This is not a café, this is a dirty nasty bodega. Ordered in several times(worth noting it was never good food) from this place before seeing it on the street, then went inside — never again.

Horrible spot — terrible food and atrocious service. The kind of place you hope closes down because they show such blatant disregard for customers that they don’t deserve your money. I ignored bad reviews, but hope others won’t.

24⁄7 delivery. Diner style food. Fries are out of this world. Tuna melt panini is my absolute favourite. Delivery is always fast and food is hot. Don’t expect gourmet cuisine, it is what it is, a great choice for when you get the munchies.

My boyfriend and I were on our way home after a night on the town when hunger came over us like a plague. Desperately searching for something delicious to order and be delivered around the same time as we would be arriving home, we stumbled upon this. There is nothing quite like having a piping hot bagel breakfast sandwich delivered to your door at 1:30am — especially when said sandwhich is nothing short of a perfectly simple and well-execute bacon, egg, and cheese. Bottom line: late night delivery rocks, definitely worth a shot in the daylight hours as well

I can believe they wanted to charge me .75 cents for one pickle chip on my burger. This place is getting expensive.

Sad looking and soggy panini. A 2.50 $ cookie that came from a cheap bodega. Not happy. Not ordering from here again.

Tozt deserves better than 3 ½. Look, it’s a little dingy, but you should know that walking into it. This place is great. I come here for my weekly bacon, egg, and cheese. Sometimes I’ll get it on the roll but their bagels are surprisingly tasty and fluffy. It’s cheap, it’s quick, it’s reliable. Don’t come in expecting fine cuisine, it’s just good grub.

Just ordered in from here and was really impressed. Each«tozt» sandwich is enough for two moderate eaters. But darn it was so good I ate it all up! Quick delivery and a quality late-night snack. I had the Grilled Cheese with Tomato. Yum. Thanks gang!

Panini Tozt Café caters! …what an amazing job they did! I went to an event they were catering this past Friday and had the privilege of enjoying their service. They had an assortment of three platters. One was a large fruit spread, another various pieces of different flavored sheet cake pieces, and finally a main course tapas tray. The latter mentioned consisted of seasoned shrimp, tandoori chicken pieces, lemon chicken pieces, several types of dumplings, and pastries amongst a few other things. My favorite was the juicy lightly seasoned shrimp on a stick. All the food was good and I left the event well fed after they brought well more than we could all eat. I had no choice but to consume more of the great tasting food than I should have because of the forceful circumstances. HaHa Though, as good as the food was it wasn’t their best asset. The service they provided was top notch and unrivaled. It was the service one would expect to receive at a formal ball. The waiter approached as soon as I walked in holding white wine, red wine, and a glass. The entire night he literally walked around making sure everyone in the small event of about forty was taken care with wine while another waitress manned(or wommaned the open bar). The waiter even walked around and made sure no one waited with their left over plates and utensils as they socialized around the room. Great job Panini Tozt Café! You are now atop of my recommended caters in the city!

I was really craving a breakfast sandwich this morning as I was starving and remembered this place was near by. The inside looked clean and like your typical breakfast-lunch counter. They took my order and in two minutes, it was ready, and it only cost me 3.50. It was delicious — they even put ketchup on it! It’s not a place I would order something complicated from, but for a quick wrap or breakfast sandwich, it is an excellent bargain.

I was craving a Club sandwich and wanted something that hit the spot. I got just that but also got a sandwich with what looked like and tasted like fresh carved chicken! The bacon was thick cut like you’d see at a high-end restaurant. The fries even arrived warm and perfectly prepared. This was the best sandwich I’ve had delivered ever.

I order from this place on occasionally because the order minimum is cheap and I usually only want a latte and a bagel. The last couple of times my coffee has literally been 100% steamed milk. The third time this happened I decided to call to complain and ask them to bring me some espresso to add to the milk(no point in wasting it, and if they remade the latte it might be just milk again). She said ok but did not ask who I was or where I lived to bring me the order before hanging up on me. I called back to tell her, and she put me on «hold» and hung up on me. I’ll be ordering elsewhere for now on.

I love bubble tea, it is amazing. It is probably my favorite type of beverage in the world. The good thing about bubble tea is it’s VERY hard to mess up because it is very easy to make. I have made it on several occasions, but somehow Panini Tozt ALWAYS screws it up. I’ve had multiple bubble teas from there and something is off about the tapioca pearls. They aren’t cooked right and are always way too soggy. They also serve it to you in a regular straw sometimes, which is annoying and pointless to drink. Then you sit there with a spoon picking out all the pearls. Whatever. This place is named«Panini Tozt», so I am guessing it’s not a shot in the dark to guess panini’s are their specalizy. They should just get a new name, because it’s not. All their panini’s look like they were pressed, run over by a car, and just came out of a tornado. This place has A LOT of menu choices, but they do most of them wrong. I would avoid it. This place deserves 1 star, but I will give it 2 for the incredibly nice people that work there.

Visit 1: Went in for breakfast before work and ordered. Before even starting to make my sandwich, grill guy spends 5 minutes standing on the side just chatting it up with other customers there. Visit 2: I decide to give this place another chance. Grill guy somehow takes over 10 minutes to make me an egg sandwich, with only one other person in line in front of me. I get to the cashier to pay for it once it’s finally done, only to find out that she’s given it away to someone else. So, two times I walked in there and ordered, and came out without any food. Never again.

This deli is right across the street from where I work, and I’m so thankful for it on the days where I barely have time to run out and grab a bite. I know there are a handful of other locations in NYC, but I felt as if the staff and way the place was ran deserved a Unilocal page for itself. It’s a solid deli, with really great, friendly staff, who try to make you whatever panini/item you wish. Everytime I see them during lunch, they are always handing out samples. They are primarily known for their paninis, which I would have to agree are pretty damn good. I have a pretty strong feeling the bread they use is a great contributor(flaky texture, slightly buttery flavor). Favorites: Ham Tozt(ham and cheese) Turkey Tozt(turkey, swiss, tomato, mayo) Brie Tozt(turkey, brie, sun-dried tomatoes, honey mustard) Swiss Tozt(grilled chicken, mushrooms, swiss, mayo) My friend had the burger, which was pretty solid. There’s a long sandwich bar where you can sit and have your sandwich. The deli also makes breakfast sandwiches, and has a pretty good selection of desserts. Definitely a deli, but I’ve never seen a staff as nice as this who really try to make sure you’re happy. My coworkers and I will certainly keep coming back for our sandwich fixes!
