Went here bc of the high reviews, only had the soup which was fine, but left with my clothes, jacket, and hair smelling terrible! It’s all I could smell the whole rest of the day, and then had to get everything dry cleaned to remove the smell!

I just started working in Manhattan and discovered this neat place close by. I called in for a pick up and ordered the chicken bibimbap(~$ 9). I was surprised it came with miso soup, but I found it to be a little too salty. At a first glance the bibimbap looked kind of small, especially for $ 9, but I was pretty full when I finished. The chicken was very tender and flavorful and there’s more vegetables than rice which is a plus for me. This place will definitely be my go-to place whenever I don’t have time to bring my own lunch to work. Their salad bar looks interesting, so I might go for that next time.

First time trying this place out. Dope place with a dope selection of food. I didn’t try everything but it all looked good. There’s a grill at the front for your burger, Penni and wrap needs. And buffet in the middle and SOUP in the back! I had the chicken ramen soup and the best part about the in-store experience was that they cooked the soup right in front of you. You have the option of adding in your own ingredients which makes the soup that much better. Made literally how you want it. Great place to try when you need to get back to the office quickly for that afternoon meeting. #Clutch #Lit

I used to go here pretty frequently since it’s near my office, but I don’t think the service is great. I asked for a salad chopped once and the guy actually huffed at me and said«really??» Most recently– I went in for some phở. As I was eating it at my desk I found s short wiry black hair wrapped in a piece of the broccoli. Never going back.

This place is pretty awesome! There is so much variety and everything looked very good! I got the hot bar buffet $ 7.99/lb. The place is very spacious and cute. Try it!

when folks come up to midtown to meet me for lunch, and it’s an informal affair, this is the go-to. The seating area at the front is spacious and well lit, and the various food options(around a central buffet) are stellar. The soups, especially for this time of year, are a sure bet.

Fork & Spoon is ok. It strikes me as a tidier/cleaner version of the same generic Manhattan 1-Stop-Shop«delis» that you find on every other block in midtown. Nothing in my build-your-own salad struck me as particularly fresh or amazing, it was the same generic grilled chicken as the next place.

I ordered a ramen, and the cook popped open a ramen package to make it. Somehow I was expecting more«authentic» ingredients. So I canceled my order.

Food was very good in here and it was a lot. Multiple opportunities to choose what you want. I try couple of different chicken dishes and i really like. Place was convenient.

This is my frequent lunch spot. The place is spacious and clean. The food variety is great: there is a hot and cold salad bar, there are pre-made sushi and made to order sushi dishes, ramen and udons, bento boxes, sandwiches and platters. Prices are the same as everywhere else around the area. Spacious seating upstairs and a few tables by the entrance. Sushi boxes are buy one get one free after after 3 pm.

Pretty great lunch spot. Has everything you want in a pseudo-asian cafeteria. From the hot/cold bar to the fresh made noodle soups, this place has a bit of it all. I suggest the noodle soup station, always fresh, and you get to pick what ingredients go into the soup. Udon is great, and again, fresh.

SPENDYOURMONEYELSEWHERE. THISPLACEHASGONEDOWNHILL!!! Let me explain… My whole company and myself have been big supporters of this place from when they first opened. As of the last year or two, they have become increasingly rude and unsanitary. Today was the last straw… I had a late lunch(2:30, still lunch in my eyes) and ordered a veggie burger. The grill man was grilling bacon for the next morning and as he placed my veggie burger on the grill, I politely asked him to keep it away from the bacon since I’m a vegetarian. He looked at me perplexed and rudely said, we’re not making burgers at this time. The grill staff has been my biggest complaint, surly, unapproachable and not at all hospitable. I asked for a manager and the owner(older asian man) was on the register. I told him what transpired and he rudely waved me off… no apology(humor your customer for gods sake)…no nothing. Take your staff to a class on customer service and try again. I’ll wait and watch them shut down as this place is filthy and gross anyways(have a look at their kitchen… Most people only go for convenience anyway. Lots’s of great spots, like open kitchen, fresh bites and Blacksmith(with staff that is polite and helpful) in the area so no skin off my back. They can kiss it!

Like others say, this is a one-stop for all international cuisine! I wanted to try Phở and sandwich and maki roll at the same time but didn’t go to multiple places. Fork&Spoon solve my dilemma! It has really decent phở(veggie stock was great!!), soondoobu(korean spicy tofu soup), maki roll(great price, $ 4.75 for california roll), huge salad bar, sandwich bar and made-to-order salad bar… And the best part is the price. All are around $ 6.50-$ 7.95. Soondoobu was a bit watery but tastes fine. Fried fish sandwich was ok but not very good as the fish wasn’t hot. Whatever you order, the portion size is big. It has some tables too so you can eat there. Highly recommended.

Great lunch spot. They have everything under the sun — sandwiches, wraps, salads, sushi, Chinese, Italian, and more. Everyone will find something to eat. The guys making sandwiches are super sweet and quick.

Shocked that more people don’t know about this place! Not that I’m complaining… lines at even the halfway decent lunch spots in midtown are infuriating so this was a nice breath of fresh air. And this place is more than halfway decent. It’s…full-way decent? Fork & Spoon has just about anything you could want in a lunch spot AND you can’t beat the prices. I’m used to paying at least $ 12 for a salad elsewhere — here, a large salad w/5 toppings is just over 8 bucks with tax. My wallet was very happy with that one. And while there isn’t the whole«four free toppings + ____«deal that a lot of salad places in the area offer, it still ends up being cheaper. The free toppings at those establishments are boring and not nutrient dense — the good stuff is $ 1-$ 3.50 per topping. If you’re not careful, you can end up with a $ 16 salad that’s only okay. Not the case here. At Fork & Spoon, you can opt for the salad station like I did on my first visit, but there’s also a well-stocked, buffet-style salad bar. It’s got a nice variety of things — lots of fruit, grilled veggies, kale salad, quinoa, bok choy, roasted brussels sprouts, various hot food options(roasted chicken, roasted salmon, wings, mac and cheese) etc. And like everything else here, it’s reasonably priced. And if that doesn’t suit you, they’ve got an impressive sandwich/wrap menu that can lead you into a downward spiral of indecision(the perils of large menus). I’m giving this 4 stars for food but 5 for service. At a lot of salad spots I’ve been to, employees are brusque and not very personable. Here, the guy who made my salad was just sparkling with good vibes. Half of our conversation was in Spanish, which is always fun. At one point I asked for brussels sprouts(I was one of those kids who actually couldn’t get enough of those suckers — still the case today), which aren’t technically offered at the salad station. He just moseyed on over to the salad bar and popped some in the bowl, and that was that. Nice surprise. You gotta have a sense of humor working at a lunch spot in midtown — dealing with hundreds of hungry, impatient, corporate people is not an easy job. And this particular employee did, so kudos to him. Line is long but moves faster than just about every line I’ve seen. Sometimes I can’t tell if I even paid(I always pay, I say this to make a point, just to be clear). And just FYI, they do not ONLY give you a fork and spoon with your meal. While that would be cute and kitschy, it would be hopelessly impractical. I’ll save you the effort: cutting grilled chicken with a spoon does not work. It just doesn’t. What I’m saying is, they give you proper silverware with your meal, so don’t fret. Also — Fork & Spoon has Dr. Brown’s soda and Sweet Mint Orbit. Win.

Not a fan of fork&spoon. I mean it’s a quick lunch destination I get it. I used to work in the building two doors down and dreaded the days where I had 20mins to find and consume lunch because that meant fork and spoon was it. Food is ehhh, pricey but that’s midtown. I never buy any beverages from here unless I feel like I’m ballin’ and in that case I don’t want to ball out in fork and spoon on booze less drinks. Salad bar is decent but whenever I added any type of chicken to the mix it either tasted/smelled weird or I would end up with weird bits of chicken with the gristle. Very unappetizing. So I permanently pass. Ordering food during the am rush didn’t really fare that much better. I was once charged $ 2 extra dollars for extra avocado on my breakfast sandwich. It was literally half of a half that he sliced and spread out and kind of mashed to make it look like there was extra. Yea it was a whole«thing» The ONLY saving grace: the ramen/udon station. OMG, I walked three blocks in the rain today to get it. I’m a huge ramen fan(I lived on campus) and this is my favorite quick go to spot. It’s loaded with all the add ins I like(I always insist on «just a little bit more… please» I tip!!) and I like it super spicy with two limes. Yummmmm! This is why I am still a customer. The three stars are just for the Ramen, the packaged Ramen that I can barely let cool down so I can enjoy.

This is a great non tourist spot for an inexpensive, fresh salad. For 7.45, you can pick your choice of fresh greens, kale, or crisp romaine and add 5 toppings plus dressing of your choice. It is freshly tossed and delicious. I got the mixed field greens, grilled chicken, fresh avocado, feta, cucumbers and onion. What a fun find on NYC for a healthy lunch! My husband got the Italian hero special and thought it was pretty average but a good deal.

Typical American deli but with Asian options as well. IE phở, sushi, udon. I made my own salad here(large $ 7.25 with 5 toppings). Got the mixed greens with grilled chicken, diced tomatoes, black olives, mixed peppers, blue cheese, and chipotle dressing. This is the combo I generally get when ordering salads. But it just didn’t size up here. It tasted just okay to me. Wouldn’t go back for the salad, especially when better Asian food is just a couple blocks farther.

For a pretty bumping place, they do move quickly. what the hell are these guys drinking? The«Meatless Panini”(6.50) is pretty good. altho the downfall is the size. the other paninis look nice and thick, and of course mine wasn’t.story of my fucking life. but in all honesty – it was good. decent amount of veggies, the cheese could have been melted a bit more tho. i also had a veggie lentil soup(2.75) – very filling and good but deff wasn’t hot. my meat eating friend had the cheesesteak and she loved it. it was large and in charge and had great flavour. when things are the«specials of the day», they come with a soda or other drink! score! its pretty cold downstairs where you can sit so beware! $ 5 min for credit cards
