The guys that work here are really helpful and take the time to make sure you have everything that you need. There’s a couple odd items that you wouldn’t expect to find in a hardware store, and then there are some things that you would expect to find that they don’e have. I wish they had more than 20 paint colors to choose from, but the choices that they do have are beautiful and would look great in pretty much any home :)

Great little hardware store right up the street. Really nice owners eager to help. It’s great to have in the neighborhood when you can’t drive to Home Depot. You won’t find wood here, but they have a little bit of everything.

This place stinks. The people are friendly, but they had nothing that I needed(shower head, proper dowel, wood for a shelf). I really needed Ace or Home Depot, which is where I ended up. I had keys made and had to go back twice. They still don’t work. I went to another place and showed him the keys and he said they used the wrong blanks and showed me why. Its not worth going back for $ 2, and its not worth going ever.

Friendly, convenient and cheap. Went in to get a key cut — took about a minute and cost only a buck.

Went in for an Allen key, they had packs of them for $ 3.

Basic little hardware store. It would be a 4 star if it had bulk drawers of screws and nuts and such, like other hardware stores have. I only needed one screw and one nut to go with it and had to buy the whole pack for $ 2. But, still, for the convenience, it’s fine.

Mr. Garcia is wonderful, and they seem to have everything you could want. He also fixes things! He did a great job fixing my lamp for a really low price.

I’ve been to Garcia about 10 times in the past week. It is jam packed with everything you could possibly need, and there always seems to be lots of people inside, too. It truly feels like a neighborhood hardware store with a moderate selection of pretty much everything.

Your basic hardware store, with very friendly and helpful staff. I got a couple keys cut there, and when one didn’t work, I brought it back and they re-cut it, no questions asked. When I asked for advice about installing my air conditioner and removing the bars that were screwed into my window with some kind of weird screws, some one offered to do it for me. For $ 40, but still. It was nice. They are closed on Sundays, which is unfortunate because it’s so convenient.

Jam packed with everything from locks to lightbulbs. Reasonably priced, helpful staff, and friendly. Keys are only $ 1 and let you bring in your dog.
