Dizzy’s Club Coca-​Cola, one of the three main performance venues located at Frederick P. Rose Hall, Home of Jazz at Lincoln Center, produces world-​class jazz performances nightly and welcomes locals and visitors alike to enjoy the city’s best music, food and libations. Set in the Time Warner Center against a glittering backdrop with spectacular views of Central Park, the intimate 140-​seat jazz club provides a hip environment for performance and other special events.

Great Performances and Dizzy’s Club Coca-​Cola serve up southern style cuisine nightly starting at 6:00 PM accompanied by performance sets Monday — Sunday at 7:30 PM and 9:30 PM. An additional late-​night menu is offered for the 11:30 PM set on Friday and Saturday nights. The food and drink recipes created for Dizzy’s Club combine the bold flavors of the South with New York City flair.

Menu highlights include: Crisp Fried Buttermilk Calamari, Louisiana Style Fried Catfish, Hickory Smoked Baby Back Ribs, and Red Velvet Cake.

History

Established in 2004.

Dizzy’s Club Coca-​Cola opened to the public on October 21, 2004 — which would have been Dizzy’s 87th birthday — with a celebration of the music of Dizzy Gillespie. For three weeks, the music written by, performed by or made popular by Dizzy Gillespie was featured by Paquito D’Rivera, Carla Cook, Bill Charlap and The Juilliard Jazz Orchestra and others.

Center advances a unique vision for the continued development of the art of jazz by producing a year-​round schedule of performance, education, and broadcast events for audiences of all ages. These productions include concerts, national and international tours, residencies, a jazz hall of fame and concert series, weekly national radio programs, television broadcasts, recordings, publications, an annual high school jazz band competition and festival, a band director academy, jazz appreciation curriculum for students, music publishing, children’s concerts and classes, lectures, adult education courses, student and educator workshops, and interactive websites.
