Just a good place to practice, no frills. I am not a professional musician so I cannot make full use of the facility. You should call before making a appointment, walk-​ins is something that’s not encouraged unless your a known professional musician, maybe.

What can I say about euphoria? The professionalism is second to none. The gear, second to none. The vibe, second to none. I have been rehearsing here since I was first introduced in 2005 and It has spoiled me. I would NEVER rehearse anywhere else. In fact, it sounds better in the room than at any gig I’ve played. I HIGHLY recommend euphoria to any and all musicians. Simply put, it’s the best around bar none.

Wow, this place is awesome. My bandmate and I were visiting from San Francisco, and needed a few days of rehearsal in NYC before a show. David was really helpful, funny, and let us keep some gear in his office so we didn’t have to lug a guitar around the city. Rooms were clean with top-​notch equipment. Gustavo even helped me tune my snare drum to perfection. Highly recommend this studio!

Euphoria is THE BEST place to go in NYC for rehearsals! I have lived in NYC for 12 years and rehearsed my bands in many spots, nothing compares. The staff is very cool and together, they are completely on top of their game in terms of set up, gear, sound, and recording. Good gear is SO important at a rehearsal, I’ve been to so many places where the gear is total crap. These guys truly value their customers and musicians. The bathrooms are immaculate and the lobby area is comfortable and welcoming. I’m a singer primarily, and I can always hear myself clearly through the monitors, I never feel like I’m straining because the dial in the sound correctly. They keep the rooms clean and in great shape, and you really feel the positive effects of the good environment you’re working in. All the greatest musicians come to Euphoria, and the proof is on the walls. Do yourself a favor and go see Dave, spend your rehearsal day there, you will be very pleased. Don’t even bother wasting your time on other rehearsal spaces in NYC! My last rehearsal I had at Euphoria was one of the best music days I’ve had in a long time, largely in part due to the amazing set up they had ALREADY WAITING for me before I arrived, the killer sound, and the willingness to get me what I needed in order to feel comfortable. Simply the best.

Euphoria is quite simply the best place to rehearse in Manhattan. Period! You have the best gear (which is maintained well), a very attentive staff, and a very relaxed and professional atmosphere where all the top players rehearse. What more could you want? Hands down the best place to rehearse!

I’ve held several rehearsals at Euphoria, and I’ve never been disappointed. Euphoria’s staff is friendly and efficient (you get your own sound-​man to dial up the perfect mix for your band!), and their selection of gear is first rate. Dave is friendly and engaging, and he’ll even help you set up one of your amps (and tell you all about how to get the best sounds from it, too!). I’ve been to several other rehearsal spaces in the city, and I’m never going back to them. Euphoria is that good. Do it!

I’ve been coming here for 10+ years, and there is no question: this is the best rehearsal studio in NYC for professional musicians, hands down. Owner Dave Sokol is the reason. He sets an incredibly high standard for his staff, his gear, his studio environment, and his overall musician-​friendliness – a standard that no other rehearsal studio in town comes close to matching. Highly, highly recommended.

Best rehearsal studio in NYC! Dave takes good care of the players, and the equipment is top notch. I love the Matchless combos. I rehearse here with some pretty high-​level acts and they’ve always done right by us. Highly recommended!

Simply the best rehearsal studio in NYC. As a working NYC drummer for almost 30 years I can say I’ve played in just about every reputable rehearsal space in Manhattan and none can touch the quality of experience I get at Euphoria. This place is a serious players space, with only four rooms it is an intimate experience, very different from the large sprawling multi-​room rehearsal studios across town. This is not the place to come if you want to smoke-​up in the stairway and bring a six pack into the room. There is a strictly enforced water only, no food policy in place here! Because of that the rooms are clean, all the equipment works and nothing is sticky. The owner, Dave is very personable, a drummer himself, he has outfitted all four rooms with will maintained pro level drum kits and gear. The guitar amps are excellent and many are unique and Dave will be happy to tell you the history behind them… Never had a bass player complain about the rigs either. They offer full recording to CD off the board with individual mics for drums and instruments. The techs will work on the mix with you so you can walk out with a quality recording of your rehearsal, a most valuable tool. They will also gladly throw the kick drum or snare up in the monitors so those little jazz kits rock loud and hard, always puts a smile on my face… Glad I will be playing there for 3 hours tonight!

As a full time professional musician, I’d like to say that Euphoria is the best studio I’ve been in New York.
The difference between Euphoria and all the other studios in Manhattan is that it gives the musicians all the tools to think about music and art.
There’s nothing else to worry besides playing and having a good time: the gear is excellent, the place is super clean and always ready to go — when you book the room, they ask you what will be the group instrumentation — so when you arrive there, all the microphones, amps and wires are set and ready to rock.
Plus, both the owner and the employees are super polite and available to help with the sound or any other issues at any time.
As an artist, I always get inspired at Euphoria, since the combination of organization + cleaningness + perfect gear + happy vibes + the most amazing pictures of famous/​killing musicians rehearsing there make me wanna run home and write a new song, or practice a challenging thing, or just feel grateful that I can play music for a living :)

I’ve been going to euphoria for at least 15 years. The place is clean and well outfitted and I always get great help from the staff. It’s expensive compared to some, but there is a reason why so many of the top NYC (and around the world) musicians end up rehearsing there; it’s a very pro environment.
Recently did a recording with aj and his presence was invaluable and the session went without a hitch.
Added today: did a session here today and the sound and service were fabulous

Easily the best rehearsal space in NYC. Always great WORKING amplifiers, great gear in general and a GREAT sounding PA. If you care about your music, there is no other place to go.

Fine rehearsal place for middle aged jazzers and other easy listening types. Great equipment and studios, but not cheap. The owner is psychotic though so try to avoid dealing with him if you end up booking there.

Horrible! Euphoria Studios (a.k.a. Euphoria Productions) denied my rescheduling request given with 50 hours advance notice (they need 72, I was told) after a key band member had a family emergency. Resigned to using the original time block as best we could, I called the evening before to ask whether they might at least compromise by letting me use only two of the hours I had reserved rather than charging me for all three.
In leading up to asking this, I explained about the prior refusal of my rescheduling request. Before I could get any further, the studio representative surprised me by saying they WOULD allow us to reschedule for the following week. Great! I thanked him profusely for reversing the earlier turndown.
But then he called back at half past midnight, hours after band members had been notified that they were free to make other plans for the following day, and said he’d been mistaken about their policy and that they WOULDN’T reschedule or refund my 50% deposit. I vigorously protested that everyone had already been notified to make other arrangements, but to no avail.
When I pointed that while such shabby treatment of their clientele might gain them a few bucks in the short run in forfeited deposits, it was hardly going to encourage repeat business, he said «WE’RE NOT REALLY CONCERNED ABOUT REPEAT BUSINESS – we have plenty of bookings.»
He quickly lost patience with my protests and snapped, «Look, do you want the time or not?» I got as far as saying, «Well, umm…» when he snarled, «You’re cancelled» and hung up on me.
I have not seen their facilities. Perhaps they are fine. But I certainly would not recommend having anything to do with a studio whose staff treats their customers like this.
