DISHONEST. I purchased 70 lashes per eye on groupon and only received at most, 55 per eye.
I’ve gotten lashes done elsewhere so I was a little suspicious when she was able to finish in only about 50 min (usually takes 1.5 hours). It wouldn’t cross my mind that she’d rip me off so I didn’t bring up any issues after the session. After counting my lashes numerous times, I was livid to find out how untrustworthy this business was. I called and requested that if indeed, they counted and found that it was less than 70, to refund my purchase or upgrade me to 90 lashes per eye for basically lying to me and wasting my time and money just to go back there. She agreed but had the audacity to ask me to pay more for their wrongdoing.
I demanded a refund (at this point, I didn’t want them anywhere near my eye). They «happily» refunded me the tips I paid but said a full refund was impossible 1) because they already did my lashes and 2) I purchased through groupon. I grabbed my info off their desk as they have no right to my personal information especially given the nature of their dishonest business. The manager attempted to snatch it from me saying that she needed it. This was beyond inappropriate and unprofessional. They tried adamantly to tell me to get on their table so they can remove my lashes since I asked for a refund. Keep in mind that they weren’t even giving me my money back. I told them several times to count my lashes which they responded with hesitance. I took that as a sign that they knew they were in the wrong from the beginning.
My friend and I both had very sparse lashes in which she responded saying they use different extensions from other places. But honestly, these look haphazardly done and cheaper than the other ones that I’ve been to. They don’t expect people to count them. I feel like they secretly put on less so that you would go back to get it filled more often.
Luckily, I called Groupon and was able to cancel my Groupon with them and get credit back but I STRONGLY urge you to stay away from this place. You will not get what you paid for.

Amazing place! Needed lashes done for graduation and the place I usually go to in UES was fully booked so luckily stumbled upon this gem of a find. When I first came in I was a little skeptical since I didn’t have time to research the place and was basically a walk in appointment to a place just off of google. It didn’t look like the salons I am used to, but the staff was so friendly and welcoming made me feel comfortable to go through with it and the results were phenomenal. The process itself was very comfortable, pretty fast (about 40 minutes, full), and I was In love with the how they looked. Safe to say this is my new go to place for lashes! Bye UES

I’ve visited Forever Eyelash a few times, and have only ever had great experiences. The consultants are very nice and helpful. I’ve referred my friends, and they love it as well. Also the pricing is very reasonable!

I purchased a deal
On groupon. First they refused to honor it which made scheduling quite an unnecessary task. The supervisor was very rude. My technician was very slow. Took her an hour each eye. Then they have a mandatory 20 $ tip. One eye was fuller than the other. I would never go back.

Beautiful, natural looking lashes. They last (for me) about one month. This place is a definite go-​to lash salon. The staff is nice too. I get compliments all the time, and people can’t believe they’re not mine.

I love this place! Everyone is warm and welcoming and this is the only place I will go in NYC because they do the best job!

The place is very clean and calm. The girl who greeted me and applied my lashes was super sweet. The application process went smoothly and my lashes looked great. It has now been two weeks since my application and I have a fair amount of lashes still left.
The reason for the three stores is for the older woman (probably the owner) who tries to hustle you for a large tip. I left a $ 20 tip for my specialist and she tried to hustle me for more saying that the Groupon didn’t cover the tax. I asked what’s the tax and she couldn’t give me an answer. I’m a generous tipper and I believe $ 20 was enough for the $ 47 Groupon I purchased.
Definitely will not be back for this reason.

On my continued quest for amazing lashes in NYC I landed myself here at Forever Lash. I purchased a Groupon for 70 lashes per eye.
I woke up this morning and saw that 6 of my lashes fell off from my right eye. This being only 3 days after initial application!!! Thats a big no no for me. The girl who did my eyelashes was very quick and gentle. It only took her only about 45 – 50 minutes for both eyes which anyone who knows about lashes knows that is really fast. With the Groupon they offer you either mink or silk and I asked for the mink. When I got up and looked in the mirror these lashes looked and felt like silk to me. I am very very experienced in lashes and I would never have guessed that these were «mink.» Mink gives you more of the dark mascara look and these just did not have that luster. To add to my dismay as another Unilocaler mentioned she TOLD ME aggressively how much tip I HAD to give for the service and was standing over me waiting as if she wouldn’t let me leave if I didn’t give her the suggested amount. I always tip my lash ladies nicely as lash application is a tedious job but I definitely do not want to be told how much I HAVE to give. That was a major turn off for me. I gave her exactly what she asked for which was way more than she should have gotten and walked out because I will not be returning. CONS: supposed mink, early shedding and tip haggling. No thanks! There are way too many lash places in NYC for this!

I’ll preface what I’m saying by the fact that I’ve been getting eyelashes done for about three years now. Individual lashes… Not those clumpy, hair-​glue nail salon clusters either.
I know how to take care of the lashes, how they should feel and how my eyes typically react.
I came to FE on a groupon. The woman down below?.. 100% correct.
They upcharge you. I’m kind of used to it at these kinds of places so I pretty much was prepared to «Uhhuh» «Ok» «Whatever» to anything with hopes that I was still getting a steal on an amazing job… like I’m used to.
I got upsold on the next set of lashes after 70 because 70 wouldn’t look full on me. Who the hell sells half sets? … Or why are my eyes so big? Ha! Then of course I had to pay tax (which was a random whole number, btw), a credit card fee and the difference between the two packages. «Whatever».
Then I had to tip… Yes, I had to tip. I gave her $ 7 and can you believe the older woman goes, 18% is $ 8 do you have a dollar more… At this point, I’m tired and I literally had $ 2 left, I’m just like, «Ok». TOTALLY «NOT COOL». Don’t pressure me.
As I was leaving the very nice old woman gave me a hug and complimented me on the «beautiful» lashes. At that point, I’m over this place. I’m just like «Uhhuh».
Girllll… Guy… Forever Eyelashes… Whoever is reading this… They barely last the two weeks and I’m back again for the refill I had already paid for in the Groupon.
Lets just say, that will most likely be the last time I visit them. My lashes barely lasted a week and I did nothing different. The lashes were all over, everywhere. And no, not my lashes. JUST THE FALSE LASHES. That was probably my last straw. I can’t keep paying for services unworthy of money… If you value your time and money you’d think again. Tip that!

Dina did a great job applying 70 eyelashes to each eye. She is very skillful and fast. It took her just under an hour. The place itself is clean and well kept. The tip suggested by the administrator was $ 14 which I was totally ok with since I was happy with the results. Someone wasn’t happy about the suggested tip in their review, but no one wants to work for free.
I would totally recommend this place to a friend.

I went to Forever Eyelash because a friend recommended them a month ago. And now, I am hooked. I got the 70 lashes and have been careful with them — so they’re still looking good after a month with a few fallouts. My eyelashes look full but natural, which was exactly what I was looking for.
My technician was very sweet and I was so comfortable that I fell asleep. They typically take up to an hour but mine took 45 minutes.
I gave my technician 20% tip because she 1. did a fantastic job and 2. it’s not an easy task to glue each extension to an eyelash.

Lovely place! I’ll make it short. Really great patient workers. I purchased the groupon. Very comfortable. I only give four stars because they really push the tip, which is VERY annoying. Making it seem damn near mandatory. Other than that I recommended.

Bought a groupon and I only bought it because Unilocal gave it such strong reviews. It’s been almost a week and the lashes are still in tact. I have my two weeks next Monday. The location is convenient and the staff was friendly. It is your standard large room with four beds laid across. I had a 7pm appt and it was nice and quiet.

I’ve been looking through numerous eye lash places and I decided to go here and I’m so glad I did! I found a groupon deal for 70 lashes per eye with one touch up (must be within 2 weeks of 1^st appt)
I was a afraid 70 wouldn’t be enough but it came out so beautiful and Dina did such a great job! I usually get a C lash — 11 for a very natural look but I really wanted a fuller but not dramatic look so I went for 11/​12C lash. Glad I went longer! You can see the full long lashes but it’s not too crazy or dramatic. The place is kind of small but it’s very clean and calm and relaxing.
So far so good. Ive been getting my lashes done every 3 weeks so I know about how they’re supposed to be. I’ve had such horrible experiences at other places but I really like this place and think ill keep coming here.

They did a great job with my lashes! They did however charge tax on top of the groupon price and did push me to tip a large amount so take that into account. It was a little tricky to find as its inside a building. I attached a few pics

The process is long and the beds are not too comfortable but if you want people to notice your lashes and you really want to feel pretty with amazing eyelashes they are the place to go.
Do not expect your lashes to last for a long time. The longer they are the quicker they will fall out.
Their is no privacy or air movement in the room which kind of sucked but all in all the leases turn out nice.
Tip: do not wear your contacts to get lashes done and expect the glue to burn for a few minutes after the lashes are done.

I really wanna like this place. My eyelash lady did a great job. By the owner pushed me to tip a shit load of money… I am too much of a nice person and I complied.
I purchased a groupon to do my lashes and have yet to be disappointed in NYC. This place is no different, great service! But No other place charges tax and forced tip to their clients– and I am good tipper.
Apparently she wanted me to tip HER price. The amount I paid wasn’t worth the groupon in the end. Only because there is TOO much of a great competition in NYC, not because she didn’t do a great job.
I could have gotten my lashes done perfectly, cheaper price without the emotional pressure of tipping practically 40%.

I had purchased a Groupon for eyelash extensions and touch up with no expectations whatsoever. I naturally have short lashes, which I have come to accept over the years, but decided to mix things up by trying out eyelash extensions. From the very beginning, the ladies at Forever Eyelash were very helpful and accommodating. With my hectic work, rotation, and academic schedule, I was unable to come in for my first appointment until one day after my Groupon expired. I had talked to Julie on the phone explaining my situation and she was kind enough letting me come in the day after the Groupon’s expiring date while still using the Groupon deal. Right off the bat I had a great impression of Forever Eyelash as a business who works to please their customers in any way. On the day of my appointment, I was running very late due to a last minute issue that had come up. I had called in to let them know I would be 20 minutes late, but unfortunately I was unable to make it until 45 minutes after my scheduled time. Despite being almost an hour late, Forever Eyelash took me in with a smile on their face, even though their policy at that point would generally be to reschedule the appointment to a later day.
The set up is actually smaller than what I expected, as they have a reception area in the front, and a larger room on the side where the magic is done. Of the 4 beds available, only one was being occupied at the time. The technician took my coat and my other items, placed them to the side, and then got to work. The first time for a set of 90 (?) lashes, the entire process took approximately 1.5 hours, close to 2 hours. The actual placement of the eyelashes was pretty painless, but I did feel my eyes twitching constantly (but that was probably due to my lack of sleep the day before). The room was pretty quiet except for the radio playing top 40, but I got some necessary shut-​eye during the appointment. Overall, I was super satisfied with my results and for the first 48 hours, I was pretty much batting my eyelashes way more than I should have been (but it looked that good!) Just a tip: the first time I went, I had my eye makeup already applied but during the process, my eyeliner was smudged a bit I would recommend coming in with no makeup.
Also, the technicians teach you on how to take care of the eyelashes: no contact to water for the first 24 hours (yes that means no shower for the first day), no use of mascara, and no use of oil-​based makeup remover. I noticed some minor fall outs on the first day, after that, once the glue hardens, the eyelashes pretty much stayed on pretty well for the first week. It was a struggle to not rub my eyes and such, but I got used to it. The results are worth it! I noticed that with the eyelash extensions, I didn’t even need to wear eye makeup that much and could just literally roll out of bed and not have to do anything!
My groupon included a retouch within two weeks of the original appointment day, so I came back exactly two weeks later. I had gotten the C-​9 last time but no length is never too long so I decided to go a bit longer and get the 11. Once again I was super happy with the results!
Overall, I would definitely recommend Forever Eyelash and can definitely see myself coming back in the future. And hey, you also get a really good nap in the process, what more can you ask for? I’m just afraid that this is just the start of an addiction, but the sacrifices you take to have normal-​looking eyelashes right?

I first found out about this place via Groupon I opted for the diamond set 130 lashes with the refill.
Several week’s later I’ve been back I think 3x slowly getting longer and thicker lashes. They look natural and I love not having to put on makeup on the morning!
I currently have 13 – 14 c curl mascara lashes (diamond) go big or go home. These ladies are very sweet and don’t make fun of my snoring lol. I’m a confirmed addict.
