In 2009, Sarah and Josh moved together to NYC and discovered a love for New York’s diverse food traditions. They began to envision a solution to make a home-​cooking experience that fit their lifestyles.

After winning the 2012 Food for Health Business Plan Competition at Mt. Sinai Hospital in NYC, Josh and Sarah created Fresh Routes to start offering people a different way to include home-​cooking in their lives.
