I have never felt so down graded before IM JUST SPEECHLESS.

No seating available. And don’t even think about charging your phone while waiting. I won’t spend my money there ever.

This is a huge H&M. We are talking about 3 floors (or maybe 4) of fashion goods?
It’s kinda funny every time I go to a H&M with my boyfriend; instead of my boyfriend sitting around waiting for me to finish my shopping… it was me waiting for my boyfriend to find the perfect pants. I love H&M, but he loves H&M way more. Anyways he found 3 of his new favorite pants here.
I heard there was a new location that opened 3 blocks down, which is even bigger… I heard its the largest in the world! Should have went to that one… either way, this H&M still big had had a lot of items to choose from.

This H&M is nicely designed, organized, and spotless. There are entrances/​exits on the front and side of the store. I believe there are about 3 – 4 levels (floors) of clothing and accessories. H&M is one of those stores that you can hardly walk out without buying anything. Price are comparably cheaper than designer brands and qualities are quite durable and not cheap looking.

Overall I like this place. Bought a new bag here because my urban outfitters bag was ruined by the rain and the people were really nice and helpful.
H&m prices are the same everywhere in the city and they sell the same things so this is primarily judged by the service which is on point.

PROS: One of H&M’s flagship stores in NY I patronize the most. They carry a great selection of clothes that would definitely satisfy all the needs. Store sales are nice to help, no difficulty (no questions asked) getting refunded or returning items.
CONS: Items sold out fast compared to other locations.

Lots of clothes but sales people were rude. I just moved to New York and was looking to start up my wardrobe again. I was looking at spending between 400 $ to 700 $ at this store.
Walked in was greeted and given a bag. The bag was really small so I asked for two. The man said he didn’t have enough. After walking the first floor I went to the change room. The lady in there was very nice. I had a lot of items. I explained to her I was here for a big shopping spree.
I asked her if she could get me a few different sizes. She said no problem
After I picked out about 15 things I went to the other side of the first floor found more and went back to the change room. This time a guy was there. I asked him for a different size and he snapped at me saying «we don’t do that here, get it yourself!»
I was so taken back, considering the money I was spending he could have helped me. The nice girl came back and offered to help but he got mad at her too. She told me to go the upstairs floor.
I went up there and tried on a few more things. I spent over 500 $ there and if I really didn’t need the clothes I would have just left. The guy in the change room spoiled my day by being so rude.
Great selection but if I’m buying so much I really don’t have the hands to carry 3 different sizes for each item as I can be a small to a size 8 there depending on the clothes.

This place is right smack in the middle of tourist-​ville + offices. It’s in the perfect location since it’s on 5^th avenue allowing tourists to shop and ppl like me take lunch breaks + shop!
Yes, this place is always crowded, everything is a mess and it’s hot, but what are you expecting? This place has cheap clothes and it does a good job of saving you money. I try to avoid this place as much as possible since I always come out with a bag of clothes when I do go in.
If you don’t find what you’re looking for here, there are two other h&ms on 5^th avenue (46 st and 42 st) as well as one on Lexington ave.

Having to listen to an awful mother’s screaming spoiled brat and Nine Inch Nails blaring over the speaker is definitely how I want to spend my time in the fitting room. But hey, you get what you pay for, cheap clothing and shitty customer service.
All of the employees here are rude and absolutely miserable… which is how you will feel by the time you’re done shopping for having to deal with them.

It’s Amaaaaaazing! Please go check out this location if you are in Times Square. No really, everyone should be swarming there! Did you hear about the grand re-​opening? Lady Gaga walked the runway! Speaking of the runway, if you don’t know what it is, you can try on clothes and then walk down a mock runway like a real model while automated robot paparazzi take your photo and post it to the big screen. This is not to be missed. I highly highly highly recommend going to check this place out. The best time to go is definitely around lunch time during the week. Everyone in Times Square should go there at lunch time, especially if you were thinking of going to Chop’t for lunch. NO, I’m not just telling you this so that there’s no line at Chop’t! Just go okay …

The biggest H&M collection I’ve seen so far in the city. The enormous posters make it fit right into the 5^th Ave culture. I came in here looking for some basic items and a pair of cheap booties, and the customer service was not bad. Actually, a female employee was wearing the shoes I wanted and I was so jealous she got them because the store was sold out! She was friendly and told me to check back later in the week or order online. Overall, solid H&M store with big selection of casual, work, dressy apparel. You could get lost here.

I came here when they opened on Saturday morning and the loud techno music was almost deafening. It made shopping for suits even more stressful. I think this store is for teenagers now but was able to get some basic items like button down shirts and socks.

Always trendy fashion, sometimes even stylish.
Nice big store, lots of selection, not much help on the floor but that’s par for these guys, probably helps keep the prices low.

Cheap, easy, breezy.
Everyone knows what H&M is, right? So… what’s left to say? Since the clothing tends not to be well-​constructed or long-​lasting, why not just buy the cheapest items, such as Ts and polos. Socks are cheap too, but uncomfortable.
The store itself is an interesting space, a box with galleries built around an atrium. Some strange planning on the men’s floor makes you have to double back to go downstairs if you want to check the whole thing out.
The music’s really loud, and on the men’s floor, bright lights are pointed right at your eyes while you wait in line to pay. I don’t know why!

I felt generous and gave it 2 stars because of the variety of clothes there. This H&M store has the best stock of clothes, but the customer service here is the worst. I’ve bought clothes at this store 3 times, and all 3 times, I’ve waited on line for at least 20 – 30 minutes. It’s not even cause the lines were long, there was only 3 people in front of me. The cashiers take their time with the clothes, and chat with their co workers. Do you not see us waiting here? Stop wasting our precious time. Then, they don’t tell you it’s a Credit/​debit only line until the line gets longer. AT least put a sign there.
What really ticked me off, is when the line gets longer, the cashier told the people in back of the line to go downstairs for more registers. But of course the line isn’t even that long, so we wait here, not wanting to go downstairs. I heard the cashier whisper to her coworker, «I swear, these people are stupid. They won’t go on the faster lines downstairs.» OH YEA? Why don’t you WORK FASTER so the line goes faster.

WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER.

H&M clothes show a little more personality than Uniqlo. The prices are reasonable but the fashion, quality, and fit seem to be hit or miss. So far, I haven’t bought anything from them.
At the moment, what stands out in my mind is a skirt with giant pineapple prints all over it — who thought this was a good idea?

I love this H&M, my friend and I were just planning to go to Uniqlo but instead passed here and went in «just to check it out». OMG!!! Three floor!!!
The third floor is literally SALE!!! Or how my friend says it, «SA-​LOE»!
There is so much stuff to go through, we were in a rush, so I grab a white shirt/​blouse for summer and she got two pairs of pants. The fitting rooms are huge, but the lighting is very dark, I think that is their method of making you look better in their mirrors so you can buy their merchandise haha.
The lines are long on the third floor, but quick!
Even though the shirt did not have a price tag, the manager was there and just give the cashier instructions on how to input certain numbers. They were very professional.
Will definitely come here again if in the area. Decided not to go to Uniqlo after all.

What do you say about H&M? I stopped in on my lunch break to try to find a pair of leopard flats. They had them on their website for $ 12.95. They had them in store and in my size but they just weren’t what I was looking for so I passed.
Otherwise, the store was clean and displays well maintained.
