DO NOT HIRE THIS FIRM.
They didn’t clean my house well after a renovation. To make matters worse, they agreed to refund a portion of the agreed-​upon fee but I had to pay in full first. After I paid, they have not refunded the money they promised.

This was the biggest and most expensive mistake I have probably ever made
Hired these people to clean a completely empty (we are talking no furniture at all) house before moving in. I couldn’t believe how many times I was asked «do you want me to clean this» yes. I want you to clean everything in his empty house. They tacked on charges for extra time and for cleaning the carpet on the stairs. They charge by the hour and then bring the slowest shadiest people you’ve ever seen (clearly had no idea what to do) I was completely unsatisfied when they (finally) left, but I wanted them out so badly I didn’t care– the «owner» was the most irritating person. Would you «forget» to clean the blinds in a totally empty house? They stayed well beyond the amount of time they quoted which meant they were still cleaning and I was still paying when the moving trucks and all of our family got there– «in the way» doesn’t really describe it. I ordered catering to feed my family and friends who helped with the move and when I offered the cleaners to take some lunch to go– they had the nerve to sit and eat it on my lawn. This cost me over $ 500! I could have done this clean, by myself and more thoroughly than these 3 people did and in less time had I not been pregnant. My husband was furious and even though I knew the company offers to come back if you are not satisfied, I would never let them back in the house again because they are amateurs. The owner comes and cleans/​teaches/​watches the people he brings and it still took an inappropriately long amount of time. He promised that him being there would expedite the process. I definitely did not. I have never seen anything like it. Milking the pay by hour thing. Don’t pay cleaners by the hour. Learned my lesson here big time and the only thing that got cleaned out was my $ 500 bucks.

There is a difference between a messy house and a dirty house. As a somewhat closeted packrat (who packs stuff into her closet!), I can take care of the mess myself. But when it’s gotten too dirty to tackle on my own, it’s time to call D2P. Jared, one of the owners, is communicative and professional when we book appointments. Before we set up our first appointment, he asked for a detailed list of all the areas we wanted to cover, so he could set up a time estimate. The first cleaner we had went SO far and above the call of duty. She even cleaned the insides of our toaster oven and fridge for us! Since then, we don’t have to provide instructions or reminders to the cleaner, they know exactly what needs to be tackled.
We’ve felt totally confident having the cleaner come while we’re away at work. While we try to maintain our house so the dirt doesn’t reach a nuclear level, it’s always comforting to know we can call D2P and they’ll effortlessly tackle the job.

Just used them with one of the group discounts and have been disappointed with most of the other services but the guy yes it was a guy who came by did a great job as our bathroom is sparkling now as he got some stuff out that we had tried unsucessfully to clean ourselves.

I have had these people cleaning my apartment for a while, and at first they were really good but quality deteriorated over time. This week they put my iron skillet in the dishwasher. I’ve had enough. TIme to find a new cleaner.

I’ve been using Dirty2Purdy services for a while now. They consistently do a good job with cleaning, and if there’s ever an issue with their cleaning services, all it takes is a quick phone call or an email to the team managers and the issue is resolved moving forward.
I’ve never had an issue with anything going missing, occasionally I have left items of value out by mistake, and it’s still there when I come home, just placed nice and neatly like everything else.
If I leave items out or dishes in the sink, they’re always organized, folded, cleaned, and dishes are put away.
I know some people here have had issues with their services, but I have been pleased and know that D2P has been a huge time saver for me, and I would recommend them to anyone.

I’ve been working with Jared and David at Dirty2Purdy over the last year, and they’ve been a lifesaver. Since I’ve been spending part of my time in each of SF and NYC so using Airbnb to arbitrage the rent on the latter when in SF, I needed someone to clean in between clients as well as coordinate key handoff.
The guys at Dirty2Purdy have consistently done an excellent job in cleaning and been a pleasure to work with. They even went out and bought new sheets when the old ones were wearing out and so could rotate new sheets in with each cleaning.
I rec them highly.

A couple of weeks ago I hired Dirty2Purdy to clean my place. Between me and my wife, I have always been the neat freak — so ever since I started my own business, the place has been going to pot. (And, when you have four kids, that’s pretty quick.)
Dirty2Purdy did a fantastic job. They not only clean (vacuum, mop, etc,) but all of the loose items were neatly placed off to the side in such a tidy manner — kind of the way you would expect someone who was OCD to have their house. Which is awesome.
I’m very happy. I will use them again, and I will recommend to my friends.

Worst experience I have had with a cleaning company. I paid $ 300 for a deep clean and the cleaning woman failed to open some of my cabinets. It was not even as clean as when I have my normal cleaning woman come for 2 hours and they were supposedly there for 8. Filed a complaint with the better business bureau which they did not even follow up on.
Disappointed and a poor excuse for a business. I would be embarrassed if it was my company.

Very poor value for money. Cleaner was poorly skilled — did not seem to understand how to properly clean. For example, he cleaned the bathroom, but ‘missed’ the bathtub. He cleaned the kitchen, but ‘missed’ the tiles above the stove. He did not mop the floors, but only swept.
All in all, he did an ok job of doing a superficial clean after a lot of prodding and prompting. It was the level of clean I could’ve achieved with a few spare hours — he took 4.5, with a lot of supervision.
I called the manager, hoping to find a more capable cleaner to replace the novice in my apartment, but the manager was unhelpful and did not follow up as promised.
I would never use this business again.

Bummer others reviewers had disappointing experiences. My wife and I got this service not once, but twice to help us clean our disorganized mess of an apartment (due to us having a new addition in our lives in the past month.) The cleaners were prompt both times considering we live in a deeper part of BK. They were also courteous and respectful and were willing to go the extra mile if we needed them to. Definitely would recommend them.

They cleaned me out.
The woman who cleaned our apartment stole my credit card and is now serving a year in jail. This service doesn’t screen it’s employees this woman was arrested 13 times before.

Well, the owner called me yesterday, was very apologetic, and provided a refund — which was unexpected and appreciated. He took full responsibility for everything, which was a very stand-​up thing to do.

I’ve given D2P fair chance to call me back, but they chose not to. So here you go.
I signed up with Dirty2Purty for regular cleaning services. The first service was in May — 4 hours worth of work. While in general the cleaning was «OK» — the apartment was definitely cleaner, and there was good work done in certain areas, there were some significant issues:
1) I had to revacuum the one rug in the apartment — it was clearly still dirty
2) one of the legs of a storage ottoman we have was broken off. There were shards of wood next to the ottoman. I had to re-​attach using nails.
3) I specifically asked not to clean the LCD HDTV — well, it was cleaned with something that left streaks and some scratches — minor, but they are still there.
4) one of the dressers in the bedroom still had significant dust — as if it was missed.
I called the day after and left a message, detailing the above issues and asking for a call back. I received a generic call a few days later — it was clear my message was never listened to. I reiterated to the woman who called the issues, and she said she would let the owners know. I also told her I didn’t want to continue with regular service.
I just got a phone call «reminding me of my appointment for Friday». Clearly neither my voicemail nor what I told the woman in May were heeded. She said «yeah, the owner is busy».
Unfortunate. D2P is definitely more expensive then other cleaners, so in my mind you should expect better service.

I really, really wanted to give this review five stars like so many people have before me. I had read so many positive reviews of Dirty 2 Purdy, which my friend Carey had recommended to me. But when I schedule a service, I expect that service to start at the appointed time. Not three hours later.
Now, I am in no way blaming the two wonderful ladies who came to my apartment and cleaned it from top to bottom. They impressed me from the moment they arrived with their professionalism, friendliness and attention to detail. They made my apartment not only sparkle, but frankly, unrecognizable! My hubby and I wish we had those floating chairs from WALL-​E so we don’t step on or touch anything. We want to leave everything as is!
Anyway, as many of the previous reviews have stated, my business relationship with Dirty 2 Purdy began when the owner, David, came to my dust-​caked apartment to assess what we needed done. We had recently gotten the kitchen renovated, and the apartment hadn’t been professionally cleaned in three and a half years. It was time for a thorough cleaning.
David not only was affable, but he gave me plenty of suggestions for saving money on my cleaning service as he perused my apartment and took copious notes. I was quite pleased with his estimate and arranged for two of his cleaners to come the following day.
The cleaning was scheduled to begin at 1pm. At 1:05pm, David called and explained that the women who were to come to my apartment were running over at their previous job and that they would be at my place at 2 – 2:30pm. No problem.
But then it was 2:50pm. No call. No cleaners. I called D2P’s offices again and spoke to David’s assistant. She said something to the effect that my cleaners had just returned to the office, they were on their way and that they were «running a bit late.»
I’m sorry, but two hours is hardly «a bit late.» The cleaning women finally arrived at my apartment at 3:50pm (after the assistant told me they would be there a good 20 – 30 minutes sooner than that), almost three hours after their appointed start time.
Now, the good news is they stayed as late as necessary to get the job done, and I was not disappointed at all with their work. As I stated before, their lateness was not their fault in any way. But what I didn’t appreciate was how D2P was not more on top of this problem — they should have called me more than once to keep me abreast of the situation. Also, instead of giving me a vague «they’re running late» comment, I think that the D2P office should have explained WHY my cleaning women were late. Furthermore, I think the D2P office should have offered me a discount for having to wait three extra hours for their staff to show up.
The bottom line is, D2P is a competent business that I would use in the future and I would certainly recommend it. But it’s obvious that since it’s only a 15-​month-​old company, it’s still developing its communication and customer-​relations skills.

Very professionally run! Totally unlike most house cleaners that I’ve tried. The owner of the company comes over first to assess the situation and give an estimate. He details everything that you want cleaned and works with the time/​budget limits he’s given.
I was given a house cleaning as a gift and couldn’t be more pleased. It was so lovely to come home to a spic and span apartment today. If I could afford to have my apt cleaned on a regular basis, there’s no question that I’d call this company again!

So, I moved into my apt 2 months ago. Unfortunately for me, the previous tenant did not clean it before she left and it was FILTHY. After trying to clean it myself mannnny times and not even making a dent in the layers of dirt, I decided I had to find a professional. I turned to Unilocal and found Dirty2Purdy. The reviews were awesome, as you can see, so I decided to email the owner, David. He got back to me really quickly, and we scheduled for him to come over and look at my apartment’s disaster-​area qualities the next day. David came over to give me an estimate, and he was really cool and nice and gave me a really reasonable price, so I thought I would give Dirty2Purdy a try.
The cleaning was AWESOME. The day of my appointment, I had to run to the library, so I had to leave the lady that D2P sent alone in my apartment. Obviously I have heard horror stories about leaving someone alone in my apartment, but I had no choice. When I got back three hours later (eek), my apartment was perfectly clean and sparkling, and not one little thing was missing– she even made a neat little pile of all my laundry quarters– they may not be worth too much, but they are worth everything to me hahaaa.
Dirty2Purdy did an amazing job at a great price, and has an amazing staff. I would recommend it to anyone. David is a smart and competent business man, and the woman who cleaned my apartment was thorough and sweet. Now my feet are clean when I walk around barefoot, and my bathroom is actually white. yayy!

Okay, enough cheesiness here and in all seriousness this is THE best cleaning service I have EVER EVER EVER had. It’s unfortunate that a service like this doesn’t exist in Los Angeles. Durty2Purdy is an OCDs dream. I’ve met two people in person and both are very sweet and amiable. Very easy to converse and work with. I do find their hourly rates a little higher than most but the cost reflects the motto «You get what you pay for» They are the most thorough and detailed oriented cleaners ever. They even bothered to clean my air filter in my air conditioning box to prevent more dust. I wouldn’t call anyone else for help!

Any company that cleans my oven knobs gets an A+ in my book.
While the cleaning was thorough, I’m most pleased with the customer service and accountability. They asked all the right questions and took pride in making sure I was satisfied. They are the most professional cleaning service I’ve encountered and are highly recommended.

These guys are great!
I just moved into an apartment and it was a disaster on moving day. Very little was done to clean up the dust and debris from the work that was done on it before I moved in.
These guys came in and cleaned every nook and cranny; the molding around the doors and windows, the windows, the shelves and cabinets, bathroom, kitchen, and stove.
The price was right and ever so sweeter when I saw how spotless this place was when I got home from work.
