If you’re like me and not into the idea of a traditional engagement/wedding ring then you will LOVE this place! The shop may be small but step inside and there’s a really great selection of vintage and antique rings as well as necklaces, bracelets, brooches etc. I’d been to a few other antique/vintage stores beforehand and found that those pieces with the statement look that I was after to be a bit too far north of my price range :( So I walked into this store — having read about it in a Time Out article a while back — a little tired and worn out from the ring shopping thus far. Ron, one of the owners, was so friendly and is a real character! He let me try on as many rings as I liked, browse at my leisure, patiently answered my many questions and I never once felt like I was being pressured into buying something which I find can sometimes be the case when shopping at a smaller store. I also thought that the prices were very reasonable considering that I’d previously gone to places like Macy’s and Kays just to see what was out there and found that it was more expensive to buy a plain wedding band there… I left without purchasing anything that day as I like to think things over(and over and over and over…) but came back a few days later to buy a beautiful ring that I couldn’t stop thinking about. He had the ring resized in less than 24 hours and all polished up and sparkling like new by the time I picked it up. The lure of the many other lovely rings plus the great customer service will see me coming back as often as my bank account allows me!

I was walking by here, and a family stopped me and wanted to meet and pet my dog. A worker barged out the door of this store, talking on his phone and not even bothering to stop his conversation(I was confused at first, because I thought he was still talking to his friend or whomever), and yelled at me to leave and not to let my dog pee on his stoop. First off, my dog wasn’t making any gestures toward doing that, and secondly, at least be polite enough to me(and your phone friend) not to talk to two people at once! Horrible.

I purchased an antique ring at this tiny little show, and was very pleased with both the jewelry and the friendly service(including complementary liquor!).
