Fishers of Men

This place is my favorite fish place. Their seasoning is delicious! It is like how KFC makes chicken taste good, Fishers of Men make their fish taste good.

The restaurant is closed and replaced with another establishment. Very disappointing!!!

I adore their seasoning for their fish and shrimp. It’s never too hard, always soft and flavorful. If you like fried fish and flavorful coating with taste, this is the place. I only have to use minimal condiments. They give you a lot of food for your money
The restaurant is not all that sparkly clean, but that’s probably because they fry fish and everything else there. After one day of frying anything, my kitchen needs a deep clean-​so there’s that heavy, coated and sticky atmosphere-​same thing in this venue. I love the food, but I don’t stay there and eat. It’s more of a pickup and go type of place.
The employees are pretty friendly, and are focused on getting you your food quickly and correctly. They have a religious affiliation, and don’t allow profanity or strange solicitation in their place-​so you can bring children. Also they close pretty early, so if you want your food, get there before 6pm.

The fish was great. A huge improvement over the standard fried Whiting we get around here. Went well with the wheat bread and a touch of Trappys pepper sauce.
The fries looked hand cut, but tasted out of a frozen bag. Dry, needed salt and ketchup.
And for some reason, they gave me the best Orange Crush I have ever had.
This place is extremely friendly, and a great place to get out of the cold and get some great food.

Patronized for the first time. Service was great. Had a order of fish. Seperate order of shrimp, mac & cheese, collard greens, and lemonade. Great fish, not oily at all. Shrimp light and flavorful, nicely done. mac and cheese, was done with ziti noodles. i personally feel a taste of seafood’s mac and cheese is better. But still good. Collard greens were a bonafide hit. Lemonade was refreshing. A lot of people were ordering fish sandwiches which were piled high with fish. My server was nothing short of welcoming. This is a go-​to for seafood in Harlem.

Consistently clean with plenty of seating and good fish. What more could you ask for. While you can enjoy your fish inside or outside on the bench right outside the front door it doesn’t matter. This place knows their fish. The newer location is now exclusively fish. Run by a church, there will always be gospel music playing. Another location on 125^th Street.
