Gong Fu Spa

I thoroughly enjoyed the massage. The masseuse was very experienced and knew all the spots.

I went in today, with a Groupon for Pine Tree Health Improvement, and was a little nervous when I saw the Gong Fu sign – just confused as to whether I was in the right place. The massage therapist, «J.K.,» was EXCELLENT. He never laid a hand on me that wasn’t firm and full of purpose. I HATE going to get a massage where they nearly tickle. That was NOT the problem here. He checked in occasionally to be sure the pressure was OK. He has a VERY firm touch, so if you’re not into that, be sure to specify. I’ve never had a massage where there was a team effort involved – he would wait for the exhale to do a lot of the deeper tissue work, to be sure to maximize the movement. We were BOTH sweating in the first 10 minutes. He gave me a very thorough massage and stretch in my 90 minutes. I’ll be sure to ask for him the next time go, and every time thereafter. LOVE THIS PLACE. Perfect for athletes that suffer from muscle soreness and stiffness.

Not your prototypical spa but none of the last you will have a great experience. I have had the pleasure of attending this location for a few years now. Each time I go I get the 2 hour full body massage. There are no private rooms instead you have partitions. My personal preference is to reserve an appointment in the morning when there is less people. The employees are friendly and cater to your needs. Highly recommended.
