Highly recommend, would have bed bugs with them again. Um… well, you get the idea.
Just had a four-​week follow-​up inspection after our heat treatment for bed bugs, and we are (still) bug free. Great experience with Green Earth from beginning to end. The heat treatment is $$$$ but it’s terrific — everything is over in one day, no crazy prep, no (or extremely minimal) insecticides in your home. Everyone I worked with was highly professional. There was one small scheduling mix-​up (thought we had a firm date for our treatment, turns out it wasn’t firm). I mention this only to say that to get a firm date you must pay the deposit. I think there was a bit of confusion about this between the different departments but we got the date we wanted in the end and the staff were very professional in handling the mix-​up.

Wow, these guys are amazing! Found two nasty large waterbugs in my apartment this week and decided to call Green Earth. The man I spoke to (Will) was so helpful and knowledgable about everything and definitely gave me a heads up that waterbugs are slightly more difficult to fully get rid of. I really appreciated the upfront honesty and decided to go through with the extermination for a peace of mind. Will had someone sent the same day and he arrived promptly after scheduling.

I believe our bedbug problem has been solved about three weeks after the second treatment, which is amazing, but I’m compelled to write this review to commend the folks in the customer service department. Never has a business been so patient, understanding, helpful and accommodating with our numerous phone calls and questions throughout this month-​long ordeal as Green Earth Pest Control was. We would call a few times a week to make sure we were doing everything right as we went and to report any bedbug findings; not once did I feel rushed or silly for asking my questions, and every person I spoke to was pleasant, incredibly knowledgable, and just helped us through what they knew was a very stressful situation.
They get the job done and do so very pleasantly, which is a huge help when dealing with something as mentally taxing as a bedbug problem. Would recommend to everyone.

Do yourself a favor– get these professional knowledgeable exterminators to help you.
You will be so happy you did. Will the case handler, Kery the manager, the heat treatment team and canine people — they all were so caring and knowledgable. They answered every email and every question.
If you can afford it, use the heat treatment it is much less disruptive and only takes 24 hours to be bug and egg free. And no poisons are used! Just high heat! Thank you Green Earth!!!

The place I’m working we have a problem with a moths. I make the research and I found this company. That was good decision. After a week we have no moths and even any bugs that sometimes I saw. First they make assessment. The guy who came (Peter) was very friendly and explain it to me how it will be looks like. He was the one who came to do the job after I make an appointment. That was amazing. Every furniture and every feet of carpet he sprey with chemical. Very fast and very good service. Highly recommended Peter job

My last treatment was in March. I’m moving out in 3 weeks, and I’m proud to say we are still roach-​free even during these hot summer months. What a difference compared to this time last year!
Our roach problem wasn’t easily thwarted, and it took two sessions (the first one in February) to make them go away. I saw fewer and fewer each week, and the very last roach I saw was towards the end of May. Sometimes the results aren’t instant, but they are definitely long-​lasting. I was so happy to finally be able to fully utilize my kitchen with no roaches in sight… even grab a midnight snack and flip on the lights without seeing them scurrying on the counters. As I pack now and go through the deep cabinets they used to like to frequent, I only see the occasional dead bug. The rest are GONE!
I still can’t thank Green Earth Pest Control enough. I’m thrilled with the results and feel good knowing the next tenants will not have to deal with the nightmare I did.

After months of dealing with mice in our kitchen, we finally gave up on the useless exterminator sent by our management company and found Green Earth. We scheduled an appointment within 2 days of calling, and the customer service was so pleasant and easy to deal with. The technician arrived at 8am on the dot (when was the last time an exterminator arrived on time?!) and was very professional, efficient, and helpful. He found and sealed the possible entry points in the kitchen and was done within 1 hour. It’s been a week, and we haven’t seen any signs of mice since!
The service is a little on the pricey side ($ 450 for 2 hours) but VERY worth it for the customer service and professional staff. For months we experienced frustration and anxiety over this, so thank you, Green Earth, for the peace of mind you have given us! We hope we never have to call an exterminator again, but we’re relieved to know that Green Earth will be there for us.
UPDATE (7÷24÷15): We saw a mouse last night while we were up watching TV and making noise. Green Earth has a 90 day warranty that goes into effect 2 weeks after the first visit, so we were able to email them right away to alert them to the issue. They came back out again today to deal with it. LJ took the time to look around and discovered a newly chewed hole. He was able to block it up and put deterrent behind the hole so they hopefully do not chew through again. We were really impressed with how quickly they were able to get out to us today, with only a few hours notice. They are always very professional and a pleasure to deal with. Very worth the price.

I saw what I’m 99% sure to be a flying cockroach last night crawling up my bed. He ended up flying behind my bed and I could not get him to come out. After an hour of crying, I decided to sleep on the couch and only slept for 4 hours.
This morning I was determined to call a green/​less toxic pest control to get some information and see what the next steps are.
I called and left a voicemail, and in less than an hour, Kerry called me back. He was amazing — basically talked me through my tears and explained that 1 roach sighting is not cause for alarm and it’s not necessary to have pest control come and spray something for no reason. He explained that I should monitor over the next two weeks, and if I do see something again, I should efinitely call back. I love that he wasn’t trying to sell me something, but rather trying to give me the best help possible. He also offered to send over information about their cockroach service should I need it in the future.
We then discussed ways to prevent an infestation, including using silicone to stop up any holes, washing all dishes, putting away all food, and
Although I hopefully will not need to use Green Earth’s services, I have to rate them 5 stars on their customer service.

They took care of my bedbug problem as thoroughly as anyone possibly could have. It was pretty fantastic.
TL;DR for those who don’t want to read about the whole experience: They’ll take pictures to verify the pest so you don’t have to pay for an initial inspection. They send over very specific instructions on prep. They spray the affected area twice and have you clean it up and then wait 14 days using yourself as bait to be absolutely sure they don’t return. They are thorough, they are effective, and their customer service is impeccable. 5 stars, bar none!
Long Version: Called them, they asked for a picture of whatever pest it was so they didn’t have to come over (and WE’D have to pay) to verify. They immediately verified, we made an appointment, and they sent over incredibly thorough instructions on how to prepare for the spray-​down. Pretty usual fare: launder everything you can, dry-​clean everything you can’t, and vaccuum, spray with 91% isopropyl alcohol, and blowdry on hottest setting everything else. Pack everything in garbage bags and duct tape the bags. Move furniture and bags away from walls and unplug everything. Pretty much all the right things. For the neurotic amongst us *waves* having such thorough instructions is a godsend because trust me when I say that you WILL FEEL like you did everything possible, and that in and of itself is a comfort.
The technician came in and sprayed the affected area. The only thing I will say in their detriment is that I was charged the «studio» price ($ 795) for just spraying my own room instead of the entire three-​bedroom apt, but that’s not terribly surprising; they don’t do just rooms because in general, doing just one room in inadvisable unless you are 110% sure that it’s an isolated infestation, and even then, they can’t in good conscience guarantee that the bugs won’t come back. So, eh. More just so you know what you’re getting into than anything else. They did, however, let us stay in the house as long as we didn’t go into the room for the 4 – 6 hr period (I waited 24 hours because I was busy… and paranoid) so there’s that. After that period, came in, saw what looked like a thick coating of cocaine all over the floor and furniture, and saw so many bedbug carcasses coming out of my captain’s bed that I just knew they were all gone. Cleaned that up, let it air out, and took apart my captain’s bed for the next wave.
They came in a week later, sprayed, and verified that I was clean. Two weeks later, I’m putting all my stuff back and I am confident that I’m bug free. I could not be happier with their services, their demeanor, and their results. Thank you so much for all that you’ve done. I’ll recommend you guys to anyone I know who get s them (and it’s NYC, so… hey.) Cheers!

My husband was on a business trip and found bed bugs in his room. We called Green Earth Pest Control and spoke with Will. He was fantastic! He told us exactly what to do, sent me a checklist that we could follow and referred us to PackTite rental companies so that we could be sure that my husband didn’t bring any bed bugs home with him. It’s rare to receive such excellent customer service when I’m not even a paying customer! We will definitely go back to them should we need an exterminator in the future!

Green Earth comes to my house once a month per my landlord’s contract with them. They also have come on separate occasions to deal with other bug issues we have. Because my roommates and I seem to be the only tenants in the building who notice the bugs, we continue to have a problem. However, finishing up my year-​lease in the infested apartment has been eons easier thanks to Green Earth! Every time I call and speak to Chelsea or Will, they are incredibly helpful over the phone. I also have had to request that they come earlier than I am scheduled because of my work week, and they have always been accommodating. The gentleman who comes to my house is very professional and always does what we need. I would not normally write a review about pest control, but this place has outstanding customer service (not just by crappy NYC standards; by my high standards).

I am battling bed bugs and it has been ongoing for almost 5 months now. My land lord sends there exterminator over every two weeks or so but there has not been any relief. I myself have tried many methods of trying to eradicating them with no success. I spent 150 dollars alone on Temprid and it does not live up to the hype. I called this place and the associate I spoke to was so nice: He told me to give it some time and if the land lord is paying for the other company to see what happens. He even went on to say I hope you don’t need us but if you do we are here. I just don’t think I will ever get rid of this mofo’s that have turned my life upside down and making me want to just end it by pouring gasoline on myself and lighting myself on fire in this very apartment. Really I am joking. I challenge any company out there to eliminate my bed bug issue. I have spent close to 2000 dollars also trying to do it myself.

By far the best customer service I ever experienced in all my time here in NYC. I sent an email late at night asking about an issue I was having in apartment. I received a call first thing today and was given the most helpful solutions possible. Not only was his interest ME and MY concerns, but he spent time explaining every single aspect of the problem to me. I cannot express how grateful I am and if there was an option to give a better rating that 5 stars I would! THANK YOU

Really? These people come when they say they will. a five hour window is — well kinda nuts for this but that’s how they do it. But the ‘doing the business’ part has been crazy difficult. I could not in good conscience recommend them to anyone. Go green by all means. find another outfit that can and will.

This company is UNBELIEVABLE. They are so professional, kind and trustworthy. They are never rushed and answer all your questions, even if you ask the same question more than once. They make you feel super comfortable and seem to always do the right thing. There was one instance I couldn’t use them (because the building I was in at the time worked for the Union) and they still walked me through all the steps they would take, even though they knew they weren’t getting the business. I highly recommend them. Kerry deserves a special shout out! He is a life saver.

I never seem to remember to write this review when I have the paperwork (and names) available, but I want to get this written so here goes:
I had a longstanding mouse infestation that had me at my breaking point when I called Green Earth. They responded with total patience and optimism/​confidence, repeatedly visiting in what must have surely been a case that tested their warranty policy! It took a coordinated effort between Green Earth and a contractor, but finally, in what’s made a HUGE difference in my life, I’ve been rodent free for four months now, following literally years of unsuccessful attempts. (I’m even in the process of completing a professional culinary certification, that would have been out of the question in my kitchen before!)
I have to say I hesitated to write this because of being somewhat superstitious and not wanting to tempt fate regarding my current mouse-​free situation, but I think Green Earth did a really good, professional, and patient job, and you should rely on them with total confidence!
(by the way, I do remember one tech was named Peter, but would really praise all Green Earth people who came to my apt or dealt with me on the phone or by email… just happen to work with a Peter, so that name stuck with me.)

I just got off the phone with someone from Green Earth Pest Control. I thought I had bedbugs, so I called and told them my dilemma. I told him that I had saved a bug I just killed, so he had me take pictures and send them along for a free inspection. Within 5 minutes he called me back to tell me that they were Shiny Spider Beetles– totally harmless compared to bedbugs and to do some power vacuuming and I’ll be alright.
Thank you SO much for the free virtual inspection, and for being so reassuring. I had a feeling when I was on the phone that even if it was bedbugs, I’d be taken care of even just by his tone.

Disclaimer: I haven’t used Green Earth (yet) but their customer service is so unbelievable, I have to write a review.
I truly hate to admit anywhere public that I have seen bugs in my apartment, but after one year of zero sightings, the recent heat wave (or maybe gross neighbors) has changed that. We started seeing a small bug per night by a shared wall with our neighbors and after taking our own elimination measures, we no longer saw any adults but we started to see babies in our bathroom.
Naturally, because I am totally reasonable, I decided the problem would never be fixed and started avoiding going home, cooking, or leaving my bed after dark. Can you tell this is my first summer in New York?
Anyway, I called a few exterminators for quotes in case the problem persisted. None of them really relieved my stress — they actually made me feel like my problem was hopeless despite not being too bad. In fact, they all said, «Well, this *is* New York.»
Kary (I believe was his name) called me back quickly and is truly a bug-​stress therapist. He seemed surprised and impressed that we had caulked, baited and dusted on our own. He told me the babies are actually a good sign because it means we had killed the «moms.» He said we took the measures they would and that I shouldn’t expect to see the full result of our efforts until 30 days after — which is what they also tell their customers after they come as well. He didn’t try to sell me on their product, he told me to wait to see if MY measures worked first. He gave me their statistics. 90% of their customers need 1 visit. In a city that doesn’t offer guarantees as far as pests or neighbor’s responsibility for your shared wall, that’s pretty impressive.
For the first time in 2 weeks, I feel so relieved. I feel like my problem isn’t hopeless and almost want to say «WOO!» when I see a baby now. Because, you know, it’s working. And if it ends up not… well, I know I have an awesome (pet-​friendly) exterminator to work with.
