If I would have reviewed this place after the first time I went, it would’ve been 5 stars. Millie, the woman who did my laser was great and immediately I saw a huge difference in my hair growth. The results were so impressive.
If I would have reviewed this place after the second time I went, it probably would’ve been 1 star. I had Yana, who is the manager there, and she was nowhere near as thorough as Millie. For example, for bikini, Millie did the sides and the top of the bikini area, Yana only did the sides. For full leg, Millie also did a quick run over each big toe, Yana of course did not. After my 2^nd visit, I really didn’t experience much of a difference at all, and my results from the 1^st visit seemed to have vanished. I wouldn’t call that part Yana’s fault, apparently it’s very normal for a results to fluctuate since all of your hairs are in different growth cycles at any given time. After I realized this, I thought it would be best to wait until my year of «unlimited» laser was complete to give an accurate review.
In the time that I’ve been going to Elite, I’ve seen at least 6 different laser technicians. I always point out my tattoos to these technicians since I’ve been warned that if the laser goes over the tattoo, it will hurt like hell. And it did hurt like hell when one technician did just that! It actually hurt for several weeks.
Almost every time I’ve been there I’ve had to wait in the waiting room, regardless of the fact that I had an appointment scheduled. They have two rooms and only one of the rooms is used for laser so only one client can ever be seen at a time. The other room is for «cavitation». If you ever have to reschedule an appointment here, I feel very sorry for you. They sell so many groupons and jam pack their schedules, it is very difficult to get an appointment that fits your schedule unless you make your next appointment while you’re in their office for your appointment. Not to mention the difficulty of making an appointment over the phone due to most of their employees’ heavy accents.
As far as many actual laser results, they’re okay, but not as good as what I expected. Results can be very misleading since at some times you’ll look at the areas that you’re having lasered and think that the laser is working very well, then at other times you won’t really see any results. Currently, I can say that no areas that I’ve had done are hairless. The hair is definitely growing less and I have to shave way less often. Because the price was so low, I’d say it was worth it, but I probably wouldn’t buy another year of laser here because of the poor service.

HORRIBLE customer service. Ditzy employees. How is «Hello, first time?» an appropriate receptionist greeting when you’ve seen me every week for 5 weeks?
Always a new technician being trained every time I go. Constant rotating staff and small rooms where they treat 2 clients at once!!! NO PRIVACY. They always try to hardsell you on other services and announce the amount of tip you leave if you tip by credit card.
I made the mistake of giving them my phone number — they will text you 4−5x before your appt to remind/​confirm that you are having _​_​_​_​service done. Who the hell needs that popping up on their phone?! I asked them if they could email me instead or simply call, they laughed in front of everyone in the cramped waiting room, and said «You’re so funny, who cares who sees it, you are taking care of yourself» NOT YOUR DECISION, LADY. I made them remove my cell # and email me instead.
Somehow, they are always booked and it’s hard to schedule your appointment a week in advance. You can only schedule 2 wks in advance. I randomly received an email that my 5:15 appt was changed to 5:30. I called to ask why wasn’t I called if they needed to reschedule and the receptionist was unapologetic.“You need a call to move appt 15min?” YES FOR 15 MIN. Sorry, I have a life unlike you? There’s already a 10 – 15 wait every time I go, now you’re moving it 15min? What the hell.
Honestly, the only reason I continue to go is because I purchased a Groupon package and I’m seeing mild results.
I will not go back when my package is done. I’m sure you can find the same services at any other spa with far better customer service.

I have been going there for about for months the changes are amazing! Now I don’t have to worry about wearing a bikini during the summer! I love it!

The manager Yana is rude and unprofessional. This woman should not be dealing with customers. My appointment was at 11:30 and I arrived at 11:38 after I called and informed that I would be a few minutes late because I was parking. This woman proceeded to cancel my appointment and told me that I lied to her and that she wasn’t going to be bothered and late because of me. This was no way for a manager to talk to me a customer that spends her money in this business. In addition, I’ve gotten laser from her before and she is very rough and burned me!
I love this place but this woman ruined my experience and she shouldn’t work there let alone manage the place.

THIS PLACE IS AWEFUL PLEASE AVOID
You are only allowed to make an appointment every 6 weeks, which is going to be total of 8 sessions for a year. I specifically bought their groupon only because it’s unlimited. I had laser removal sessions in the past in NYC and different countries, it doesn’t really matter if you get it every 6 weeks or not. Usually they will let you come in after 3 weeks, or depends on the condition of your hair growth. The reception told me hair growth cycle is every 6 weeks, so I had to wait. I specifically told her reason why i would like to come in after 4 weeks (thats only 2 weeks difference.) and my hair was growing back, all the sudden she got very angry (i’m sure this happens a lot.) and raised her voice at me. She told me that clients with the unlimited coupon is only allowed to use 8 sessions in a year, and she was threatening me as my unused sessions will be lost.
Results are okay, but compare to other places I’ve been in NYC, it’s not the best. They had high voltage at first two sessions (painful, but worth it.) but later it did not hurt at all. I asked them why and they said it’s because most of my hairs are not growing back. I know that is true, but I am definitely seeing less results now. So I told them to get me stronger one because it’s all starting to grow back, but I really did not feel anything at all again. Again, I had laser removal many times and I know how it works. Elite Body Care also provides single session, I am assuming that when they see clients stop growing hair, they lower the laser power and make them grow back so by the end of the year clients will buy their sessions again.
If they are only going to offer 8 sessions, Why do they using the word ‘unlimited’? I simply think it’s a lie. If you are going to buy a deal, just go to a different place because result is whatever and you don’t want to deal with their lack of customer service.

I found Elite Body Care over a year ago and bought a great Groupon deal for laser hair removal for 1 large area and 2 small areas unlimited (which is really an appointment every 6 weeks).
I was initially skeptical because the package was significantly cheaper than any Laser package I’ve purchased at other skin spas, but the treatments have been extremely effective. The technicians are always very quick, and make you feel very comfortable. Minimal pain and I would highly recommend for full Brazilian & legs.
I also had a laser facial done a few times, to help with mild acne/​skin tone, which has significantly improved my skin, and was only $ 50. They also have a deal running for any referral you bring, you get a free facial.
Yana is WONDERFUL, and really cares about customers satisfaction, comfort, results, and experience. She’s also a nurse, so I always feel better knowing she has medical experience.
Only 4 stars because it’s more difficult to schedule or reschedule an appointment (no online system to book, receptionist doesn’t always answer, very busy at times)

Very rude. The receptionist I spoke to on the phone was very rude and did not want to accommodate my change of appointment. They try to get the most of money they can by scheduling appointments far apart. I bought a years worth of lasers package thinking I was getting a good deal. But instead of the 4 – 6 weeks apart they’re suppose to schedule you, she schedules you 6 – 7 so that instead of 12 possible sessions you get 7 sessions. DO NOT GO. Plus they lose your information. Every time you go they ask if you’re new and ask you to fill out paperwork you already filled out.

I have gone to get laser someplace else and got little to no results. Whereas with Elite especially with Yana, she goes over the area thoroughly which I love.
I have actually seen real results and can’t thank them enough for how clean the area looks. She even asked which area I’m have the most hair in which is a simple question but typically others would just go through the normal spots and could care less what the results are.

I’ve been coming here for about 6 months with a groupon deal. Unsure what I would expect as the last place I went to I didn’t see hardly any results and had gone for about a year.
This place has been great!
The main tech is Yana and she takes really good care of me each time. Being sure to concentrate on the areas with more hair still.
No matter what the first few times you may not begin seeing the difference right away, but after going 3+ times it’s shocking how much over time is gone.
I have a high pain threshold so however strong the setting works for me.
The place is small, but clean and they’re efficient.

I have mixed feelings about this place. My boyfriend bought me a laser package that cost $ 89 to do a small area for a year. I decided to do my underarms and was so excited because a year sounded like it would include a lot of sessions; wrong. They’re policy is that appointments must be booked 6 weeks apart to «give your skin time to heal.» That’s obviously not entirely true since I’ve gotten laser before and did it every 4 weeks so they obviously do it every 6 weeks to cut the sessions down. My total number of sessions came out to exactly 8. It would’ve been 6 – 7 sessions because they oddly NEVER have an appointment available in 6 weeks, usually 7 weeks which will cut down your session number even more. But luckily I decided to walk in exactly on the 6^th week (be careful since they they said they only accept walk ins if you’re doing a SMALL area) and got my moneys worth.
My first session was literally pain free. I was so shocked and assumed they were using some new technology that caused no pain. After the first 3 – 4 sessions I came to the realization that they were just not using a high enough voltage because I didn’t notice ANY difference in my hair. It was still growing thick and dark. I told the technician that the voltage was too low, and in my next session she definitely cranked it up. It was so intense that I started moaning loudly. Although it was extremely painful, that was the FIRST time I began seeing a difference in my hair. Immediately after that session my hair started growing out lighter and in chunks. The next time I went I told the lady to crank it to how she did it last time, and she said she would but she didn’t. I get it, they’re a business and want to make sure their customers keep coming back. But how can they expect to have customers come back when they don’t raise the voltage high enough to make a difference? I’ve gotten laser for my FULL bikini area before at another location a few years back, and let me tell you that pain was INTENSE BUT IT WORKED! I only got 6 sessions at that place and I rarely have to shave down there anymore. It was around $ 300 but definitely worth the price.
After the session where the lady raised the voltage really high, it gave me some hope that the laser would work and I ended up adding another package for my full legs, sideburns, and upper lip for around $ 275 which again is valid for a year of laser aka 8 sessions. I finished the laser for my underarms and honestly the hair is probably 30% less thicker than before. But for $ 89 bucks, I can’t complain. I also tipped $ 5 for each session. I would have tipped more but the session lasted LITERALLY 10 seconds for my underarms and I was rushed out. So I thought $ 5 was more than enough.
I just started the laser for my full legs, sideburns, and upper lip (I’ve done 6 sessions for my upper lip a few years ago at another location, so hope these sessions can erase the hair completely) and even though I told her that my hair is really thick and I need a high voltage, the pain was very mild which means she kept the voltage at a minimum (–_​-​). I keep going because the prices are cheap and the location is walking distance from my house. Plus I already paid so might as well get what I paid for. This will probably be the last time I get a laser package from this place unless my results surpass the results for my underarm laser hair removal.

I adore these ladies. They are extremely kind and generous. I first got the unlimited year laser on groupon last year. I mean, the deal is amazing, and I have been with them now for over a year. Today we talked about life, love and vedic beliefs. It was great.
I was shocked to see all the bad reviews on here. Yes, sometimes they are crowded and get behind schedule. But if you are kind to them, they will be kind to you. If people treat them rudely, as some entitled women have been known to do, well, they can only take so much rudeness. That is all I can imagine for the bad reviews here, because I have never had a bad experience.

So I’ve been going here for 6 months for my Brazilian laser treatments. Before I used to wax and a spa known for their celebrity clientele and their special waxing technique. For the price I expected to be bikini ready all the time yet all I had were ingrown hairs that made me embarrassed to take off my wrap at the beach! Enter Elite!!! I was super skeptical because a laser burn on my privates is worse than ingrown hair. To my amazement the staff explained the equipment, how many sessions I’d need and at were very knowledgeable about the entire process. My fear was gone. They use state of the art equipment so if you think it’s going to hurt think again!!! End result? Went to a wedding in Cancun and I couldn’t wait to show off my body and my perfect bikini line that is now hair less and perfect!!! I have added more services and even recommended a few of my friends!!! The prices are great and you won’t be disappointed. Plus is that the office and rooms are super clean, the staff very friendly and accommodating and you leave with a smile cause you’re gonna like the results!!!

I purchased a one year laser hair removal groupon for this place. Service was always rushed and not done with much care. Employees can be pretty rude and unaccommodating. Results were spotty since the service was not done with much care and when I requested to schedule appointments less than 6 weeks apart they refused (even though I tried less than 6 weeks before and did not have any negative reactions for my skin).
If you don’t see the results you want after 3 times, they will say oh it’s after the 4^th or 5^th time, if you don’t see it then they will say oh it’s after the 6^th or 7^th time that you’ll see good results. and after you finish they year, they will tell you that it doesn’t go away from one year, you need to purchase another year. yea. I don’t think so! So done with this place and the very arrogant people that work there.

Fast, easy, courteous service… Yana was nice and efficient. I scored a last minute appointment, as well!

I have been going to Elite for laser hair removal and have been VERY pleased with the results so far. Everyone there is very nice. I’ve never had a problem with an appointment, nor have I ever had to wait much longer than my original appointment time. The prices are reasonable and, while I understand that results vary from person to person, if you follow their instructions on prep for the appointment and timing, the outcome is great!

Positives:
1. The laser treatment is awesome, fast, painless, and effective. I got a groupon for 1 large and 2 small (1 yr), and saw a 50% decrease in hair growth after the first session. Well worth it! After my 7^th session, it’s 90% gone. Your results may vary, my body hair is med-​coarse. I’m def doing my full legs and arms. (Side note: the darker ur skin, the more prone u are to burning, so the power level has to be lower, that not necessarily mean it’s less effective)
2. The staff is knowledgable, thorough, and friendly (Lena, Laura, Kira).
3. When I first started, this place was very disorganized, the receptionists were rude, long waits … Madhouse! Now they’ve seemed to have gotten it together.
Negatives:
1. When doing laser, Yana is very knowledgable but seems to always be in a rush, and always tried selling u some other package. I try to avoid her.
2. Tried the Ultrasonic cavitation, saw no results. I am 5.2 128lbs, and wanted to smoothen my tummy a bit. Maybe it’s because ur also supposed to diet, exercise, and drink lots of water while doing the cavitation. But I will try the smooth shape, heard it works!

I like this place. At first I did one area and now, a year after and having seen great results and with no pain I purchased another area as well. They are very fast, and I usually don’t wait longer than 10 minutes in line.

This place sucks bad. I went there for the first time of getting facial hair removal. I i sat in a small waiting room for about 20 minutes to be seen and the lady was super rude. It took 5 minutes and I asked her for a full face laser removal and she only did my sideburns under my chin and my mustache within five minutes I was done. she just told me to clean myself up and took in the next customer

She also said that I can’t pretend to have really UNLIMITED unless I pay full price (not Groupon price) the way she gives you the appointment you would have max 6 or 8 sessions in a year.

One of your reception is not like that. (I wish I know her name) I tried to change my appointment but she offered me only morning which I totally could not.
So I decided to walk in and it solves my problem rather than talking with unserviceable receptionist.

I found this place on Groupon and decided to go check it out since the deal seemed too good to be true. I got the consultation and from first impression I felt very uncomfortable. Space is so small, they’re speaking Russian (not sure what’s being said), the technicians look very unprofessional, no certificates anywhere, and Yani tried to force me to pay and do my first session that day. I was feeling uneasy about it but she offered to throw in a few extra areas if I took it right then and paid them directly instead of buying the Groupon (BIG MISTAKE!!).
I ended up taking it. she did a small section on my hand to prove to me that it wouldn’t hurt. It actually didn’t do I started on face and neck. Immediately it hurt like HELL! I started wincing and moving and she said I should have shaved before coming, but didn’t even stop! Within 3 minutes she was done. My face and neck were ON FIRE! She gave me extreme burn cream to rub on. I knew something was wrong by how painful it was to the touch.
Two days later I had THREE BIG BURNS on my neck and the area she «tested» on my hand before she started was also burnt!!! I called them immediately and got a refund. I never went back. I’m now scarred for life because I didn’t trust my gut.

To be honest, it has taken me sometime to warm up to this place as they’re always so busy and its hard to make appointments! But if you keep with it, its worth it. Lina is the best. She did my laser for my 4^th treatment and is very cool, honest and made me feel extremely comfortable. I’m anxious for the results from this last treatment!

Horrible experience. Kept me waiting for nothing, claiming that they can’t find my name in their files. Worse of all when another person came to negotiate for a service they totally forgot about me. They kept me waiting more than 20minutes. They are always full. If you are planning to buy a deal from groupon try other places.

I bought 2 groupons in a total of $ 400. Came in to make an appointment because I work close by and they didn’t call back. Wanna know why they never do? Because the receptionist writes down your numbers in a corner of a fashion magazine. They don’t give a f*ck.
Yana Kitover is talking to customers as if it’s her last day at work. I’ve never met such a rude and arrogant person in NYC (not even talking about health care professionals). She said that I should return my groupon if I don’t want to wait forever for them to call me. I actually did, but not because of that. I read that they spend 15 mins for laser on both legs LOL. You get what you pay for. Thanks for saving me $ 400.

This time I only give two stars… It’s my 5^th times going for my laser hair removal treatment. I bought the package from groupon. I gave them 5 stars on the first time going there because their services are very good and the staffs are pretty nice, but after the 2^nd session I felt I got rip off. I don’t see any result and I told the technician to set a higher or stronger setting, but she didn’t do it she said my hair is too fine that’s why no result. Plus the session is SOOOO fast, not even 3 minutes for a small area. Another thing got me mad is she asked for more tips. I think the reason she set at a lower setting so customers can come back more often to do it then she can get more tips since she’s not making much from selling the package. But no matter what I still have to go back since I already paid, but I might not go back that often.

This review is not of the actual facilities or treatments. I never got to experience that because I was so turned off by the first encounter over the phone. And I go to plenty of day spas, so I know what to expect.
I had purchased their really cheap groupon offer for cavi lipo to get ready for summer. I was very excited and just called this morning to make an appointment for the first-​time. I spoke to 2 receptionists who were extremely rude over the phone.
After giving the first receptionist my first and last name and phone number 3 or 4 times, someone else abruptly cut in and demanded the same information. I had to repeat my phone number more than 5 times. I asked why I had to keep repeating the same information. The «manager» who I was now talking to now kept telling me I was talking too much! And that I should just give her the phone number again and again. She did the same thing with my name, which, surprise surprise, was spelled wrong even though I spelled it out slowly as if to a child 3 or 4 times. Can you imagine a receptionist telling a first-​time customer they’re talking too much? I couldn’t believe that she had the nerve to treat anyone that way.
Clearly, aside from their rude staff, this location has sold more Cavi Lipo groupons than they can handle. If you’re a first-​timer don’t expect your first appointment to be for 2 or 3 weeks. They won’t make the second appointment until you go in, so you can’t be sure as to your next procedure. I’m not upset about that, but just the way she rudely kept trying to shut down all the questions I was asking. All in all, whoever I spoke to had a HORRIBLE attitude and treated me as if she was trying to DO ME A FAVOR, by scheduling the appointment, trying to get me off the phone and onto the next. Not looking forward to having to deal with these people and be treated like that for 10 weeks, I cancelled the groupon. The cheap price is sadly in this case an indication of the POOR service you can expect. I realize now it’s worth it to pay a little bit more for good customer service and peace of mind.
