I asked for a massage with a lot of pressure and got medium pressure. It was $ 100 for 50 minutes so I was a bit disappointed. I probably should’ve asked for more pressure during the massage.
It looks like they’re known for their facials so if I went back it’d be to try that.

Its been about a year or more since I’ve started coming here. Everyone is so nice and welcoming! Just don’t let them talk you into getting a million packages cause I pretty much was sucked into it.
I’d recommend Joey for facials. She had a very good technique for massaging and cleansing the face but I’ve tried two others there, which are almost equally as good but I’d prefer Joey for it. For waxing, I think Susie is by far the best in my history of waxing. She understands the pain of it and does small spots rather than trying to be quick. She’s very knowledgeable with hair and shows you how to do it.
Overall, both ladies are very good at what they do and knowing it is good for my skin is a plus! Sometimes, they’ll offer beverages that are good for your skin like infused water.

I had my first ever wax here and the process was essentially painless! They do such a great job and have flawless service. Highly recommend it!

The prices are very fair especially if you get a package deal. They are also very accommodating. The last time I made a reservation for a Thursday they sent an email AND text confirmation for the date and time. For some reason, my mind was playing tricks and I showed up a day ahead of time apologizing for being ten minutes late! The counter lady asked me to wait 10 minutes and I was all set!
I’ve been here three times and was waxed by three different ladies and they try so hard to distract you and conversation flowed throughout the session. Everyone is just really sweet! My 6-​session wax also came with a free facial and I can’t wait to give that a try.

I’ve been coming here for waxing services for almost 5 years now. I got started on a Groupon, and haven’t stopped going.
I really like the staff here– if the waxing didn’t go well, likelihood that person is around past that week is highly unlikely. Their management has been very accommodating for deals on packages over the years– also with feedback on staff, both good and bad.
It’s clean here with professional staff.
Waxing hurts– it’s not worth screaming, but it doesn’t feel great. It’s the fact you’re ripping hair out, has nothing to do with the hard and/​or soft wax they use.

This little spa is great! What got me in was their 1^st time client discount on Brazilian waxes. If I’m going to spend $ 58 on a wax every month, I would like to at least try the place. This special is great, only $ 29 for your first time visit.
My estheticians name was Theresa and she was FANTASTIC! I felt absolutely no pain and she made sure I was doing alright through out the process. (She did a great and thorough job also!)
The rooms and equipment are very clean and tidy. The service rooms are also dimly lit, so you don’t have fluorescent lights beaming in your eyes.
I would highly recommend Theresa for your first visit! I will definitely go back.

I have been coming here for about two years, everything was great up until the last couple of months. I got a package with them for $ 240 and i paid a deposit of $ 20 to hold the package when I came again i paid the remaining balance which was back in April. Now in November they want to tell me on their end it is only showing i paid $ 80 and they basically are telling me i am lying. They are very unprofessional. I had other bad experiences with them in the past such as them over booking, and giving me the wrong appt times but this is just out of line.

My experience here has been amazing every time. I actually have bought many hundred dollars worth of Brazilian packages. This last time, i swear, it did not hurt. Don’t know how or why. But it didn’t. The white chocolate wax they use is so much better from a pain point and quick and easy. I highly recommend this place for waxing. Everyone is very professional and very good at what they do. They take extra care of hygiene, no double-​dip. Everything is clean and pristine. They can a be a bit pushy about buying their packages. But if you dont want it, stay firm and say no. But you wont want to :)

This was a rather disappointing experience from the beginning. First, let me begin with the appointment.
I purchased a first time client voucher from lifebooker and called to make an appointment. When I gave them my phone number, I was told that I can’t use my voucher because I am a returning customer. WHAT?! I explained to her that I have never been here before and don’t know why they have my personal information especially when I didn’t hand it out at the first place. The lady I was talking to then started speaking in a different language (maybe Chinese?) to another and said okay.
So the day of the appointment, I was there 30 min early and there were few people waiting as well. I explained that I am here early for my 4pm appointment and wouldn’t mind waiting if no one can take me. As i was filling out a consultation form, I realized that they only take cash for gratuity. So I explained to the lady in front that I am going to get my cash and come back before the time and that’s what I did.
When I came back 10 minutes before my appointment, however, there was NO ONE in front and I didn’t know what I was supposed to do. I said hello at one point but didn’t get any reply so I sat down and decided to wait till my appointment time. When it was around 4:05, someone did come out and noticed me but I had to wait another 5 minutes till I was actually taken inside.
The lady who was doing my waxing was definitely rushing and didn’t do a great job. She didn’t use the cloth and used her hand instead (so they can save on the cloth? I don’t know) and I felt very uncomfortable with the method, especially when she missed it a few times. I told her that the wax felt a little hot but she said «it is because some areas are more sensitive. It is okay» and didn’t do anything about it!!! She couldn’t let it cool a little bit? She was definitely rushing me and at the end and didn’t even bother putting any powder or lotion on. When I was getting dressed again, I found a small piece of waxing still hanging there too. This was definitely one of the worst experience I had. I also found some missing spots when I got home. It is also itching horribly as it is growing back. When done properly, this shouldn’t happen.
Even tipping, I gave her $ 12.25 with tax of $ 1.25 included and she gave me a look! The regular (why do they even call it regular when I see their deals every single site anyway) price for a Brazilian waxing is $ 59. I had to wait total of 20 minutes with no one in front and absolutely late for the appointment I had afterward. Yet I still gave her 18% tip despite the horrid job she did and you give me a look? I don’t know what she expected but I thought I was being nice. Now I wish I didn’t give her anything and won’t be back for sure.

I have never written a negative review before but unfortunately I have to in this situation. I feel this place is so deceptive, as this is the second time I’ve been completely blindsided. I’m actually quite disgusted with the whole thing and wish I didn’t have two more sessions so I would never have to come back there again!
I’ve been a customer for almost 5 years– going back to the Soho area location, which I loved and probably the only reason I kept coming back for all these years even though I live in Midtown. They used to give stamp cards that offered a free wax after a few waxes but nothing else was ever pushed onto me and it was always an extremely pleasant and pain-​free experience. However, this hasn’t been the case for a while. Every time I’m there I am being sold to (aggressively) and instead of them focusing on what they are doing, they are constantly giving me their sales pitch. Really annoying but I could deal with it since I used to be in sales, and understood the pressure they may be under. Hence, I gave in a few times and got packages and facials.
First time I did a facial, it wasn’t until I came to the register that I was told I needed to pay extra $ 30 for extractions. Some time later, I purchased a wax package with a «free $ 89 facial» but since I hated the last one, the lady convinced me that the hydro facial is the absolute best and is willing to give it to me as part of that package. Again, I come to the register and ask how much the facial was so I could tip based on original price and she tells me I still have to pay $ 50 for it! I could not believe what I was hearing. First of all, their facials are a complete waste of time. I get amazing ones at a day spa that are around $ 200 but definitely worth every penny. Apparently she said the hydro facial was originally $ 200 but gave me a discount. Seriously? I’m being completely honest in saying that both times my face looks worse than when I came in. Last time I broke out pretty badly and this time (so far) It’s dry, tight and irritated– I wish I had a before and after.
They may have made few dollars on me but lost a loyal customer in the end. Do yourself a favor and have them write things down for you before the treatment.

OK, so this four-​star rating is for the ambiance and services. I would have given five stars, and honestly, considered giving ONLY TWO because of the highly aggressive pushy add-​ons at the end of my already MAD EXPENSIVE facial.
Now, I have no problem paying a moderate to high price for quality service and I’m even more willing to stretch the rules and the budget where food is concerned. However, after I came in and paid $ 148 for a thorough and pleasant facial (with Eminence Organic Skin Care products-​the very same products I purchase for my daily use at home) I’m OFFENDED at how much money they tried to rip from my cold, poor, research assistant fingers!
You evil, pushy people behind the counter!
Stop telling me to buy the 3-​facial package deal because at $ 315 you say, «It’s very cheap». IT IS NOT!!!
I then went ahead and bought $ 170 worth of Eminence products (you have to buy them from an authorized retailer, and Go Green is one) because I was actually out of a few products.
On top of that they say, «You can put down a deposit on the package for facials»
…No thank you.
And because, you know, my prior refusals weren’t clear enough, I was tempted to say, «Seriously, back the f*ck up!» and I might do just that next time I’m there for a facial.
Anyway, my face had the pleasure of working with Anna today for a facial with extractions and microdermabrasion add-​on. I haven’t gotten a facial/​given my skin the spa love it so desperately deserves in several months, and normally once-​a-​month is the trick, so I felt it necessary to add on the extra services this go-​around. My facial included a brief scalp and shoulder massage and was overall an enjoyable experience. Anna was very nice and we made pleasant conversation.
The extractions were done carefully and everything in the spa is sanitary. Eminence products are as good as it gets, so anyone who comes here and isn’t used to this wonderful quality should be very excited! I love how clean everything is and the beds are pretty comfortable. If they weren’t such pushers I would consider giving their other services a try, but that’s out.
Microdermabrasion got my skin feeling like brand new and this facial was just what I needed to restore my pores to golden glory. I feel shiny and new and this was a gentle reminder that I should be getting back in gear for monthly facials and deep pore cleaning.
Mostly a great first experience, but if these ladies (and I use that term so loosely right now) ever try and shove another unnecessary «bargain» down my throat, THEY WILL FOREVER LOSE MY BUSINESS. Patrons beware, you will be financially harassed and feel like smacking these sales people.

I’ve been coming here for a few years for waxing and I’m never disappointed with their work. Clean, friendly, reasonably priced (I buy their packages), and also some of the least painful waxes I’ve ever had.
I agree with some of these reviews that they can push a little hard on selling products or additional services, but after I say «no» I’ve never felt any animosity or rudeness from them. They’re just doing their job!

After a friend’s recommendation, I finally decided to make an appointment. It was my first wax experience and it was unbelievable. I will never go back to shaving. It wasn’t painful or awkward like I expected. Theresa made it very comfortable and she was very sweet. The experience and outcome was much better than I expected, so I’m very pleased.
There’s a deal for new customers (50% off) or you can get a groupon. They also prefer appointments so try to make one before your visit. Walk-​ins are accepted but you might have to wait depending on the day/​time.

I’m so glad I came across this place on groupon. Joey is great when it comes to Brazilian waxes. She is quick, professional and closest to a painless wax I’ve ever had. She keeps you entertained with fun conversation which makes the process quicker. Can’t wait to try the facial she recommended!

I found a groupon deal for GoGreen Organic Spa – $ 29 for a Brazilian wax and decided to check it out while I was visiting the fam. The inside was esthetically pleasing. The receptionist was friendly as was my esthetician (her name is Joey). Joey has great bedside manner (I know some people don’t like chit chat while having a Brazilian but I kind of like it – I guess it distracts me from being nude from the waist down in front of someone I don’t know. She made sure not to double-​dip and she used an organic lotion afterwards. Did it hurt? Yes, that’s to be expected and it didn’t hurt to the point where I needed pain relievers or anything like that. After Joey was finished, I got dressed and when out front. I paid the tax and gratuity – funny thing, she thought for a minute that I wasn’t going to tip her – I do have some class! She offered a package deal for three Brazilian waxes for $ 100 with no expiration date. I thought that she was just a tad too aggressive with trying to sell me the package but I figure whenever I visit my family, I can get a wax. So why only three stars, well I got the wax on July 8 and by July 17 the hair was growing back (not full on but just quicker than normal – this isn’t my first rodeo with Brazilian wax as I’ve had several over the years).
So a quick recap:
B+ for service as far as client/​customer and staff interaction. They got dinged for being a bit too aggressive with selling the package
C for the Brazilian – the hair should not have grown back so fast

I went here for the first time & Tammy did my Brazilian. She was so sweet & she made me comfortable. Of course it still hurt like hell & I hate when people say it’s «no pain» when hair is being RIPPED from your lady parts. But she used hard and soft wax and the final results were GREAT! Smooth with no adverse reactions. I bought a package deal and already made a follow up appointment. The venue is serene and clean.

First time here, I got a Lifebooker coupon and with some discount I ended up paying $ 14.20 wo0o0oho0o0o cheapest Brazilian everrrrrr. I had an appt for 7pm with Teresa which was too late for me, so I went there earlier hoping she would see me earlier and she did, so I was happy. I was asked to fill out a form which was different for me, but I get it, they want to know what my skin is like, so that was cool. The product they sell are eminence organics which are cool, but damn they are very expensive. I am glad that Teresa did not try and push any products, but I wouldn’t be surprised if on the next visit she did. What she did push was a package, but I expected it.
I did buy 3 for $ 100 which is expensive for me, but I feel it will be worth it. Teresa did a great job and she made me so comfortable, she talked to me throughout and it was one of the less if not the least painless waxes I’ve gotten with hard wax which I don’t normally prefer.
The place is nice, small, but has a peaceful ambiance. Overall, I like the place. I have 3 waxes to go so I’ll keep you updated.

Highly recommend this spa — nice place, helpful service and good facial. I bought a lifebooker deal for an organic facial — was totally expecting crappy service as with most discounted/​voucher deals. However this was different, when she heard that I had a voucher, it didn’t seem like i was treated differently.
The place is quite dainty, and each room is spacious.
My esthetician was really nice and knowledgable (I regret forgetting to ask her for her name). Every step of the facial she would explain what she is putting on me and what benefits the product entails. It was really helpful because they usually don’t tell you anything and just sell you products. After a few detox masks, she started doing the extractions. Extractions are an extra $ 30 on top, which is pricey since the facial usually cost $ 85+. But it was a nice touch. She was really nice to throw in a few extractions. She was pretty good and it didn’t hurt as much as other places do.
The products smell amazing and my skin feels great! The facial and massage is also nothing less than amazing. I almost fell asleep because it was that good.
I ended up purchasing a night moisturizer and felt no way obligated to purchase. She was really informative about the product and taught me how to use it effectively.
I will return for a facial treat in the near future.

Let’s be real, NOTHING about a Brazilian wax is pleasant.
However, after getting a Groupon recommended by a friend I decided to come here for one. I have been previously going to a Threading spa in Midtown and that experience was beyond dreadful, I would literally miss my appointments because of not wanting to deal with some of the workers there.
First off they’re open until 8pm, which is a BIG plus for a working 9 – 6 gal like me. The ambiance of the place is great. They offer lemon water in the waiting room as well as several product brochures. I was asked to fill out a form, which I have never done anywhere else. Questions ranged from personal health to wax history.
My first experience was with Cindy and she was just wonderful! She’s pleasant, calm and talks the perfect amount of time. I understand trying to distract your thoughts from this painful experience so I’m game, talk away! She makes the entire experience much more pleasant which is honestly why I love coming here.
As for the wax, they used a hypoallergenic hard wax which is great for sensitive skin.
I am currently enrolled in a $ 200 for 5 Brazilian wax package. The Brazilian waxes are worth $ 58 so that’s a great deal!
Fast and Flawless. Yep, I’m a regular!!!

Came here for a Brazilian wax after I purchased a Lifebooker package. The location is nice and spacious, with lots of spa products lined up along shelves when you walk in. Reception is in the back. Filled out a paper and was ready to go in about 5 minutes. I was also a little early for my appointment.
Tammy was wonderful and very inviting. The room I was in was to the front, and the music was very soothing and relaxing. There was no other noises that I noticed. The room was prepped, clean and ready for me.
The experience was great. It was literally an almost painless experience. She used two types of waxes, hard & soft. They were organic of course. I’ve never had a brazilian where there was barely any pain. I was so surprised! After Tammy was finished, she let me know about all the products on the cart that I could use. It ranged from baby powder to ingrown hair serum to something else she put on a paper towel for me to remove any excess wax.
Will definitely come back after my Lifebooker package runs out. They do a punch card where the Brazilian waxes are only $ 45 (compared to $ 58) as long as you get the wax done within 6 weeks.

Great place. Came here for the first time today for a Brazilian. I was referred by a close friend who swears by this place and also by my family of Unilocalers online who gave this place 5 stars. Also, they had a $ 29 deal for new clients and I have a weekend in Montauk looming over my head– so better late than never, amirite?
When I arrived for my appointment, I was handed a form to fill out. This form made me feel great as they asked very detailed questions about my waxing history and skin concerns. After I finished, I was led into a back room by Theresa for my waxing.
The room itself was very dark and calm. And the music they played was relaxing. The walls are definitely thin though, so you could hear footsteps. But it was nothing distracting.
Now, I’ve never received a Brazilian that didn’t hurt. Ever. This experience was no different– there was definitely pain. And an immense, crazy amount of pain in two particular areas (which led to the 4 stars). But, it was much less pain than I was used to. Theresa asked me multiple times if the wax was too hot, and talked to me throughout the process to distract me from the pain. She could feel that I was tense, so did her best to help me relax, often telling me funny stories, or just asking about me in general. She honestly made me feel so comfortable.
Warning– It did hurt like crazy twice during the procedure. However, Theresa warned me in advance both times and did her best to minimize the pain after the wax was removed. I really appreciated that.
I was honestly so pleased with Theresa that right then and there I pre-​booked a long overdue facial with her next week. I’m so excited and will update my review when it happens. Thanks Go Green!
