Gaji Gaji Janchijip Corporation

Very home style Korean restaurant. It’s in a very small coner of the street. Only few tables, but they cook very traditional Korean food. The side dishes are delicious and you can ask for more if you want. Recommend the Samgye tang, seafood pancake, pork tofu kimchi soup and fried pork with veggie and noodles. Price is good and the size of dishes is really big! Absolutely go there again!

Have to respectfully disagree with Andy… best samgyetang in town is yours to enjoy down the street at Hansol Nutrition Center. still though, very good! and lovely service.

I really loved the service here. The servers were very attentive, constantly bringing sauces, more banchan and kimchi, giving us more napkins. Very small corner restaurant with no English whatsoever on the sign. Had to request an English menu, which was very helpful with the descriptions. Their version of the seafood pancake was super delicious and not soaking in grease like at other places on that street. I had the pork bone stew with herbs and vegetables, which I want so much a fan of, but I would definitely come back to try something else. Give this place a try!

This place puts most of the «top» places in Korea to shame!
Mom & Pop (and Son) operated,
this place is like eating at some age-​old tried and true chef’s home for a holiday feast every day of the week.
Food is mostly Jeolla-​style mountain food. Very traditional and not-​so-​common (at least in America) dishes are served up in a super cozy spot with a small town «side room to the kitchen» atmosphere.
For real, this place saves you a trip to Korea.
Between jejudo and kaji kaji, there is no need for an airplane ticket.
BEST CHOKBAL (slow pressure cooked pork leg with herbs)
BEST bossam (similar to chokbal but different cut and less prep)
BEST ssam gye tang (ginseng and herb stuffed and stewed chicken)
BEST kimchi chigae
BEST taenjang chigae (simple fermented soy bean stew)
BEST chung guk jang (natto-​style ultra fermented soy bean soup)
BEST seol long tang (slow cooked beef bone soup)
+ BEST banchan. (which is more of a sign of a good restaurant than anything!)
Really this place will blow your mind.
I’ve eaten in just about every damn korean kitchen in this city, and Kaji Kaji is simply the best.
Truly, «As good as it gets!»
