I LOVE this store! When I come to the city I always stop in to see what’s new. The accessories are unique and creative! Located across from Carnegie Hall you can ALWAYS stop in for a scarf, necklace or really cool hat to compliment your outfit. The staff is friendly & helpful. Sunday there was a great sale where the 2^nd item was half price. I’m going to be in Manhattan on Thursday and Eve Bari will be my FIRST stop!

Very helpful, great selection of styles and colors. I went for a fascinator for a wedding, and left with that, and a sun hat, too. Well priced, convenient, and good hours, too.

I discovered this place as I was strolling by. I saw her display of headbands in the window, so I walked in to take a look. There were decorative hats, scarves, jewelry, everything. I ended up leaving with two headbands and a ring. I’ll stop in another time when I’m in the mood to find something unique.

I found a great fascinator here at a reasonable price (for an NYC small business).The owner was also very sweet and attentive. I would come back with any future hat needs.

I agree with the other reviewer. They have some beautiful hats for the Derby. In general, such a wonderful way to add to an outfit. I had Mercedes help me, she was extremely helpful. I look forward to coming back to get some beautiful hats

I stopped by during lunch to look for a fascinator to wear to a horse race — great selection and Eve is so sweet and helpful! Definitely go here if you’re on the hunt for a Derby hat or headpiece. Eve has a wide range of styles and colors, and she enthusiastically helped me try on and adjust a bunch of them. When I decided that the headband on a fascinator was too thick (and would be painful to wear all day), she detached it for me and gave me a thinner headband to try. She also has clutches, scarves and jewelry. Definitely the best customer service I’ve had at a shop in a long time.

Little Midtown jewel — European-​style accessories shop! I had walked past this store many times and always just looked at the windows until a few days ago, as temperatures were dropping I decided to take refuge and explore. I was greeted by Eve who is probably one of the nicest and most welcoming saleswoman I have met. She gave me my space and time to browse around and gave me good tips and feedback as I was trying different things on. Prices are accessible and of good quality. I like the feeling of buying special items in a special/​unique store and this is exactly how I felt as I walked out that night with my new hat, scarf, and lovely pair of gloves.

A fixture on W 57tth street for years, this is my go to place when shopping for s gift for my girlfriend. Jewelry, hats, hair clips, fascinators, scarves, shawls, handbags and more… you name it… she’s kept everything I’ve given her. Knowledgeable sakes staff always seems to suggest the perfect present. Located in midtown west.

Sweet cozy shop filled with accessories… scarves, hats, jewelry. I needed to buy something for a friend’s birthday, and had kept putting it off, and it was getting down to the wire. I’ve probably passed this store 100 times and always just sort of looked in the window but always in a hurry, I never stopped in. But this time I did, and found a really lovely scarf for my friend (and a hat for me).
The sales woman Lorraine was very nice and helpful, she left me alone when I said I was just browsing, and then helpful when I had questions.

Great things come in small packages. This tiny store is a hidden treasure, i work around the area and I use my lunch time to walk around and for some «odd» reason I always end up inside Eve Bari. Amazing and unique pieces can always be found, and although the price is a bit high, is definitely worth it. As a woman I never want to run into anyone wearing the same items I am wearing and I know that purchasing a piece from Eve I will never run into that issue. And to add to this awesome experience is Eve’s friendly and welcoming approach. Love this store!

This is the perfect little gift shop with friendly service and tons of options in terms of budget (ranging from around 20 bucks and up for a majority of items). I went in looking for a bday gift and found a beautiful unique necklace-​earrings set for $ 30 — many whimsical choices — don’t go in looking for cheap gifts — this is a great place again for those looking for a decent gift in a mediocre price range. What sets it apart is the amazing customer service by both the owner and staff to figuring out what I was looking for and trying to match gifts within my budget. The cashier took her time to make sure the presentation of my gift was just perfect. I definitely will be back to buy gifts for those special people in my life… perhaps get something for myself too!

I was walking past the store yesterday and saw the perfect hat in the window. (Both windows had marvelous hats and umbrella’s and scarves) I popped in and purchased the hat. Let me tell you: the two ladies working were such a treat, so helpful and gracious. I will most definitely shop here again. Such a NYC GEM!

On a beautiful Sunday afternoon — one of the first for New York’s spring this year — I was happy to finally leave his apartment. It was nearing 6 by now, but the sun still hung overhead and New York was blooming: The grand fountain burst with life, tourists lingered, and moms pushed strollers as friends strolled lazily along the shops.
I tipped down my sunglasses to take in the scene as I walked by. I’d missed all of it today, but I didn’t mind. With every new phase, the world stops a bit and some things hold you back … little conversations, fresh tomato salad, blue eyes, soft hands. But I had managed to step away from the distractions finally, and I was heading home to work. Determined now, I tipped my glasses back up and turned the corner on 57^th, heading for the N train.
A few feet away from the subway, I glanced over at a window display to see if my reflection captured my feelings. And there I was: curls flowing free and wild, no makeup, just youth passing by a shop … and beyond that: pearls, feathers, gemstones … wow.
Without hesitation, I took off my glasses and stepped into the store. The little bell announced my arrival, and the shopkeeper looked up. Her winning smile beckoned me to stop by her first, where a long row of rings lay by the checkout machine. I pushed each one gently on my fingers, marveling at my newly grown nails adding elegance to my hands.
I put down the rings and walked around the tiny store. A collection of feather headbands hung from the shelves along the wall. I’ve always considered these ridiculous — and loathing ridiculous fads, I never thought to try one on. But spring makes you do «crazy» things, so mindlessly, I picked up the most ridiculous one. And there I was: My curls still free as ever, the side of a peacock growing out of my head. Ridiculous … and yet … I liked it. I took it off and picked up another one, a less flamboyant one this time. It looked like a crow had found shelter in my hair, hanging out only its one black wing, lined at the bottom with lace and a cluster of gems. Brilliant.
The shopkeeper walked over and complimented my curls, and I heard myself bubbling on and on about my cool new haircut. As I talked, I took off the headband and flipped it over. $ 39, it showed back. «Ugh, New York,» I thought. (I much preferred the topside.)
There’s nothing I hate more than the idea of overpaying, even for something as girlishly precious as a beautiful feather headband. So I put it down, took another eyeful of the shiny little store on 57^th and walked out.
So close to the train, so removed from my expectations. It happens. And yet, I know I’ll be back here. …

Nice «little» shop — lots of accessories to choose from — drawback — pricing — I still purchased though (crazy I know — especially paying $ 36.00 for a pair of fingerless mittens — they were cute though — but could’ve gotten them much cheaper and found a pair that was MUCH warmer). BUT they are cute. If you’re a big spender — then this is the spot for you. Otherwise — shop around or better yet — learn how to crochet: D.
