Ordered a few things for delivery. First, it took 1.5 hours! Second, the delivery guy actually called me to come down to my lobby to get the groceries from him! Umm, NO!!! It’s called a ‘tip’ loser — earn it! I could barely understand a word the idiot was saying. Never again.

Still a solid place with very friendly people, but their Seamless deliveries have become a bit slow so I’ve reduced the rating by a star.

I ordered a grocery delivery via Seamless and got a bag of rotten potatoes. Do not order any vegies or fruits from them…

Green Star Foods has a terrific selection of organic and all natural items. Think of a mini Whole Foods meets quickie mart! They have this new product called 1 Hour Sleep that you take before a nap and wake up with energy and clarity for a while day! It’s all natural and really works. I’ll be back soon!

Don’t order delivery from here! The delivery man made me meet him on a corner a block from my building because«the road was blocked off.» It definitely wasn’t, plus obviously he was on a bike so. He also kept calling and yelling something at me on the phone and then hanging up. Overall a truly bizarre and unpleasant experience. Avoid!!!

Saw few rats inside, I would stay away. I gave away my sandwich to my friend and they said it was terrible.

Gross business. The food smelled awful and everything that could go wrong. The panini was neither on panini bread nor pressed and the mozzarella was moldy. The bacon cheeseburger with fries was missing the bacon and considering few fries there were, I was hoping they’d be cooked, nope. The fries felt like someone ran them under hot water right after coming out the freezer. Even the grilled cheese was dry and cold, I mean come on!!! And to top it all off, when I called, they told me to call back when I wanted a reorder and the manager told he’d put my name down so I could order whenever. Called today and someone else told me they had no idea what I was talking about and would do nothing about it. Nope nope nope.

There delivery was quick. but my chicken cutlet on a hero was so cold Like it wasn’t even cooked. My cheese wasn’t even melted. I had to heat up my own sandwich… what a bad first impression they made! If I’m paying over 7 dollars for a sandwich I expect to get my moneys worth. My advice if you already have a place that you usually order from, stick to what your familiar with.

This place is still my top spot for Juices and random health foods. There are so many health food places cropping up that seem suuuuper overpriced and just spewing snobby BS. This place is just old, gold, straightforward, New York style health grocery. Long live Greenstar.

24-hour, reliable deli with the most friendly staff. Many vegan options to choose from; it’s no surprise that I’m a regular!

Was surprised to see a few bodegas within .5 miles of each other that accept LevelUp. Green Star had your classic selection and friendlier than usual service.

The good: Open 24 hours Extremely fast delivery They have a lot of good stuff inside The bad: Very expensive — i grab a few things i need and a few things i want and now 6 items cost me $ 40. Items on their shelves aren’t always fresh(moldy/expired bread; condiments past their due date) The sandwiches aren’t that good. They are inexpensive and come quickly, but they have very little meat in them and optimum deli and high line deli offer much better sandwiches at similar prices.

I ordered a sandwich(multigrain with vegetables) and that was okay. I also ordered orange juice because they said it was fresh. But their orange juice is NOTFRESH. Please don’t order the juice thinking it’s fresh — it’s just Tropicana bottled again. I ordered their hail to kale juice as well and that’s way too sweet(I don’t know if they add sugar) but I’m not ordering their juices smoothies again.

I order from this place all the time. They’re always open 24 hours and they always deliver literally anything you could possibly need very quickly. Whether it’s a hummus wrap or cleaning supplies they have everything. If I could give this place 1000 stars I would. The staff is always friendly and remembers who I am every time I call. Love you Greenstar!

This review is regarding the delivery/customer service. I have ordered from Greenstar Foods twice, both times for delivery via Seamless and both times resulting in a review on Seamless. My first experience/review was a positive one. But tonight, my service was so frustrating that I chose to write my review both on Seamless and on Unilocal in the hopes that the management will see it and learn from their mistakes. Sure, the delivery took a long time. That’s understandable considering they were delivering to Brooklyn. However, I didn’t expect to be scolded and berated by the delivery guy when he arrived. He was angry because he had tried to call me and had been waiting a while. I explained that my cell phone service is spotty in my apartment, and I don’t have a land line. I asked why he didn’t just ring the bell(like every other delivery person has done successfully). Instead of answering my question, he started yelling at me more saying, «Next time, answer the call.» I found this ironic because 1) he obviously wasn’t getting my point that I COULDN’T answer the call since my phone didn’t have service and 2) there most certainly wasn’t going to be a next time after this experience. It’s a shame because Greenstar Foods is the only grocery that delivers on Seamless(at least in my area), and I liked the fact that I could order organic foods along with some emergency toilet paper at 11:00 at night. But, the convenience is not worth being treated like an idiotic child.

The only deli in the neighborhood with nonalcoholic beer. The store is clean, well organized, and has healthy options.

I love finding new health/healthy places. I loved that they had so many different sorts of food and drinks that you usually see at whole foods or something similar. I came here only twice, both times I came and got some drinks. I like that they had a lot of different varieties for drinks. So the first time I got two different type of aloe vera drinks, one was pineapple aloe vera and the other was a coconut aloe vera. The price was about 1– or 2 something which was pretty okay. The second time I just planned to go in and see what caught my eyes and just get something. I saw that these cold pressed drinks were on sale. 2 for 5 dollars. I got so excited!!! Then I saw a drink that I’ve never seen before!!! A quinoa drink(there was three different flavors) i got the one with blueberries. It was so pricey!!! I mean it came out to 14 dollars! WHAT??? for three drinks??? I guess it’s partly my fault for not looking at the price of the quinoa drink one. At least they take credit cards… Will be careful next time when I just randomly grab things from this place.

This place has delicious made-to-order food in addition to a great grocery selection. Also reasonably priced, although I’d pay extra for the service — they’re always friendly and helpful. I placed a complicated pick-up order and anticipated issues– but there were none! My food and groceries were ready and waiting for me, along with my iced coffee! Recommend!

I recently started working near them and so far the food I have gotten has been good. I gotten two sandwhiches, I thought the meat and cheese were cut a little too thick, but the sandwhich was still decent, but at $ 5.99 a hero it gets a little pricey but not bad for L.E.S I just got a fresh made salad from them and I have to say for the low price of $ 6.95 again a very low price for a salad with chicken in it in the city, very good indeed. 3 stars for food and service and 1 star for being the only place open in the morning when I start work.
